I have a strange problem with my Samsung Galaxy A14 phone, as soon as I install a screen protector for the device, a problem occurs in the touch function, which is: when touching a point on the upper half of the screen and waiting six seconds or more, the entire upper section becomes unresponsive to touch until a point on the lower half of the screen is touched!
- I have changed the screen protector three times to no avail.
- No problem occurs if the screen protector is removed.
- This problem does not occur when the charger is connected to the device even with the screen protector installed .
- What is the explanation for this and what is the solution?

I have a Samsung S4 [I9505] and I was looking for a good protective case for it. initially I was going for a Slim TPU Gel case but it didn't feel like it would give much protection from bumps etc.
I was thinking of buying a leather case with a magnetic closure but after reading a bit online, people are saying the magnetic flap which closes the case can damage the AMOLED screen, also the magnet that sits on the screen side. So do you think it could be risky to use this case? Would it damage my phone or screen in any way?

How important is "Gorilla glass" in a smartphone?

My question: How significant is the lack/presence of "Gorilla Glass"? Are other covering glass types simply unbranded and not as well known, but similar in resistance to shocks/bending - or does "Gorilla Glass" really have a significant advantage?

I have Samsung Spica I5700 that have capacitive touchscreen, and I used a touchscreen protector.
Recently, I've noticed that the touchscreen often produces erratic movements, for example, if I put my still finger on the screen, the "cursor" will shake vigorously (sometimes very far off).
This makes the touchscreen very unusable; countless of times I've accidentally flinged the page when scrolling, while touching the screen for small scrolling; countless of times, the screen registered scrolling as a zooming or unzooming; and worse, it often flings to the wrong direction from my swiping direction (indicating a random erratic sensing). Sometimes, when I tried to touch a button/link on the top-left, the screen will detect a click in some other far away button (i.e. one **not** under my finger). Any games that uses touch intensively also becomes unplayable.
Could this be caused by the screen protector? Since capacitive touchscreen is operated by soft surface of a finger (instead of a pointy stylus), is there any noticeable benefit of using screen protector? or are they just a waste of time and money? do you think peeling off the protector will have a chance of fixing those problems?

I've bought the screen and body protector from zagg.com by recommendation and am pleased with that but this offers no protector for the camera itself. (see: https://android.stackexchange.com/questions/2935/best-screen-protector-htc-desire-z )
I would think that protecting the camera lens window on this phone (and many others) would be more of a priority as this is actually functionality of the phone that needs to be protected - i.e. clear photos and video, rather than cosmetic - which most screen protectors do a good job of but fall short on the camera protection, it seems.
