If I "swipe down to reject", will caller get a chance to leave voicemail?

A few times a year someone who isn't in my address book might call me, but every day I get several spam/scam calls. So basically anytime I see a plain number, I swipe down to make my phone stop ringing. I've been assuming this sends the call straight to voicemail (so that if it is legit they can leave a message) but it strikes me that "rejecting" a call might hang up completely on the caller. What happens when I "swipe down to reject" a call from the homescreen? Is there a way I can quickly ignore a call while still leaving the other party a chance to wait for it to go through to voicemail? This is a fairly stock phone, an "Android One" Moto x4 bought from Google Fi but it does have some extra Motorola tentacles on it. (I'm also interested in doing this automatically, but only if it uses a built-in feature and **not** some random app that *you* happen to trust, sorry.)

How to block number that ends with specific digits?

I have a Galaxy Note 8.0 N5100 tablet which is updated to the latest version of Android (4.2.2) using the following official ROM from SAMMOBILE . My problem is even when I deliberately reject someone's calling, there's a notification shown like this: > missed call notification This is really annoying for me because I have put someone in my auto rejection list, but whenever he calls, this notification is shown. I did factory reset, and now the problem is fixed. But can anyone help me pointing what was wrong? Is it because of the Android update?

On my Samsung Galaxy SIII Neo there is a neat feature where when you receive a call you can type on a predefined text message to send. I wonder whether the following scenario can be achieved on Android phones: - The user is away from the phone, perhaps having a shower or working out at the gym. - The user (sets up and then) selects a predefined text message (saved in a list of predefined text messages). - The user specifies that whenever a phone call is received, the corresponding text message will be sent to the caller's phone number automatically (and this could be set up either for everyone or just for a few phone numbers the user wants to share this info with). If a caller rings twice from the same number, there would also be an option to send the SMS only the first time (so as to not have some malicious user deplete all your SMS credit).
