**Summary**: I want to stream Google Play movie from Android to HDMI/VGA/Composite TV, possibly through laptop. I have no idea whether it's possible or not but I'd really love some insight from some more knowledgeable people on. More in depth: I have a Galaxy S5, unrooted, that I absolutely love. First smart phone, I've been living off of a talk/text only phone previously. I also recently came home for the holidays to discover that my sister hasn't seen the Lord of the Rings! I figured I'd be smart, and use my Google Play account (with all three extended editions) to stream it through my laptop, and laptop to TV. Well, the internet here is very poor, I guess my parents get about .6 MBps? Anyways, video streaming kept buffering/loading, so I tried to move over to my phone, which has all three already downloaded into internal storage. Couldn't find a way to stream from phone to TV, the USB port wasn't gonna work. I don't have an adapter, but I do have my laptop. I tried pulling the downloaded .wvm file from the phone, but because yay DRM, that's a no go. I've done some searching, and while the AndroidScreencast project seems promising, it says it refreshes at about 5 FPS, so not very good for media streaming. So I have a phone, a laptop, and a TV. I can connect the phone to the laptop by USB or Bluetooth. Laptop to TV via HDMI or VGA. Is there any way I can play the movie on my phone, have it feeding the video to the TV/laptop, and then to the TV?

Google Play Movies is available and works on other devices in my region (UAE) except mine. The app itself gets constantly disabled automatically on its own and does so no matter how many times I re-enable it, without displaying anything else other than that annoying error. I have tried reinstalling and clearing the cache and data of the app, I also tried VPNs and none of it has solved the issue. Is there any solution for this?

In Google's native "Play Movies & TV", the app that plays your movie and TV content purchased from the Play Store, is there any way to queue up something to play next, or an option when watching a TV series to have it automatically play the next episode? Maybe I've been spoiled by the Netflix app, but I was playing a TV series I had downloaded for my son on the Chromecast through a Nexus 7 tablet, and I kept having to manually select an episode to play once one was finished. Sort of annoying since each episode was only ~10 minutes long. I couldn't find any option for what I want but maybe I am missing something?

Where does the movie downloaded from "Play Movies & TV" get stored in external SD card?
I recently bought and downloaded a movie from "Play Movies & TV" application. It is not automatically detected by any other video player. So, where does the movie downloaded from "Play Movies & TV" get stored in external SD card?

I have a Galaxy Tab S running Android 5.0.2. I also have a 32GB SD card installed. Supposedly I should be able to set Play Music and Play Movies to download to the external card, but those options are not available for some reason. In Play Music Settings, I see the **Storage location** option, but it's set to "Internal (on this device)" and it is disabled (greyed out); tapping does nothing to change it. In Play Movies, there is no option at all in Settings nor when I tap to download a rented or purchased movie. I see plenty of referneces online about people being able to set the storage location for both apps, as of Android 4.4 and above, so I'm confused why I can't get it on my Lollipop 5.0.2 tablet. I've confirmed that I can write to the SD card; I've done so via the Android File Transfer app from my laptop, as well as using the Samsung My File app installed on the tablet. Update: I just noticed that this happens only for *some* of the user profiles on the device. The "owner" profile can set the storage locations to external (SD card) but no other user profile can.

Transferring a downloaded film from Nexus 7 to Nexus 10

I recently got a Nexus 7 (this year's model), and I can't seem to be able to add movies to it properly. I dragged a bunch of directories, each containing a video file and a subs file to the Movies directory in /sdcard, but they aren't recognized properly by the default movie player (Google Play Movies). Instead, they show up in the gallery. The formats are either mp4 or mkv (x264 with ac3 or aac). Where should the files go so they don't show up in the gallery and do show up in the movie player?

Google Play movie rental errors as it says my device is rooted (it is not)
I have a standard Galaxy S3. I have rented and downloaded Movies from Google play before however now it is saying: > Downloads aren't supported on rooted devices (error 44) However my S3 is not rooted. All software is update to date. I have cleared the cache but this does not solve the issue.
