If I get an app that contains a monthly fee and I delete it, do i still have to pay?

I got a palm reading app, not knowing that it included a monthly fee of $9.99. I have the iPhone 7 so I put my fingerprint in my phone. My fingerprint lets me pay for stuff, download apps, and open my phone. I accidentally gave the app my fingerprint not even thinking and I was so used to it. After I gave the my fingerprint, I saw what I did. I deleted the app right away and viewed its description, it said that it has a free 7-day trial so technically I didn't buy anything, I just allowed it to take money from me every month without my saying.
I don't have a Mac laptop and all the results I searched needed an Apple computer. I tried canceling my Visa card but it wouldn't allow me. I don't want $9.99 being taken away from me every month, is there anyway I can cancel it?

Assume I have a mobile app that provides users with weather forecasts. The app is completely free, with no ads displayed. Separately, I offer an API that provides access to the underlying weather data for €10/month. This API is independent of the app and does not alter its functionality in any way.
To avoid using Apple’s In-App Purchase system, users create an account on my website, purchase access to the API there, and receive an API key.
Now, I want to advertise the API in the app. Ideally, I’d include a button that opens my website for users to learn more. However, I’m unsure if this complies with Apple’s guidelines.
Apple’s App Review Guidelines state the following under 3.1.3(e) Goods and Services Outside of the App:
> If your app enables people to purchase physical goods or services that will be consumed outside of the app, you must use purchase methods other than in-app purchase, such as Apple Pay or traditional credit card entry.
While the API isn’t a physical good or service, it’s entirely consumed outside the app. Does this guideline apply to my case?
I couldn’t find anything more specific in the guidelines. Has anyone encountered a similar situation or have insight into how Apple might interpret this?
**EDIT**
Imagine the app to show one use case for the data and acting as a marketing tool for the actual product (the API).

When I test an internal development build In App purchase subscription durations are greatly reduced according to the table at:
http://help.apple.com/itunes-connect/developer/#/dev7e89e149d
Actual Duration Test Duration
1 week 3 minutes
1 month 5 minutes
2 months 10 minutes
3 months 15 minutes
6 months 30 minutes
1 year 1 hour
In an internal development build when I purchase a 1 month subscription, it actually expires after 5 minutes.
**When I submit a build to iTunes Connect to use with Testflight, will my beta testers see the shortened durations (5 minutes) or will they see the actual durations (1 month)?**

I've been trying to create in-app purchases for the last few hours but every time I do, App Store Connect says "An error has occured. Try Again". I was able to create in app purchases yesterday but now this error is showing up.
I've tried some of the solutions for related errors. I've tried to use incognito, switched browser from Chrome to Safari and even switched from Mac to laptop but this error still persists.
Does anyone know a solution to this?

I have an app that is completely web app with monthly subscription. The web app have free Android and iOS apps that are free. But to use them, you need active subscription on the web.
Reading Apple's guideline 3.1.1
> If you want to unlock features or functionality within your app, (by
> way of example: subscriptions, in-game currencies, game levels, access
> to premium content, or unlocking a full version), you must use in-app
> purchase. **Apps may not use their own mechanisms to unlock content or
> functionality**, such as license keys, augmented reality markers, QR
> codes, cryptocurrencies and cryptocurrency wallets, etc.
As far as I understand it, it means no unlocking via app itself, but is fine using web app to do so. Am I correct?
Will showing users "Your subscription on your Business account have expired. Please contact your business administrator for renewal" on let us say a modal dialog and clicking "OK" Exits the app be okay?
I think it is not clear and if not there yet, Apple should clarify how SaaS with mobile add on should work. If it is already somewhere, I would appreciate someone linking it.

I am still wondering if there's a big archive of all and old IPA files that was on AppStore long years ago.
Because most of 32bit games is deleted from AppStore after iOS 10-11 release.
I saved some of them from my purchases sections, but not all of them is available for download from there. I don't understand why.
Isn't it possible to "catch" Apple server link, where it stores all IPA versions of games for certain iOS versions? It would be great, because current ways to install older version of apps (or deleted apps even) are so difficult.
That's sad, because there are ton of various iOS games that lost forever due to Apple strict applications rules etc, due to 64bit games later.
I don't have many apps in my purchases list, and of course I can extract them, but I can't decrypt them, I don't understand how to do it, to share it with anyone. Thanks!
P.S.
Some games included inapp purchases. Because of games being so, so old, now server doesn't work at all, and you can't buy anything, because server not responding, and Apple server too.
I don't know also, how to bypass it to unlock content.

Google allows to change the minimum threshold (i.e.: 3.000€) and also to postpone the payment till 1 year.
This is very useful for starting indie studios in countries with a bad entrepreneur tax policies. Even a small invoice will force the studio to pay 600€ taxes per month to remain legal.

We are currently working on a Hardware-As-A-Service model in which we are going to sell our hardware products with a monthly subscription.
The customers will first buy this subscription from our website and when they receive the hardware, they will have to use the application on the App Store in order to login with their credentials and be able to control the hardware. If for any reason the subscription is not renewed the application will block the access to the customer and therefore they won't be able to use the product.
Our app doesn't have premium services, however the hardware and app are not usable without the subscription. The question here is, is it a must to have an In-App Purchase through the application or can I just rely on the website to manage the subscriptions?
Thank you for the help.

I am hoping for an option where the child can browse the app store and download ("Get") free apps, but not be able to download/buy apps that cost money.
Am I missing something, or is that not possible? And if not, why doesn't Apple offer that? I want my kid to be able to, say, hear about a new game from their friend, download ("Get") it for free, and play it without me having to be involved. But I don't want them to be able to buy an app or make in-app purchases.

I always knew that Apple has commission from paid apps, but I only just found out this applies to inapp purchases as well. Due to this, many apps raise the price of their inapp purchases on appstore so that they do not lose revenue when compared with other platforms where they sell these services. This obviously worries me as I do not want to spend more money than I have to and I want to know, when does the commission apply so I can try to avoid it as much as I can.
Examples of this:
YouTube premium - costs 13$/month on iPhone, but 10$/month everywhere else - 30% extra
Twitch Subs - cost 6$/month on iPhone, 5$/month everywhere else - 20% extra
Spotify premium - costs 7.3€/month on iPhone, but 6€/month everywhere else - over 21% extra
I do not know any other examples than this, but I am sure there are many, because not everyone is willing to take a 30% revenue cut.
My questions are:
1. **Does this apply on shopping apps like Aliexpress, eBay, Wish or not?**
2. **Where else does this apply?**
3. **What should I avoid paying for through an iOS app and rather pay for through my PC?**
I mean I pay monthly for many things. If I slapped an extra 20% on only half of them, I would be paying quite a bit extra! Say you pay for YouTube premium, 2 Twitch Subs and a Spotify Premium, which would total to 20$ and 6€ (about 27.5$ total) per month, but through iPhone it would cost me 25$ and 7.3€ (about 34$) per month, which is almost 7 dollars per month, I mean thats almost enough for another membership somewhere.

As you may already know, Spotify started sending out emails to its customers to stop subscribing to the Premium account through iOS App Store's In-app Purchase mechanism (which costs $12.99) and subscribe using Spotify website (which costs $9.99).
The reason behind this difference is that Apple charges 30% of the
purchase price
as its noted here . The purchase price of Spotify Premium through App Store is $12.99. But this doesn't make sense to me. 30% of $12.99 is approximately $3.9 so Spotify will be making $9.1 instead of $9.9.
Is the 30% calculated after the developer states its intended price? i.e. Spotify says that it wants to earn $9.99 with each purchase. Apple says fine, I'll charge $12.99, have $3 (which is 30% of $9.99) for myself and you can have the remaining $9.9. (I don't believe this is the case.)
Or Spotify is actually selling its Premium account cheaper through App Store? What I mean is that in order to earn $9.99 per purchase, one should charge approximately $14.28.
Can someone please clarify the situation? Thanks.

I have an App that sells subscriptions to access video content (similar to Netflix). When I tried to launch with a third party payment processing tool, Apple blocked my app until I've integrated In App Purchase and completely removed the third party payment processor.
A competing app offering the same exact service, however, has launched with In App Purchase. On a later update, the competitor removed the In App Purchase option and replaced it with a third party payment processor.
The competing app, according to App Store rules, is in violation of removing In App Purchase despite selling a purely digital service.
How can I report the competing app to Apple so that they would level the playing field? The competing app to have a 30% price/cost advantage as they don't have to pay the Apple Tax.
Any answers truly appreciated <3

On iPhone and iPad, I can restore the contents, but for some reasons I couldn't on MacBook Air.
I use the same Apple ID and same Rosetta Stone login account.
So I wonder if the in-app purchases are not shared between iOS and Apple Silicon MacBooks, or if it depends on each app, or others.
