Is there any standalone version of chrometophone ? I use the firefox one.
I would like to be able to send text to the clipboard easily but with the browser extension I have to type into a form text box and then right click to send it to the mobile's clipboard. This is something I find I use very often but it's far from ideal especially for sensitive data.
Jumpnotes is another c2dmm application that does help, but it's still not ideal. I would love to see some desktop client that can do all the c2dm functionality with keyboard shortcuts.
One of the reasons I need this is that my gmail is filtered at work so if I want to reply to an email I have to scrape it out on the mobile itself or type up some text for the clipboard and paste it into a new email.
Thanks in advance for any help

According to FoxToPhone (presumable, ChrometoPhone is similar)
you can
* Send current page with address bar button
* Right click on any link/image to send to your Android phone
* Highlight any text and right click to send to the clipboard in your phone (Max. 1024 chars)
* Click on market:, smsto: and tel: links to open them in your phone
* Best of all it’s free and open source
mmmmm. nice. Okay. It's installed in FireFox and on my phone. I highlight text, right-click, send to phone. Blammo! It's on my phone's clipboard!
But..... what are the uses for this? WHEN does anybody need to send a block of text TO THE PHONE'S CLIPBOARD?
If anything, I'd want this the other way around -- when browsing a page in Dolphin, I'd rather read in on my desktop later, or something.
What do y'all use this for?

In the settings area I am not able to see anything for the Cloud printing options.
If the default browser on a Android phone is not Google Chrome, What is the best way to get Google Chrome installed so I can use the Cloud Printing? And make it the default browser!

I indeed do not see it in the list. What should I do to install it? (BTW, I also can't find it on the Google Market)

Has anyone used this feature successfully? (C2DM feature explanation here - warning, it is a technical document ) As a user, how do you do it?
The only app that I can find that looks like it does this is Chrome to Phone .
Given the name, is the phone function crucial to pushing a Map to your Android device?
I'm looking to send directions from my PC to my Archos 43 that is paired up with a Bluetooth GPS.
Thanks!
