How can I import an [ICS file](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ICalendar) into S-Planner on my Galaxy S7 ? An ICS file is an exported calendar from another application. Btw: I know how to use Google calendar and then sync S-Planner with it but I definitely don't want to merge Google calendar with S-Planner calendar. The calendar I want to import into S-Planner is an independent calendar. If S-Planner cannot import an ICS file, an alternative would be to have a Google calendar imported (not sync'ed) into S-Planner. Thanks.

No calendar notifications from old phone events after switching phones

I recently switched from a Wiko LENNY (don't laugh, it was my first phone) to a Samsung Galaxy S7. When I tested notifications at first they seemed to work, but my phone keeps missing events. I've come to the conclusion that __I only get notifications for events created on the Galaxy but not for those created on my old phone__. I currently have both the Samsung and the Google calendar app installed on the Galaxy and both behave in the same way (either both or neither send a notification). I also made sure that "Notify on this device" in Google Calendar is checked. I can see all the events I missed on my new phone (so the cloud syncing must have worked) and they all had notifications set for them. In fact, when I boot up my old device __I DO get notifications for all the events I missed__ via the built-in calendar app. So: How can I receive notifications for events created on my old out-of-use phone on my new phone?

I have tried to disable my S Planner because I use an alternative calendar app. Now that I have turned off notifications I get the same notification constantly (reappears almost instantly after cleared) informing me that I have disabled notifications. Yes, a notification from the app to let me know I have disabled notifications. Face palm and wtf. Probably the most annoying thing I have ever encountered on Android. The indestructible Message Reads: "S Planner noti. not shown To receive notifications from S Planner, tap SETTINGS, go to App info > Permissions, then allow the following permissions: Calendar" I have disabled everything all permissions, notifications, default settints, stopped the app, even restricted its use to wifi. I have tried to do my due diligence and look for a post that answers this question but could not find it, if such a post exists kindly link to it. Thanks
