My Samsung Spica can't detect the SD card anymore

Recently I found a surprise on my Android notifications bar, telling me that the SD card is removed. I unplugged it and plugged it again but it didn't work. I rebooted the device; still not working. I tested it on my laptop, and in another device. The SD card is detected and it's working just fine. I tried my friend's SD card but it also couldn't be detected! By the way I bought this Spica last year and I never had an issue with the SD card before. Finally and desperately I formatted it to Ext2 format on my laptop, and it still doesn't work on the Spica. Any one have this issue before? How to deal with or how to fix it?

How do I toggle headset/headphone mode manually?
It seems that the hardware erroneously regard the headset as attached at all times (to the 3.5" jack). This makes me unable to make calls without headset or speaker mode.

I have Samsung Spica I5700 that have capacitive touchscreen, and I used a touchscreen protector. Recently, I've noticed that the touchscreen often produces erratic movements, for example, if I put my still finger on the screen, the "cursor" will shake vigorously (sometimes very far off). This makes the touchscreen very unusable; countless of times I've accidentally flinged the page when scrolling, while touching the screen for small scrolling; countless of times, the screen registered scrolling as a zooming or unzooming; and worse, it often flings to the wrong direction from my swiping direction (indicating a random erratic sensing). Sometimes, when I tried to touch a button/link on the top-left, the screen will detect a click in some other far away button (i.e. one **not** under my finger). Any games that uses touch intensively also becomes unplayable. Could this be caused by the screen protector? Since capacitive touchscreen is operated by soft surface of a finger (instead of a pointy stylus), is there any noticeable benefit of using screen protector? or are they just a waste of time and money? do you think peeling off the protector will have a chance of fixing those problems?

Spica i5700: How to downgrade from froyo 2.2 to eclair 2.1
I have a Spica i5700 with Froyo version of 2.2.2. I want to downgrade it to Eclair 2.1, because I find the screen often produces erratic movements such as auto-input to my password even if I am not inputting anything. It also auto-scrolls, even if I am not scrolling it.

I have changed my screen density using the LCD Resolution app in order to have a fake 800x600 resolution (it worked well). Problem is that the app still disaplys the error message and displays my resolution has if it hadn't change so I guess it is based on the physical resolution of the device. Is there a way to fake the physical resolution so that I can run the app?

Samsung Galaxy Spica won't boot up fully. Just restarts over and over

My Samsung galaxy won't turn on properly. Basically it turns on, shows the 'OMG screen' which it does when it crashes, then goes to the Samsung loading bar, but then goes back to the crash screen. It keeps going in a loop forever! I tried a hard reset, which if I understand correctly is holding down the volume down key and end call key, but this did nothing. (Sorry I'm not good at describing, hope this is clear!) Thanks!

Voicemail on my T-Mobile Galaxy Portal/Spica/i5700 doesn't work. I've set it up via the Tmobile voicemail setup, but if I call my mobile it just rings and rings until I get a message saying 'This number is currently unavailable.' Is there anything in Android itself that might have borked it? I'm running an *ahem* not official Samsung version of Froyo. In Settings -> Call Settings I can see Voicemail service, from which my only option is My Carrier, and Voicemail Settings, and all that lets me do is pick the voicemail number to call. Or is it more likely just some error at T-mobile's end? Thought I'd check before giving them a call.

Only after I made a call or send a message then all the missed calls and SMSes came at once. How do I restore the normal function?
