However when I connect my phone to the PC it doesn't give me a notification about "USB connected". It only charges the phone (that means it's connected). ---------- How I activate USB host mode : su insmod /system/lib/modules/ehci-hcd.ko or by using Module Loader App . ---------- How I tried to deactivate USB host mode (which failed): su rmmod ehci_hcd and when I list the mods using lsmod it returns that ehci_hcd mod isn't there My question here is how can I deactivate the mode in a way that USB Mass Storage would work? ---------- **NOTE:** I saw USB Mass Storage Not Working question and it doesn't work.

I've recently installed the usb host package and some time then I successfully activated the usb host mode. after that I needed to format a flash drive using ONLY my phone. my phone doesn't recognize thumb drives, but I mount them on /mnt/sdcard/data folder. So I wanted to know if there's any command in the terminal emulator that can format a usb drive. **NOTE:** I've already tried "mkfs" command it doesn't exist,I won't accept answers telling me to format it on my PC.

I have a Huawei u8160 with CWM 5.0.2.8 .I have tried to flash cm10 using CWM 5.0.2.8 but it boot loops.I have waited for 20 minutes for it to boot ,but it didn't. I've seen this discussion about cm10 boot looping and I did flash it using the same way that worked with him ,boot looped.And this discussion too ,but CWM 6 isn't compatible with my phone. So, I am asking here ,What can I do to make it boot or it's not compatible?
