I have the following 3 devices: 1. a Nexus 7 2. an iPhone 4s 2. a Yamaha RX-473 , which supports airplay All are hooked up over my wifi. I've setup Airplay with the amp and the iPhone, allowing me to watch videos on my iPhone and hear the sound out of the Yamaha amplifier, but I'd love to use the Nexus 7's larger screen to watch youtube videos. Is there any way to wirelessly stream youtube audio from my Nexus 7 to my Yamaha receiver, in the same way that I can using my iPhone? I purchased the AirSync application, but it appears as though that only works for music and video I have on my Nexus 7, not streamed youtube apps, so its not exactly what I'm looking for.

I also want to be able to connect to the internet on my phone (Spotify etc), at the same time. I was going to buy this: Amazon link But I first want to make sure that I can still connect to the internet (through WiFi router) if I am using this. I do not want to route my phone. Thanks.

What I want is to make Google Chrome to use custom video player whenever it wants to playback a video ***Longer story*** My real goal is to stream video content from Android to AppleTV via AirPlay. I found a nice app called *streambels* which is capable of doing that. The only problem is when I am trying to watch video on Google Chrome, I can't stream it so if I could change the default video player would allow me to pass the video to broadcasting app. And life would be so great :)

Is it possible to play music from an Android device to Airplay speakers?

I'd like to play my music, podcasts, pandora, etc. on a Libratone Airplay speaker in my house. I bought the Airplay add-on for DoubleTwist thinking it would let me do this, but it appears to only support AppleTV http://www.doubletwist.com/help/question/what-devices-are-supported-by-doubletwist-airplay/ The reason appears to be that there's no UI to select a device in airtwist. Instead, you have to broadcast your availability and then pick the device from the AirPlay device. Sadly, most airplay speakers do not have a UI to select devices. Is there a way to send music to my Libratone or other UI-less Airplay speakers?

The audio jack hole on my Mac is broken. My Android phone's hotspot is my Internet connection, and I don't have any other WiFi. Is there any way I can have the phone mirror the sound of my Mac? I have already tried Bluetooth, but I use several other Bluetooth devices at the same time, and the Bluetooth sound gets a significant delay after some time. I work with creating subtitles for movies, and therefore that time delay is unacceptable to me. Please note that many of the apps that do this require a WiFi hosted by a third device (router.) I don't have that, and need to do it without it. I know this is technically doable, because when I host a hotspot and connect the Mac to it, an app called AirDroid works fine (without using any cellular data) with a transfer speed of 5 megabytes per second. I'm looking for exactly that kind of connection being used to mirror the Mac audio on the phone. I would even be interested in doing it with a USB cable. I'm interested in minimal delay and fair sound quality. The phone is a Samsung I9305 running rooted stock 4.4.4 with Xposed Framework installed. The Mac is running OS X 10.10.1. I would prefer not having to buy any new hardware.

I want to give my old apple TV to my parents because my dad wants to stream files from his ipad to his tv. 2 Months ago I made the Switch from iOS to Android, 1.5 Years ago the switch from MAc to Linux. So I am now looking for a great alternative to Stream all that Media contents, but at least the Audio/Music from my Android Phone around my small flat (TV, Sound System in Living Room and some small Speakers in my bathroom) Is there a native way to do that, such as airplay in the apple world? Would be great, when the receivers would not be as expensive as an apple TV so less then ~100€ and would also work with pulseaudio (ubuntu) Ah, forgot to mention: It should be weather built in to the core android system or be a future of poweramp to save battery life and not messing around with another daemon.
