Trying to hide a big scratch on iPhone 6S screen
I've always been a "naked iPhone" kinda guy since I love the design and hate the way cases feel in my pocket. I've always been a "naked iPhone" kinda guy since I love the design and hate the way cases feel in my pocket. I've managed pretty well for the past 6 or 7 years, and even when I DO get scratches I don't really mind. My latest iPhone, though, somehow got a pretty large scratch across the front (and a smaller one above that).
The thing is, I'm worried that I won't be able to trade it back in to T-mobile with a big ugly scratch on the screen. I know there's no way to "fix" a scratch, but I'm wondering if there are ways to lessen it--or at least make it look better. I've googled this several times and come up with things like toothpaste or vaseline, but I've also read that some of these things can make the screen worse.
I've also read that screen protectors can make scratches look better (and I've already ordered one), but when I return it to T-mobile I'll probably have to take that off.
Note: I've included a picture of the scratch(es) below, and the slight blurriness of my iPad camera does make the scratch look even worse. Just keep in mind that it's a big scratch, but not quite as deep and nasty as the picture suggests.

I read a few answers/articles. But that only made the confusion worse.
**Common answers were:**
*No, don't put screen , because:*
1. There is very little gap between Keyboard & Display and adding a screen guard in middle would put pressure on display
2. Adhesive on screen guard could damage the coating on Retina display (anti-reflective coating?)
*Yes, put a screen guard:*
3. It'll prevent dust scratches (dust on keyboard causing a scratch.
4. It'll prevent grease/acid on keyboard sticking to display thus preventing damage to reflective coating.
BTW, 3. already happened to me. I recently got a very tiny dust scratch on my display, which is the reason why I've been thinking of putting a screen guard.
Are there experienced summaries of the risks so I can make a decision on this?

I was cleaning my macbook pro retina's display with Apple's piece of cleaning cloth that came with the macbook in box.
But after I'm done cleaning I noticed weird marks on my screen and they won't be removed with cleaning liquids or even with pressure.
they looks like if the black color of the screen frame was scratched .. but is that even possible ? since its already has a glass layer above it ?!
So anyone know how are those marks appeared ? and how to remove them if possible ?
I hope the images are clear enough

I always handled the device very carefully and I have no idea where this scratch came from. I suspect the rivets near the pockets of some of my jeans.
To make sure that this is really a scratch I polished the screen with a little bit of water and a glasses cleaning cloth. The proposed scratch doesn't go away.
Is there any way to get rid of this sratch?

I just cleaned the screen of my rMBP using my usual kit. A lint free microfiber cloth and my AM screen cleaning fluid .
However there must have been a small particle of something nasty either on the screen itself or on the cloth (I always keep the cloth stored away to prevent this exact issue!) the scratch that is left on the screen is admittedly tiny (~2mm) but it is there, it is bugging me and I would like to get it sorted if possible.
I've been reading up on various methods that might help but nothing definitive.
**Toothpaste!**
The toothpaste method that is often mentioned is unsuitable for the matte Retina display as others have reported that it left the area around where they applied the toothpaste with a glossy effect as toothpaste is actually very abrasive.
**Pencil Eraser**
This method I'm really not sure about on a rMBP screen. There is a write up on how to do this here .
**Displex**
I'm wondering if anyone has tried something like Displex on a rMBP screen?
**Vaseline**
Honestly! I've read this in a few places now that due to the composition of petroleum jelly this can actually "fill" the scratches and more or less hide the fact that there is a scratch in the glass. Vaseline Online
**ScratchPro**
This appears to be a product destined for use on cars but looks like it could well be used on any glass in general. ScratchPro Online
If anyone has any experience with any of the above on a Retina display or any other advice I'd love to hear it. I must admit that I'm shocked at how easy it was to scratch the screen with little to no pressure being applied.
Be careful people!!

My MacBook Pro took a small tumble off of my recliner last night and scuffed the right side from the brick of the fireplace. I just took my case off last week because the case was looking pretty bad and of course, as soon as I take it off it falls for the first time. My Macbook has been kept PERFECT and this little scuff really REALLY bothers me. I know its silly, but I'm a perfectionist and can't get over it! Any experience with repairs on this? I'm not expecting it to be fixed for free, but wondering about a price range etc...

I have a mid-2011 **MacBook Air** (model A1369), whose screen has attracted some unsightly but superficial **scratches**. They look like smudges, but I suspect a layer of coating (or similar) has come off.
Most likely, the scratches stem from **frequent transport** with the screen pressed to the keyboard.
The screen is *not* protected by a glass layer – I hope it has a removable user-facing **plastics film**.
Is there a way to **replace** the **scratched layer** of the screen assembly to get rid of the scratches? I feel confident to do repairs myself and have done similar things in the past.
Here is a sketch of the scratch areas:
This picture is based on a photo. The scratch shapes are correct, but color and intensity are exaggerated for readability.

Though I'm comfortable using either a trackpad or mouse for most tasks, there are some things that I prefer to have the precision of a mouse for. On one such occasion I was traveling with my MacBook, so I decided to toss my Magic Mouse into the bottom of a bag with other loose things. When I took it out, I noticed that the surface got all scuffed up and felt different.
The mouse still works, but the scratches annoy me. Is there any way to remove or minimize them? My biggest annoyance is the lack of consistent friction on the surface of the mouse - it makes performing some gestures harder. I'd like to have the entire surface have a consistent level of friction, and, if possible, have it feel like a new Magic Mouse. Is this possible?

At first I thought it was a software issue so I rebooted the phone. Unfortunately, after a reboot the line was still there on new photographs.
Upon closer examination it appears that the rear lens of my iPhone 5 has somehow become scratched. Is there a way to fix this? Or do I need to just have the phone replaced?

Does iPad mini gets scratched easily without a case?

Does using a transparent screen protector for the face and the back of the iPhone 4 have drawbacks?
I saw multiple videos that the iPhone 4 screen can not be scratched by keys, coins and is even quite resistant to dropping. What are the drawbacks to adding this layer of protection (in general or perhaps for a specific film you have used) so I can weigh whether I wish to use one?
