How can you stop your phone from saving contacts to your sim?
I Have a T-Mobile Sidekick 4G. It runs on Gingerbread. I just got my phone and when I first tried to enter a contact I accidentally pressed "Save to Sim" and "Remember This Choice". I really want to save contacts to my phone but it won't let me. How do I un-do this? This is really annoying!

I installed SetCPU on my SK4G today, and for the most part things are running fine and I haven't had any problems.
At first I was getting a lot of lag and my phone kept freezing, so I checked this post and it helped me out a lot.
But I ran into one more problem. My phone keeps shutting off and I have to take out the battery and put it back in order to turn it on again. It's happened twice.
Could SetCPU be the cause of the problem?

Charging / 760max - 456min (ondemand / priority: 75)
Screen Off / 456max - 312min (ondemand / priority: 50)
I should also mention that I don't have a custom ROM or Kernel on my phone. It's just rooted.

I have a Sidekick 4g. This device has a system wide "tick" like sound that plays every time I do various things (click links, click items in list of RSS app, click threads in messaging app etc...) I would really prefer it if my device did not make this sound but the only way I've found to get it to stop is turn the volume all the way down, but then I can no longer hear my ringers.
Does anyone know of a way to eliminate this sound without the need to put my device in silent mode?

I got the calendar apk here , and put it on my sd card then moved it to system/app using RootExplorer, and once I clicked install I got the normal install prompts then a message that said "Application not installed".
How can I fix this? Do I need to reinstall a stock ROM?

T-Mobile Sidekick 4G Keyboard - Tilde and Backtick
I still have a G1. I love it for its keyboard. Nobody, has made a phone with a better keyboard. It has 5 rows and allows me to type the full ASCII range and then some. I still have a G1. I love it for its keyboard. Nobody, has made a phone with a better keyboard. It has 5 rows and allows me to type the full ASCII range and then some. The keys are spaced apart and not easily fat-fingered like the Verizon Droid line of phones. I have been holding out on getting a new phone, waiting for one with a keyboard as good or even better. I had hope in the Sidekick, but upon closer inspection of the keyboard, it does not appear to have a back-tick ` or tilde ~ key. Where the back-tick should be, I see a smiley face.
On Sidekick 4G keyboard, what is the fastest way for me to type a tilde and a back-tick? The person with the least amount of actions to accomplish this goal gets my vote.
