It there a user-friendly way to copy multiple photos from PhotoBooth at once?
For some really stupid reason, maybe this is a bug, if you select multiple photos there (e.g., by using **Shift-click**) and try to copy them (e.g, by pressing **Command-C** or by selecting **menu bar > Edit > Copy**) to a different place outside PhotoBooth, only the single photo is copied to the clipboard.
I can copy multiple photos at once by opening the
~/Pictures/Photo Booth Library/Pictures
folder, but I would prefer a more user-friendly way, that is, without leaving PhotoBooth. Is it possible somehow?
upd.: Yes, this seems to be a bug. [From the Photo Booth User Guide](https://support.apple.com/guide/photo-booth/pbhlp2413768/mac) :
> *Export a photo* or *a video clip:* Select one or more thumbnails, then choose File > Export, or drag the thumbnail to your desktop.
This is exactly what I tried, and if multiple photos selected, this doesn't work. Moreover, if multiple photos selected, **File > Export** is grayed out.

I want to save the beginning and end portions of a Photo Booth video for export.
In other words, I don't want the middle part.
However, Photo Booth seems to only let me select a single portion to save - beginning, end or middle.
Edit: I ended up selecting the beginning, exporting, reverting the trim and selecting the end, then exporting again.
A decent stopgap for me, but obviously not a complete solution since this creates two files, so I won't add this as an answer.

I've tried using both VLC and HandBrake to retrieve this video. It says that its duration is 0 mins and 0 seconds but the file size is 205.4 MB. It is a presentation for my speech class anything helps. [![picture of the error message][1]][1] [1]: https://i.sstatic.net/JajDj.png

I didn't figure out [how to blur the background of a photo booth video recording](https://apple.stackexchange.com/q/412180/290197) , so I record without blurring the background. But blurring the background usually makes videos look much more professional. Example:
What is the quickest and easiest way to record a video from a mac webcam that blurs the background? (preferably using software that comes with macOS, but if not, something free and very light weight is preferred)

The problem is, neither method works for multiple images/videos: if you have n images/videos, you have to drop and drag ***n times***, which, needless to say, is *exceptionally* tedious.
How can multiple images / videos be exported from Photo Booth in one go? (i.e. avoiding manually doing it one by one)?
Note: if there's some work around to access the raw .png's .mov's, then that is just as good - the end result should be some image and video files that can be opened with any standard media viewers/players (not just Photo Booth)

Why does my Logitech C920 camera turn off and on again during recording with Photo Booth?

I have a [Logitech C920](https://www.logitech.com/en-us/products/webcams/c920-pro-hd-webcam.960-000764.html) external webcam connected to my MacBook Air (13 inch, 2020) via a USB Type-C Hub.
I've been using it successfully to record videos using Photobooth until couple of days ago I upgraded the operating system to BigSur 11.1. Thereafter I started to experience following problem: In the middle of a recording, the blue indicator light on the webcam turns off and on again, and in the resulting video there are a couple of black frames.
I thought that maybe some device attached to the USB hub is getting too much power, so I removed all the devices (the mouse and the mobile router) from that hub so that the camera was the only one connected to the hub. This did not solve the problem.
I then downloaded and installed the Logitech settings app and currently I have following settings:
Yesterday I turned off

Auto focus
and it seemed that it helped. However, today I again had those flashes.
I record videos that are between 6 and 15 minutes long. The problem gets worse towards the end of a video.
**What can be the cause of this problem and how can I fix it?**
**Update 1:** [Here](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bNWFdp23fYtuLF0Mtf2cIBrZHTC5nFtt/view?usp=sharing) is a video where between 00:04
and 00:05
you can see how the blue indicator light of the camera turns off and on again.
**Update 2:** Today I tried to record a 10-minute video using the built-in camera and I had the same effect as with the external one.

When I open PhotoBooth, immediately below the live "preview" image there is a strip or bar containing pictures I have already taken. By accident I noticed that this apparently obscured the bottom part of the live image, because when I line up the picture so that the bottom of the image matches the bottom of what I want in the picture, I see stuff below that in an actual capture.
How can I hide this bar and see the full extent of the image that will be captured? I don't see any preferences or options to control this. I tried "Tile Window to Left of Screen" and somehow got into full screen which made the window larger so I could see more of the image but didn't make the photo bar go away, and didn't completely expose the entire live preview.

How do I prevent the mirror-effect in video recordings in Photo Booth?

I have just had a problem today on a 2 year old MacBook Air (which is otherwise in perfect order), running Catalina 10.15.4. Basically, I couldn't get the inbuilt camera to switch on (tried Photo Booth and FaceTime).
A support technician took me through some steps, the first of which was to create a new Admin User account and log in to that to see if Camera would work - it did work. So the problem is associated with my log in account, not the computer hardware.
The next steps were to go back to my log in and reset SMC and NVRAM - we went through these steps, but the camera was still not available after rebooting. The support technician is now suggesting that we migrate all my data to a new user account in order to isolate the software which may be causing this issue, which may take a long time. Just wondering if anyone reading this thread has any other ideas.....thanks in advance

On Snow Leopard, photos taken with Photo Booth were stored in ~/Pictures/Photo Booth. They were individual image files that could be opened with any image editor. After updating to Lion, when I go to ~/Pictures, I see an icon for Photo Booth Library. When I double-click to open, it just opens Photo Booth with the thumbnail strip along the bottom.
Where are those image files stored now? The whole point of them is to be able to use them for avatars, etc. which I can't do if I can't get at the individual files.
