Asking here because it was originally posted to Super User where it was closed due to the mod considering it an Android device.
My fire department recently purchased a TV with the intention of using it to monitor things like calls, call responses and weather. For obvious reasons, this TV needs to stay on 24/7/365 (aside from things like updates or temporary power drops).
Now for the problem, this is an Insignia model ns-55f301NA22 and is an Amazon Fire TV (not using a FireStick, it is a Fire TV). From research I have done on Amazon forums, this TV cannot be kept on 24/7. Apparently while you can shut the screensaver off, eventually the TV will go into a power saving or shutdown mode. Does anyone have suggestions on preventing this TV from going into power saving mode?
We would really like the screen to stay awake at all times, but if absolutely necessary, we would be willing to have it set to come on with motion activation or something of the like.
Edit to add: our call information is sourced from a website which can run through the TV’s browser. The website does have graphics that rotate through a couple different screens.

I have a specific app that I sideloaded an old version (but is also on the app store). I'm worried that if I have auto-update on it will update to the app store version. Optimally I'd like auto-updates on for all apps except for the one I sideloaded. Thanks!

Of course, before uninstalling Audible, I'm deleting data and cache. Also, when I look for Audible in the Amazon Appstore, there's no result and it says by voice, "You're already an Audible member".
Is there a working version of Audible for Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max? Anyway, I just would like to be able to use Audible as I do with my phone.

I would like to know if is it possible to resize the USB partition used as internal storage so i canuse the rest of the USB as external storage without having to format the whole USB?
Hope someone can help.
Thanks in advanced. :)

When following the tutorial to disable the annoying 20 minute Amazon Stick sleep timer and using the method that changes the sleep time value in the core shell, you might not be able to connect to the amazon stick using adbLink with the error: Device unauthorised press refresh or see help.”
The tutorials that you will find will be completely useless, they will be a horrible video of the developer pressing the refresh ADB button, and a badly written developer tutorial that tells you to delete some files somewhere on some device.

adb install upload location/cache
In such cases when performing `adb install` fails, where does the uploaded APK end up and does it get removed automatically? I'm trying to workout if there is a cache somewhere that I should be removing after successful/failed installs to save space (without uninstalling the actual app)?

I have an Amazon Fire TV stick, and I'd like to mirror my Samsung Galaxy S5's display to it.
**It works fine with my old Galaxy S4** (just tried it right now), but I cannot get it to work with my Galaxy S5: The "Screen Mirroring" option just does not seem to be available anywhere on the phone.
It's a non-rooted Samsung Galaxy S5 with the latest OTA update (Marshmallow) installed.
---
**What I've tried:** I already googled for
s5 marshmallow screen mirroring missing
and tried the following recommendations:
* Pull down the notification shade, click Edit and activate the Screen Mirroring option. On my device, *there is no such option*.
* Click "Quick Connect" on the notification shade and register the TV stick as a TV device. Tried that, but the only option I have is to *"Share content"*. It does not offer to share my screen.
Here are two a screen shots as proof. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious...
