Is it possible to dismiss the PIP player, but keep playing the video's audio in the YouTube app?

Every once in a while, for no discernible difference in my actions, I will have started playing a video on YouTube and then return to the Home Screen or a different app, and the PIP player never loads. The video's audio continues playing and the app context is present in the Dynamic Island (the YouTube icon and animated waveform representation are present). If I pop back to YouTube, and then leave it again, the PIP player always loads from what I remember.
This is obviously some sort of small-time bug, but why does it happen? Is it possible to "dismiss" the PIP player, more than just sliding it into the edge of the screen? Can I specifically control the dismissal and re-invocation of the PIP player?
I know that I can make it almost as wide as the screen, or about 1/3rd of the width by double tapping the player, as well as positioning it into the corners via swiping, and pushing it over the edge so there is only a tab allowing me to recall it; But can I dismiss the player's visual presence entirely but continue playback consistently?

How can I run a YouTube video in Picture in Picture mode on iOS?
On iOS, while watching a video in YouTube app, when I go to the Home Screen, the video stops playing. I found no setting to enable it. I know it is available for Android, but is there a way to do so in iOS? Is there any setting, or a 3rd party app that I can use?

I love using the Picture in Picture feature for use cases like :
* Learning some stuffs, while doing the thing. Not switching windows/apps anymore.
* Binging some shows, movies, while working.
But the thing is, once you missed a thing, you either :
* Close the Picture-in-Picture mode, go back to that app again, and rewind it back (Mac's Rewind and Fast Forward kb shortcuts don't work) (if you happen to not know macOS have a Media Menu bar icon)
* Or click the Media Menu bar icon, and click Rewind Back or Rewind icons.
Check the screen capture here for the demo : https://cln.sh/MDzsof
So is there anyway to control the PiP states/media controls with just keyboard shortcuts :
* Play/Pause
* Toggle PiP on/off
* Hide PiP to the side
* Rewind/Rewind Back
* PiP window placement
* Close the PiP
**Do we have any official Apple documentation regarding kb shortcuts about this?**
***If not, any Siri Shortcuts, Apple Scripts, Applets or app tweaks that can help me with this?***
*PS : to any devs reading, if this solution don't exist yet. This will be a great feature idea for you to solve on your next Mac app.*

Picture in picture with YouTube app on iPhone?

I was surprised the iPhone YouTube app didn't provide [Picture in Picture](https://support.apple.com/en-au/HT207582) support by default:
But [this video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fx5-ZKGQOiA&t=78s) has a *lot* of views and seems to show a simple way (basically go into settings and enable the feature).
However, when following the video's instructions, the option is not available in settings so it cannot be enabled.
The comments on the video indicate similar experiences.
### Note
There is a short exchange in the comments which suggests YouTube Premium may be required, but then suggests that's not the issue (since people who have YT Premium also cannot access the feature):
> I’m ... trying everything and can’t get it
> You need youtube premium.
> I have it

I'm using the TV app on my Apple TV to watch Apple TV+ content.
Whenever I **Pause**, Skip Forward, or Skip Back using the Apple TV remote, a strange icon immediately pops up above the playhead.
- I have never seen this icon when using other Apple TV video apps such as Netflix or Plex.
- I do not seem to be able to interact with the button. Clicking the remote Pauses normally, as if the button was not on the screen.
What does this icon represent? How do I interact with it? Why does it pop up when I pause the TV+ app on my Apple TV?

Are there any MKV video players that feature Picture in Picture?
I'd like to find a modern MKV video player app that supports macOS's new Picture in Picture feature. Note: I'm not interested in replicating PiP functionality, I'm only interested in the actual [Picture in Picture][1] feature. [1]: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT206997

How to get video from webcam in a "Picture in Picture mode"
While recording a screencast with QuickTime, I want to get video from the webcam in small window overlay. I can use photobooth video preview, but it's always too large and has lots of chrome. This would save me having to rely on third party premium apps. What are my options?
