Is that a way to erase all data on my phone without factory reset?

(I have asked about it here , if you want more details) As there isn't even a factory wipe option in the recovery mode, it seems it is not usable again, so I have bought a new phone, and I am thinking what to do with my old phone. My old phone was my primary phone and it has all sort of important data in it (e.g. work email, bank login, etc) I have backup on those data, so I don't mind losing those data, but I cannot risk having those data exposed. If I would like to sell my old phones for parts, to make sure those data will not leaked in case the buyer is skillful enough to repair it, is there a way to wipe those data before I sell it?

I was using my Nokia 5.4 phone, but suddenly it restarted itself and cannot get past the "Nokia" screen (normally it would fade out and get into the Android system). I have tried restarting my phone many times and the problem persist. I am able to get into the Fastboot Mode and Recovery Mode, but there is no option to factory reset at all. In the recovery mode, there are only 3 options: 1. Reboot system now 2. Enter fastboot 3. Power off And there is no option to factory reset in fastboot as well. In fastboot, there are 4 options: 1. Reboot system now 2. Enter recovery 3. Reboot to bootloader 4. Power off And in bootloader, still no factory reset. There are 4 options: 1. Start 2. Restart bootloader 3. Recovery mode 4. Power off I have already bought a new phone, but I would like to see if there is anyway to save this phone. All my important data is already in the cloud, so data loss is not a problem, and I may try some riskier method. Is there anyway I can make this phone work again?

Do 360/3D videos in Chrome and YouTube app work on a phone without gyroscope?
I'd like to buy a new phone, I am considering a Nokia 5.3. I just noticed in its specification that it doesn't have a gyroscope. I wonder if embedded 3D/360 videos in Chrome ( and such videos in YouTube app ) would work on this phone ( + Google cardboard ).

My SD card on Nokia 5 suddenly stooped being recognized one day and all my apps and data was lost. I switched off the phone and reinserted the card, but no use. Then I took the card for recovery with a data recovery company - Stellar Data Recovery in Gurgaon. They inspected and told me that all they can see on my SD card is garbage and it could be encrypted or its logical drive could have completely been wiped. I had encrypted my phone but I haven't encrypted my card. Any pointers on what should I do next? The data is very precious to me and I need to recover it. This is a SanDisk SD card 64 Gb, class 10 used with a Nokia 5 with Android 9 version Update: Thanks for all the answers people. The data recovery company I gave my disk to were unable to proceed with these steps because I suppose they were not as technical to try these steps. So, they returned my card stating that my card is encrypted and also has physical damage so they can't do anything. That left me heartbroken because this data is important to me. I am planning to do all these steps myself. 1. Meanwhile, can I insert another card in my still-unrooted phone, which still has the old corrupted card as an adoptable storage in its settings? 2.Can this new card be made adoptable? Will doing so make the old card's vold keys disappear from the phone? 3. Can I make this new card partly adoptable and partly removable through disk partition on Android 9? Will this also affect my old card's vold key? I just need to know that I will not permanently lose all my old cards vold keys if I insert a new card and make it adoptable as well. Thanks.

I have Nokia 5.1 Plus with Android Pie. Now, since a few days, I'm facing this irritating problem. When the WhatsApp is open, it works fine. You receive push notifications, and messages are not delayed. When you minimize it (i.e., open other apps) and leave the phone away, I don't notice any problem for 10-15 minutes. Even when screen is locked, I receive WhatsApp notifications. After 10-15 minutes, WhatsApp kind of freezes. When I try to send message from other phones to my phone, I see nothing. When I use phone and open WhatsApp (which wasn't closed, just minimized), I see it takes 2-3 seconds to fetch pending messages. So it kind of stops. I have removed all battery optimizations settings for this app. Did reset of the app, still can't solve this issue. How can I fix it?

I was using a Nokia 5 and I lost it over the weekend. I have the gmail app stored there that has sign ins to 3 of my emails s*****@gmail.com, r******@gmail.com & r1*****@gmail.com Unfortunately I have no access to the last mailing address because apparently I forgot the password. It was a fairly new account so when I try to recover the password, google cannot verify its my account. The account is linked to my local bitcoins account therefore I cannot log in and have access to my bitcoins. I have the following question, if I get a new phone and restore android, will the gmail app appear with the accounts logged on? and if not, is there a way for me to find out the password? I am not sure if this is allowed but I will spare some few bitcoins to the person who can help out.( if not allowed, I will edit and remove this part)

I have recently bought a Nokia 5 and I am quite new to Android. I have entered screen lock/and or start lock and entered a pattern. Acutally, I don't know if I did that one or two times but then I was very new to Android. After some time, I have changed the lock screen pattern. Now I enter that pattern daily many times, but I didn't turn it off for, say, two weeks. Now, after the installation of an update, the phone restarted and asked for a pattern to start Android. The lock screen pattern did not work. Since I entered the pattern too many times wrongly, the phone erased all data and I was forced to reinstall everything. Now I have entered a pattern (for lock screen) once again, and upon restarting the phone, the same pattern unlocked the phone. So the question: **Are lock screen pattern and system start pattern always the same or can the be different?**
