In my country Wifi calling is being introduced however this will apply to new phones as Samsaung will push an update to enable it for specific models. S10+ as you know has no updates for more than one year, so most likely it will never work for wifi calling. When I travel abroad and buy new SIM the Wifi calling option appears (As the country I travelled to has operators that made agreement with Samsung long time ago when the S10+ was getting monthly updates) but when I return to my home country the option disappears for my home SIM. Is there any way to enable it for my home SIM in S10+/Android 12 (noting that my SIM is provisioned with Wifi calling from my carrier and working fine in S22 Ultra) ? My Phone is a Moto g7 Play. My provider is Koodo (a brand of the Canadian Telus), I am dialing from Canada. My account includes the following feature: > **Unlimited Long Distance Pack** > > Get unlimited long distance calling to 27 countries including the **US**, China, Hong Kong, India, Mexico, Bangladesh, and the UK from anywhere in Canada. When I dial a US number, the call goes through, but there is no sound on my end. I don't hear the ringing tones, the other party, nothing; though once the call connects the other party hears me. Accepting calls (from Canada or the US) works fine. Dialing Canadian numbers works fine. Dialing UK numbers works fine. Dialing a number in a country not in the "Unlimited Long Distance Pack" works fine. Dialing a US toll-free (1-800, 1-888, etc.) number appears to work - I don't hear any ringing tones, but I do hear the message from the other side of the line. It seems that only dialing US non-toll-free numbers has this issue. But here's the kicker: if I put my SIM in a different phone, it works without an issue. What can cause this strange behaviour? ---------- **Edit:** Turning VoLTE off solved the issue. Then I tried WiFi calling, and it exhibited the same issue. So it looks like a VoIP issue (as @Robert suggested in the comments). I now have a workaround, except that I cannot use it when I don't have 3G connectivity. The question is whether it can be solved in a better way, either on my end or by the provider. ---------- **Edit 2:** I had a chat with Telus tech support. Apparently it is a known problem that affects several phone models on their network. There’s a workaround: pausing and resuming the call restores the sound (for that call). They opened a ticket for me too, so maybe a permanent solution will be found.

WiFi Calling is not reliably available on my Android phone. Sometimes it disappears and requires turning airplane mode on and off to re-appear. Rarely a phone restart may be required. It is also unreliable when changing between, for example, home and work WiFi. The networks are different, both good quality, but frequently WiFi calling will work in only one of them. Any ideas what might be causing this? The issue appears on two Xiaomi phones I have, same carrier. Phones are Redmi 9C NFC and Redmi Note 8 Pro.

I don't know why but sometimes the setting for wifi calling gets turned off. The phone is rooted but I don't think that should make a difference. I was wondering if there's a way to use Tasker to help somehow, even just having a widget to turn it on would be better than having to go to the settings each time. How can I use Tasker to turn on wifi calling, does anyone know the shell command to do it?

I have a Samsung M33 5G . I use 2 sims . After factory resetting my phone wifi calling works well on both the sims . But soon after the sim 2 stops using wifi calling. My sim 2 is jio 5g sim. Video I tried different methods even aeroplane mode , turning sim on and off ,restarting the phone , also swaping the sim slots of both the phones , it still doesn't work.

Does Android support WiFi calling using cellular data of 2nd SIM? When I travel I don't want to use the pricey roaming for my home SIM card (first), but I would like to make and receive call with my home number. I usually get a local sim card (second) and use it as data SIM card. It would be perfect to use cellular data from second SIM card to make calls (travel/local) with first SIM card (home). I'm using a Google Pixel, but I'm asking in general for Android.

Is there any way I can disable the radio of SIM2 so I can only have 1 active SIM and 1 WiFi calling? Can I use ADB to achieve this, or anything else that doesn't need root or bootloader unlocked?
