protonbridge with claws-mail
Has anyone used claws-mail with proton email, via protonbridge, or otherwise? claws-mail requires a fairly manual setup, and protonbridge is pretty sparse with the information it provides.

How do I change the user agent of K-9 Mail's IMAP client on Android?

I'm trying to use k-9 mail on android to connect to my organization's IMAP server which is being run as an **outlook.office365.com** service. As I'm sure many of you know, Microsoft recently turned off *Basic Authentication* which is how I previously connected. While this no longer works, I should be able to use OAuth2 which is supported by both server and client.
However, when connecting and then authenticating I then get the following error.
I should note, I am able to use the OAuth2 authentication in Thunderbird on Linux. Since, IMAP is the actual protocol being used in both cases, I'm guessing that the only difference is the "User Agent" string being sent to the server in the android case.
**How do I configure K-9 to use the same user agent string as I see sent from my Linux machine?**

Synchronise claws-mail instances
I run claws-mail on multiple computers and would like to synchronise the configuration and address books. Is there some canonical way to do this? I couldn’t find instructions in the manual and I don't want to sync the whole `~/.claws-mail` folder if possible.

I use a laptop without a mouse as my main work system, and I could really use a fully keyboard-driven email client with graphics support.
Right now I have the option of using GUI clients, which, even if they support the keyboard, are optimized for the mouse (buttons and menus taking screen space, actions based on navigating menus with the arrow keys, etc) or terminal-based clients, which don't support embedded images in HTML messages.
Is there something that tries to mix the best of both worlds?

In Balsa 2.5.1 is it possible to connect to SMTP with port 465 with
SSL? The IMAP setup has an SSL option which disables the TLS choices,
but I do not see anything similar when setting up SMTP. I know that
SMTP port 587 with STARTTLS is the standard-compliant way to connect
(and the same with IMAP port 143 STARTTLS vs
IMAP port 993 SSL), but my mail service doesn't seem to support this
yet. I have tried every combination I can come up with in the SMTP
settings in Balsa, but nothing seems to work. I have been able to
connect in every other email client I have used, so I don't think there
is any problem with the server (other than supporting the latest
standards, ha).
Also, when using the compose window in Balsa and typing in the To
field, after hitting tab it takes you to another To field and you have
to hit tab once or twice more to get to the Subject field. Is there any
way to have the tab press after typing the first To address take you
directly to the Subject field (I didn't notice anything in the options, but perhaps I overlooked it)?
Thank you.

Also I don't want to stop using Fetchmail, Procmail and Exim4. It would be nice to find something similar to Mutt, but with better HTML answering abilities.

My email is kept on a remote server and accessible from anywhere by IMAP.
What I'd like is a mail client that will periodically sync that remote mail to my laptop in the backgroun, so that when I open my mail client, today's email is instantly there and does not need to be downloaded. The background sync process could be some separate daemon or a function of the mail client itself.
What I have now is just Thunderbird accessing the remote mail server via IMAP. But it means that mail only syncs when I start Thunderbird, and it takes ages to do so before I can read it. It's a slow process.
I have a feeling that fetchmail could form part of what I want, as it can download mail to a local maildir. But then what's the easiest way to access this mail locally? And would fetchmail be smart enough to handle two-way sync, so that when I delete, move or save a mail locally the change will make its way to my remote IMAP server?
Or is there some other Thunderbird-like mail client that can sync in the background (I work in Gnome), solving my problem?
