I have a HTC One X , Android 4.2.2, everything worked as a charm, but suddenly my WIFI/Bluetooth functionality stopped working. I cant see any WIFI network and cant turn WIFI on/off. It just shows me the message: 'Error' on the Settings > Wifi dashboard. also I cant enable bluetooth. At Settings > Info > Hardware info it states: Wifi: 802.11 a/b/g/n Wifi MAC Adres: Unavailable. Bluetooth: 4.0 Bluetooth adres: Unavailable. I tried a wifi diagnostic app (Wifi fixer) it states: WIFI_STATE_UNKNOWN I tried the following: * give it a static IP-adres, but I can't reach the advanced settings tab. (Settings > Wifi > Advanced) * Soft and Factory Reset. Because it cant tell me the MAC adres of the wificard/Bluetooth is unavailable. I am afraid that the radio unit is broken. Do you have some suggestions for a fix or how to trace the cause of this problem?

first question here. I was using wifi normally on my phone. Then I turned it off and after some time turned it back again. Since then I can not access the internet. It's showing Connected(no internet access). I tried to set the IP static. It did not work for DNS 192.168.200.1. No matter what IP I set with this DNS it does not work. Then used the 8.8.8.8 as DNS, now it's connected. But it is really slow, and the connection does not seem stable. Every time I have to reload google.com several times just to get the page. The problem is specific to this device only. Other devices connected to the same network are perfect. I tried - Restarting the router - Resetting network settings - Clearing network cache from maintenance mode - Rebooting the device with and without airplane mode My phone is Huawei Y9 2018 with Android 9. Can someone suggest me what should I do? Is this a router issue? Or is this my device problem? I'm new in this area. So my knowledge is not so deep and you might have to explain things a bit more in detail for me to grasp the concept.

Allowing SSH connection to Android Devices with Droidwall installed
I've installed SSHDroid and Droidwall on my Android device. I know that SSHDroid won't work if Droidwall is enabled. Is there's anyway to list SSH connection in Droidwall whitelist? So, I can connect to my Android device via SSH.

I am trying to connect my phone running ICS to my PC running Windows 7 to the internet using Connectify. Everything goes fine except when the phone tries to connect to my laptop wifi hotspot, it gets stuck at obtaining IP address . I tried to set the ip address to static in android but now it says connected but actually the phone is not connected to the internet. As a static IP and DNS1, I set the address provided for the connectify network created in windows. I set the network length to 24 cuz without setting any value for network length, I wasn't able to save the setting in my phone. How can I solve this problem?

I have to restart connectify so that it works fine again, but again I face the same problem in a minute or so. Its not a problem with my device as it runs properly on other wifi networks. Any solution to this??
