When I book a travel, the company sends me a reminder with one or more ics files that work fine with Microsoft Outlook. I buy almost only from computer, because official Android app does not offer the same discounts: I mean, this specific rail company almost sells regular-price tickets via app, but if you browse their website from desktop computer you may be able to find discounted prices for the very same journey. Plus, there is no ticket synchronization with this specific vendor even if I use the same account on the website and application. I can't use anymore Local Sync for Android (R.I.P. ), so I end up with a reminder email message into my Outlook/Gmail app with those ics files attached. When I open the ics file with Android Calendar it won't import it. Also worth to note I don't use Gmail address. The Gmail *app* is configured with my IMAP mailbox to get the rail tickets. Question: with vanilla Android 7, is there a trick to import an ics calendar file into Android Calendar? Didn't Google add support for standard ics files into their app? Is it possible **not** to install yet another app?

What is wrong with my mom's nexus 6. She was running stock Google Nexus software and kept encountering a problem where her texts would not send. I think I fixed it once by deleting the cache of some system apps (dialer service, messenger service) and restarting the device, but I can't even be sure of that. I also tried a different default texting app. It happened again last night so I spent a couple hours unlocking the Bootloader, installing twrp, and installing Cyanogen mod. While it works really well with cyanogen mod, she complained that the problem occured again after about 12 hours. Does anyone here have insight into the likely cause of this? I reflashed recovery, so the only thing that remains is the bootloader. Is it something with android 6.0, bootloader, baseband, or maybe something on Tmobile's end?

I am sharing this piece of knowledge for the folks who might face the same problem. ## Scenario I am manually upgrading a rooted Motorola Nexus 6 device, for which OTA update is not available due to system ROM modification. A populare guide can be found here or by following Nexus Root Toolkit's wizard. ## Problem Android reboots in recovery mode with a "No command" message. NRT and guides say that this is the pre-screen to recovery. I need to enter recovery and enable download from ADB. The problem is that when I do the PWR+Volume+ sequence I only get the device rebooted into Android
