I know how to use the built in screen recording on iOS, but it doesn't display touch inputs by default. Is there some way to enable this?

Due to my poor organization I have 2 simultaneous lectures this semester, at this moment I'm following one on Phone and I record the other one with the Mac (Quicktime and Soundflower)
Is it possible to record Chrome or Safari in the background while doing other things on the screen?
And for my specifical purpose, is it possible to direct the audio of an app on the headphones and the audio of another app to a different output (external speaker or Soundflower to record)?

Is there an app that can allow me to record my face and screen capture my iphone simultaneously and have a two separate video files saved? I'm making a reaction video and I need the face reaction as well as the screen capture. I've tried 'Go Record', 'Record it!' apps that makes the face videos appear on the screen. I'm not looking for that kind of recording app nor using two separate devices to record.
So in short,
1. Is iphone able to record two videos simultaneously?
2. If so, is there an app to do so.
Thanks.

I know how to trim start and trim end of a video or screen recording on the iPhone or iPad and upload to YouTube. But what if there are a few seconds in the video showing my user ID and I hope to blur it out or cut that few seconds out, is that possible inside of iPhone or iPad?
One way is, I can trim the original into two videos. So for example, if the original video is 00:00 to 03:00, and I want to remove 02:00 to 02:06, then I can trim start / end to make video 1 as 00:00 to 2:00 and video 2 as 2:06 to 03:00 and then I have removed 02:00 to 02:06, but now I have two separate videos. Can I still somehow join them or upload to YouTube as 1 video?

I'm trying to record my screen and the audio **only** coming from my Mac.
When I do a screen recording with quicktime, with audio settings: internal microphone, it records the video but with a lot of external noise (like cats).
How do I make sure that the audio of what is being played on the screen (like music being played on my Mac) is recorded in the video file?
I don't care if I'll have to record the screen and audio separately, or plug in earphones etc, I'd like to have a simple answer.
I have already tried the suggestions in these other questions:
- https://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/231427/how-to-record-the-sound-also-in-a-screen-recording-if-the-headphones-are-connect
- https://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/60085/quicktime-screen-audio-capture
Sadly their solutions don't work for me, as my recordings still capture external noises on macOS Catalina.
What software or setup can do this?

I'm having a particularly strange problem where while, yes, I know everyone is upset about this ridiulous "Allow For One Month" prompt:
My system seems to not remember the settings at all for even five minutes. I can set this, reboot the system and it's right back at it.
After some investigation, it appears that the file where this data is kept is missing on my system:

~/Library/Group\ Containers/group.com.apple.replayd/ScreenCaptureApprovals.plist
Has anyone else seen this? Any "proper" workarounds vs brute forcing creation of this plist?

Is it possible to record a Mac's screen while booting or during the initial set-up?
I am wondering if it is possible to record the screen of a Mac or take screenshots of it during its initial setup phase. I hope to accomplish this with the hardware and not use an external camera or video capture device. Can a Mac record it’s own boot process?

We've recently pushed an update for Teams to my userbase and with the switch from the "Classic" version to the "New" Teams users will need to go into System Settings > Privacy & Security > Screen Recording and then manually add New Microsoft Teams to the allowed list of apps.
I was hoping it was something we'd be able to automate through JAMF.
I'm not sure if this is possible seeing as the "new Teams" app needs to be added instead of just toggled on within the Screen Recording section.
Can this be performed in an automated manner (perhaps a scripted command-line tool or profile) to save every single machine from having to perform this manual step?

I have an 8bitdo bluetooth controller that I use to play games on my Macbook with the latest Big Sur. I think since the upgrade to Big Sur, sometimes when I am using the controller Mac OS will break fullscreen to pop up a series of confirmations about whether I want to allow different apps that are currently running to record the screen. I have to click through each one to get back to my game. This happens whether I'm actually playing a game/have Steam open, or if I am just sitting on at the desktop. It happens when I have the controller connected to the Mac and press Select and Start at the same time, or sometimes Select and the Special/Meta button. It doesn't happen every time I press these combinations, I do have to press them multiple times to get the issue to repeat, but it happens very often.
Is there any way to disable screen recording or this "shortcut" or whatever it is? I almost never want to record my screen, so turning off the feature would be fine if possible.

I am using iPad Pro (first gen) with iOS 12.0.1. If I try to record a game, such as Plants vs Zombies using the iOS built in function of screen recording, I found that often there is no audio recorded. Sometimes it is recorded, if I am "lucky".
So I can be playing for 7, 8 minutes, to beat a level, and get ready to post on YouTube, and then found that there is no audio. And then, try for another 7, 8 minutes and see if it is another 7, 8 minutes wasted.
I have also tried: start the screen recording first, and then start the game, or the other way around: start the game first, and then start the screen recording. But neither can guarantee audio is recorded.
How can it be made to work?
P.S. I recorded one clip, and was so happy that I heard the audio while watching the recorded clip of the gameplay, but until about 27 seconds later the audio all of a sudden disappeared. So the recording is again useless. The key point is that the audio can spontaneously disappear.

I have to create a video that is a demonstration on how to draw something on the iPad using Apple Pencil 1.
I have tried recording using QuickTime on the Mac and also the screen recording capability of the device itself and the video does not show a circle to represent where the pencil is touching and neither show circles to representing fingers touching on the screen.
I mean a similarity like "show mouse clicks" when you record from the Mac screen.
Xcode's Simulator does this, but I cannot run the program I need in the simulator because it is a commercial app and the pencil does not work in the Mac.
Don't tell me that there is no solution!

When recording the screen with Quicktime or other software like Camtasia, the screen gets frozen after a few minutes.
I'm recording the second monitor (4k), and after a few minutes of recording, I can see the video doesn't continue to be recorded.
The audio (from mic) continues normally, but the video stays stuck for the rest of the video.
In other scenarios, the video continued, but the mic get noisy.
I noticed it may be related to high cpu usage, considering I'm recording computer programming, and some softwares use more cpu. However, it was not a problem in the past.
It's a macbook pro i9, 6-core, 32gb ram. Shouldn't be a problem I think.
Perhaps it's related to the last update (Ventura).
Any insight/idea would be appreciated.

I am trying to make a video in which I write on a note app and use screen recording to capture it on an iPad Pro. However, the built-in mic makes the audio quality fairly bad, so I am trying to use a headset connected by Bluetooth. When I record, the audio quality isn't improved at all and I suspect that it's because the recording is still using the built-in mic rather than the connected Bluetooth input. I can't find any settings controlling which input device is used.
I also know the headset works and records higher quality audio since I have been able to use it on a Windows computer. Unfortunately I can't do this work on my Windows computer because that doesn't have good enough screen-writing abilities.
Does anyone know how to make screen recording on iPad which uses a Bluetooth input?
