How do Music.app and ID3 differ regarding copyright notice?

eyeD3 does not show it for either song file.
exiftool shows it for both with a tag name of "Copyright"
I have more than half of an audio editing task automated, and I'd like to script adding the copyright notice, instead of pasting it in manually. exiftool can’t write to MP3 files, and eyeD3 doesn't have copyright in its options. I’d also like to have Music.app display the notice for all files.

But what is that License? Is it a patent or is it copyright? What kind of protection does the license include?
At what point do these protections actually limit use?
I am considering Radiohead's Fitter Happier song for instance.

I have used this [iTunes API](https://rss.itunes.apple.com/en-us) to display the top charts in my app but recently I received an email from Apple about the complaints that [Recording Industry Association of America](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recording_Industry_Association_of_America) (RIAA) want to take my app down because of the infringement of album cover artwork. I have seen a lot of others apps are showing the artwork, like:
- [iMusic](https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/imusic-mp3-music-player-playlist-manager-unlimited/id1061546531?mt=8)
- [Music Player & Unlimited Songs 4+](https://itunes.apple.com/my/app/id1034709839)
and many more.

While submitting a new app to the App Store I got this question: "Does your app contain, display, or access third-party content?".
Can I answer yes to this question and still submit an app?
Does answering yes mean that I have to show confirmations from the creators of the third-party content that I can use it in my app?
If for example my app is Twitter - would I have to answer "yes" in this case?
If so, how could I prove that I have the rights for all content published in the app?

Using 'scrat' name in a web app
Is there any problem that I may have in the future if I use the name 'scrat' in an web app for App Store? For example 'Scrat Store' or something similar? Since the name 'scrat' is the name of an Ice Age character and obviously is trademarked.

An iOS app we're making has features which will work only with certain Apple devices. Can we mention them specifically as “iPhone”, “iPad”, etc. or should we use generic terms, e.g. “compatible smartphone”, “compatible tablet”? This would be text in the app itself, e.g. a button labelled “Connect to Your iPad”.
The guidelines indicate separate rules for publications depending on the target, e.g. “iPhone®” within the US, but “iPhone” with a separate credit section outside of the US. But does an app count as a publication? We can't really guarantee someone outside the US will not download an app targeted to the US, or vice versa.
I guess precedence would help here. Is anyone familiar with an iOS app which uses “iPhone”, “iPad”, etc. liberally in the app itself?

I'm starting to use GarageBand for making music, and I have several songs of my own; but I find xtremly funny mixing loops, so, I have another ones that are only loops mixes.
I know that they are royalty free if you mix the loops, I've read a lot, and I didn't find the answer to my question in the web. (February 2016)
I want to sell the songs, but I don't know if I can put my ©Copyright stamp in the only loop ones.
Can somebody help me understand the licensing terms?

Let's say I used some Apple Loops in a 5 min contest video that's being sold to the contest host (So he can show a reference for this years contest). Might be uploaded on youtube + their site..
I have two apple loops and one of my own samples playing on and off, but the Apple Loops have more playtime and they're at a low volume when people speak and such which is for the most part of the video. They fade out come in again etc.
These two audio files (Apple Loops) including my own, still in the original form/format from Apple and I have only mixed them and arranged in one track.
Other than that, no further self compositions were added.
And if it makes any difference my own sample is played in the middle, so one Apple Loop in the beginning section and one at the end section.
- Is this to repackage them as music beds (Illegal)?
- Or is the "soundtrack" original (Am I cleared)?

I can delete the icon and make my own but I really like that icon for my spaceship-related game.
Can I use that sprite for my game or it will be a copyright infringement?
And what copyright usages are there on it, is it Public and does it have Attribution 3.0 license?
