I'm using an old S7 Android Galaxy phone. Right now it is using 2.9GB out of it's available 3.5GB of RAM just with the apps I have open.
I'm worried that my phone doesn't have enough ram to use the headphones.
Do the ear buds really require 1.5GB of RAM to operate?

I'm going to be attending an event as a representative of a semi-professional podcast.
I will be interviewing several people but, it is a long, busy event with no area for formal interviews, so I will be using my phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 9) with an external microphone to save space.
In discussion with the podcast host it was suggested that we try to set up a "live feed" so that he can give any input during the interview.
The "live feed" isn't too much of an issue as I am capable of streaming content from my phone.
My main concern is being able to hear him over the crowd, usually a Bluetooth earpiece would solve this.
However, I'm not sure if an external microphone plugged into the headphone Jack port would override the earpiece as the microphone.
Does anyone have any experience using both a Bluetooth earpiece and a Jack microphone simultaneously?
If nobody has tried this before, is it even theoretically possible?

I'm looking for a bluetooth earphone set, or a device compatible with it, so that I can control the music (play/pause & next/previous) without actually touching the phone.
Is there any hardware that does this? The reason is, I'm getting home from work, in a crowded bus, standind, trying to hold on with one hand, and the other hand cannot reach into phone, unlock the screen, find the next button and press it. It's too hard :)
Or any way to use the volume button for previous / next ? This would be much cheaper, and fancier :)

Is it possible to change which output the audio is played through?
Is it possible to reroute audio (i.e. music) through the phone earpiece instead of the speaker? I've searched this site and Google extensively and haven't found anything yet. If it matters, I'm on the HTC Evo 4G LTE (Sprint). I'm also rooted and have CM10.1 on my phone.
