If I manage to get root access to my device, where to find and how to read the decryption Key? I selected sd card to be used as internal storage and removed it without Using 'Eject' , that too multiple times, which corrupted the data. The data was not readable even in the same Android device in which the sd card was formatted as transportable internal storage. So transferred all important data- images and videos to my computer. Then reformatted the sd card as portable storage then again Transportable internal storage multiple times & did the same thing with another sd card just to somehow make the data readable by transferring it from my computer into it but could not make it Readable. All these transfers on the two different s d card formatted as internal storage may have changed the Key inside the Android device system. Can the Final Key be used to get the original 1st Key which was generated the very 1st time when sd card was formatted as internal storage? If so, * How to read the Final key ? * How to get the original Key?? * How to use the key to decrypt the backed up data storage on my computer?

I can't find the stock reading app. I have 'Open with' available on the context menu but then the stock reading app isn't listed. 'File Associations' will also fail to find the stock app and the intent is being picked up by Aldiko. How do I get back to opening PDFs and ePUBs in the B&N stock app?

I accidentally clicked on the stupid Reader Mode button in Firefox while I was typing into a form on a webpage, then quickly tapped it again to return to normal mode, but it reloaded the page, losing everything I typed. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1225124 doesn't work because I can't access about:config (blank (white) page), and https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1300502 doesn't help with that. Is there any way to either disable this useless feature or prevent it from losing my data, and/or restore what I typed this time? To the Firefox developers, here are your options: 1. Move the Reader Mode button into the 3-dot menu or somewhere else that requires multiple taps 2. Don't reload the page when toggling Reader Mode 3. Save the page state (especially form data) before entering Reader Mode and restore it when exiting 4. Provide an option to remove Reader Mode or do any of the above Firefox Daylight, 94.1.2 (Build #2015844587), AC: 94.0.12, e5eb726f81, GV: 94.0-20211028161635, AS: 85.4.0, 2021-11-08T21:26:04.605951, on Android 12.

When I use Aldiko to a book in *epub* format on a mobile device with a small screen, I can read it without problems. The text is adjustable to the size, the application has no issues. The opposite is true when I'm reading *pdf* file. It's always a fight. The text is small and unadjustable and the application freezes. Is there a way to adjust the size of the text in my PDF files so that they are more easily readable? I don't intend to read scanned pdfs (this would be even bigger fight). I would like to be able to adjust text size, do scaling and not have the application freeze. I'm open to trying other readers if Aldiko cannot handle this. EDIT: The title was changed, but note that it's not only the change in the size of text. The text should be flexible to various sizes of devices. This is called floating text (or layout) in HTML terminology. A lot of PDF readers can change the text size without the text fitting the device screen.

Google Play Books - Navigate back to reading passage text
Often in ebooks there are links embedded in paragraphs that reference some image or figure in the previous chapters or sections. Once I've clicked on it (and viewed that image), how do I get back to the paragraph I was reading? Hitting android's back button always exits the app.

Setting screen timeout when browsing

I read [this](https://android.stackexchange.com/questions/7788/how-to-disable-screen-timeout-for-a-particular-program-only) , [this](https://android.stackexchange.com/questions/4595/screen-timeout-when-reading) and [this](https://android.stackexchange.com/questions/10223/change-screen-timeout-to-never) answers, but some apps (like Screebl or Keep Screen Lite) are non-existent already and some (Tasker) are not working for me. The most proposed solution is Tasker, however I tried it and it messes my display settings which is even worse than the lack of dynamic timeout. It doesn't return timeout setting to default state which then drains my battery and is also very irritating. Seems to be a bug. My question is: do you know a **native MM way** to dynamically set up timeout while browsing? Or maybe a web-browser app that have **built-in** ability to disable timeout? I tried searching descriptions of apps, but this option is rarely highlighted, and, personal experience is highly appreciated. Have anybody met such app?

I am trying to transfer 5.4 GB file form an android internal memory (Sony Xperia Z2). But it seems that most applications have issues addressing the file beyond cca 1.5 GB. They just can't read the file after that point and end with an error. It applies to e.g. Zarchiver (failed compressing), Wifi File Server (stopped sending), etc. However some apps can read those, e.g. the video player or some binary readers. It seems that there might be a limit in standard API and the app needs to use different API for reading big files. Is there some such limit of 1.5 GB? I have seen the 2 GB limit related to FAT32 + unsigned int, which seems not to be the case as I have files over 2 GB. It's just that most apps can't reach their content beyond those 1.5 GB.

Google Currents vs Google Reader
They appear to perform the same functionality... only difference I see is that Currents layout is more like a magazine. And I can import my Reader subscriptions to Currents. What's the difference between the two? Is there any reason to use one over the other? Does Currents replace Reader?
