never cared much for this one way or another, until Firefox last update changed the status bar to white, of all colours.
now it really bothers me. my Firefox theme have darker navbar, like the branding on the desktop. they used white navbar on android now for the misguided reason of stealing chrome's look. I think the older darker navbar differentiates the browser UI from the page, and thats good from a usability point of view.
the correct fix for this will be for themes to select what Firefox paint the status bar too, so it doesn't look too weird with status bar in white with address bar in black.
but until then, is there any option to disable apps setting the status bar colour? (doesn't matter if per app or globally. consistency is good UX)

I have no idea whether this question is on-topic or off-topic here, because it is related to problems with an Xposed Module. Moderators, please tell me if this is off-topic or not.
I'm running on an AOSP-based Jelly Bean 4.2.2 ROM, rooted and having Xposed Framework. I have GravityBox, Tinted Status Bar, XBlast Tools, etc. and many other modules installed on my device, including the Monster UI module, which themes my device framework to make all apps look like having Material design (checkboxes, progress bars, ripple effects, etc).
I have applied a system-wide Material design colour scheme, including dialog boxes and action bars for apps which were using Holo themes, all through Monster UI. On top of that, to get the full Lollipop effect, I have used the Tinted Status Bar module to tint the Status Bar according to the app's Action Bar colour. When I launch any app's main activity, it works fine, and tints the Status Bar accordingly. But, when I switch back and forth across various activities in the app, the Status Bar gets tinted White, and sometimes that makes the Action Bar turn white too, rendering the text/icons which both were supposed to display, invisible.
How do I fix this ?
Note : All modules work perfectly, and none are conflicting with each other. I checked MANY times for any such conflicts, but there were none. Disabling other modules too didn't work out.

I've recently installed xposed for only one reason. To get tinted status bar. Tried flat style colored bars but doesn't worked. Then I downloaded application called tinted status bar which was not available on Google play. After that, as required, rebooted my phone. It worked like a charm. But when I tried to open Google play, it tells me no connection. I double checked my WiFi and it was working. I thought that it can be fixed by clearing cache but nope. Then, I came on a point where I disabled tinted status bar, rebooted and uninstalled it. After that, Google play worked. I don't know what happened. But can you tell me that is there any way to use both the above listed app without any error?
Please reply soon.
Device:- Micromax a064
ROM: on stock but rooted
Android version:- v4.4.2 (KitKat)
Thanx for your attention and if any other details is required, comment it.

For whatever reason, Google thinks that it makes sense to bring out the navigation and notification bars along with the intrusive annotation that cannot be manually dismissed, then leave the bars there dimmed to black for the remainder of the video covering up a portion of the frame.
This usually occurs when there is some annotation that appears.
My question is, how can these bars be removed?

Is it possible to remove the tint over the status bar color in lollipop? Currently, the bar color will change to a slightly darker version of the app's color.
Example of how it is now:
I would like it the be the same color as the rest of the app, no darkening.
EDIT:
I've managed to modify Lolistat to color some apps the same color, my dilemma now has two parts: White status text on white text bars and the apps which Lolistat doesn't touch (ones with predefined colors)
Two working apps:
