I want to select text (which copies itself to the clipboard with the Auto Copy extension of the Chrome browser) and automatically reads the selected text while I am selecting several texts and reads the list of the texts that I was selecting? I'm looking to download the reading list I've been populating from iOS (I think this is stored in iCloud), preferably in CSV format. Is this possible? I don't mind getting it in another format, but I'd prefer to get it from the web (I couldn't find iCloud's online interface, is that still a thing?) and not from iTunes.

MacOSX contextual menus allow me use Pocket [Formerly Read it later] to archive all, and also read, some of the enormous amounts of content that I come across daily on my browser of choice - Safari. On iOS [iPad/iPhone] however, the native 'Add to Reading List' feature for Safari is the most tightly integrated option when 'long-clicking' a URL in many different apps, like Mail [all newsletters with links]. This has caused a lot of grief for me as half on my links are saved to the Safari Reading List, and half to a Read-it-later service like Pocket. Consolidating it in a seamless way when using iOS is a challenge if you wish to avoid opening the webpage in safari first, then clicking a bookmarklet, etc. Web-based trigger services like 'IFTTT' are only useful when the content has already made its way to Cloud services that it supports, like Pocket, Evernote etc. One conceptual solution to this problem could be something along the lines of having a script run on my mac that is periodically looking for new items in the 'Reading List' plist file and extracting the url when it sees a new item added [since iCloud syncs iOS and MacOSX Safari]. Perhaps Alfred or some other automator service could then get it to a spreadsheet on the cloud which can then sync with IFTTT and Pocket etc. Maybe this particular design is not technically feasible or outright wrong, but I would be really grateful if someone with more expertise or nous could suggest an implementation or similar solution. My safari's reading list is "one shot", in the sense that if I open a URL it gets deleted, so I can just read it once. But some articles are long and I read them in 3-4 times. I’d like manual removal only from my reading list using safari on macOS. Is this how reading list is designed, that links disappear when you read them?

I'm using Safari 13.0.1 on macOS Mojave 10.14.6. I can add the current web site to the reading list by pushing the sharing button and then selecting *Add to Reading List*. Now I want to that **without** opening the page first. So the context menu of a link in Safari has a *Share* menu entry, but there's no *Add to Reading List* in its options. In *System Preferences* - *Extensions* - *Share Menu*, *Add to Reading List* **is** enabled. But it still doesn't show in a link's *Share* context menu. I disabled and enabled *Add to Reading List* to no avail — other entries in there immediately hid and reappeared in a link's *Share* context menu when unchecking/checking them here. So, can I get *Add to Reading List* into a link's *Share* context menu in Safari? If so, how?

In Safari, I have a lot of pages saved in the **reading list**. **How can I backup the reading list to a computer and then access it ?** On a PC, I have a backup of my iPhone. I have explored the backup with iBackup Viewer, free version, on Windows. I have managed to access the open tabs of Safari. But I don't find the reading list.

I am a mobile app dev, so asking something as basic as this is a tad embarrassing, but I just don't seem to understand what I need to do to have my Reading List sync between my Apple devices. I have the sync over Wi-Fi setup on each device, have done this while cabled to my MacBook pro, done a sync, am powered, on the same Wifi, even prayed to the moon, but no syncing being done. When I add some webpage to my reading list (like [Medium articles](https://medium.com/) , I'm not able to read them if I'm offline: I have a error telling my phone is not connected to Internet. According to the [documentation](https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT200294) , pages in the reading list should be accessible offline (I checked Settings > Safari > Reading List > Automatically Save Offline). Is it a bug?

Just updated iMac 2011 model to High Sierra, when I search website it automatically goes into reading. I then have to click that site on reading list to open page as it doesn't open in the normal window as i would expect.

When I put a website through "command/shift/D" into my reading list, that site disappears after a couple of seconds. It happens to every site I'm putting into that list and also tried to restart Safari or my MacBook Pro. But it was no use. How can I solve that problem? One thing to note, I've installed macOS High Sierra just this morning and that problem also appeared today. So, there might be a connection.
