Most times the **Samsung** S23+ BT, with LE Audio enabled, connectivity to my **Oticon** Intent hearing aids is great. However, sometimes I think another BT device interferes causing the connectivity to drop (i.e. I can hear the party on the other end but they can not hear me!). I observe the BT icon on my phone is turned OFF due to this interference. As a result, I am forced to either turn ON the BT icon or turn on the Speaker to allow our conversation to continue. But, many times the other party believes a disconnect and calls me back. Very frustrating! Is there someway I can set the phone BT priority highest while paired with my HAs to block any other outside BT interference? Or, is there a Do Not Disturb type setting I can invoke real time to block outside BT interference? Or, is there an App I can install that would address the issue in some way? Any feedback or suggestions would be appreciated.

I am running out of Ideas how to get MTP working _again_... I am simply not getting the dialog again on my android, asking me wether I want just charging, or MTP or Picture mode... **Until most recently, it was easy: Use a USB cable, concect it to my Ubuntu 16.04 Laptop, get the mentioned choice/approval box...** and voilà the Tablet appeared as an MTP device in the Ubuntu ‚file explorer‘ (caja) nicely auto-mounted. * got an Samsung Galaxy S2 tablet * running Android 6.01 * it worked until recently in this configuration I already followed some advice: * I made the developer options visible (by tapping the about device info thrice) * enabled USB debugging (which some sources say, is something to watch out for) * dialed on the phone menu *#0808# → which shows I'am on (o)AP and on MTP + ADB mode just like I should (this radio box btw only holds its state, if USB debugging is enabled) also... * tried different USB ports * tried different cables * tried with another device (MacBook. Thus I have no reason to believe, I messed something up on the host machine OS side... Ubuntu is very stable anyway) * External Store (4kb) under Settings→Applications→“Show System Apps” is on well, one last clue: * Settings → Tethering has the USB switch grayed out „USB cable not connected“. Althoug it clearly is. And I can recharge my tablet through it (otherwise I would have certainly noted...) Device is not rooted. No other glitches. Are there maybe some log files (now that Dev mode is enabled) to check out what might got wrong? Not looked/understood ADB yet. So I couldn't tell you, if that works. Anyway, no dialog to choose upon connecting. I am out of ammo :-( **Thank you for any piece of advice...**

I'm using Nothing phone 3a pro, Android 15, it has USB 2.0. PC System: Windows 10 home edition with last update. Tried to connect it to usb 3.1, 3.0, 2.0, I see the storage of my phone, but when I go into it,and it is empty I rebooted my PC, rebooted Phone. Reconnected it. I gave all the recommendations from “Nothing support.” (change cables, developer settings usb, reset and etc.) Only I didnt do is to reset my phone to factory settings. My old phone Samsung A80 which has USB 2.0 too, still have good connection to the PC. Nothing phone haven't got own drivers. What I did: - Enable usb debugging mode. - Enable the transfer file on phone. - Have screen ON. - I download program which automatically load new drivers, also I update windows, but nothing happened again. - I changed drivers in device manager, delete my device, reinstall drivers. - Also I tried VirtualBox with cleared Windows 10 on same hardware. Got same problem, folders didn’t load. - Also Installed new clear Windows 10 to another SSD on same hardware. Same problem. Any possible solutions? If you need more information, please write your reply.

I've just set up a WiFi router to use with an audio device which is controllable by Android devices through LAN. This router is expected to not have an internet connection - its sole purpose for me is to route the local network and enable the controlling via my Android phone. However, my phone (a Moto G5S, with Android 7.1.1 installed) simply refuses to connect to this router - even though I can perfectly connect to it from a laptop. I even removed my other routers from my phone, to prevent it from jumping to WiFi connections that have internet, but it still doesn't connect to this "offline router". Now, a bit of a plot twist: I did see a notification about the WiFi connection not having access to the internet, but I simply swiped it off. I tried connecting with my wife's Android, and, instead of swiping off the notification on her phone, I clicked it and I saw that it offered the option to stay connected even without internet. However, I can't do this on my Android anymore, since I got rid of that notification. Yeah, I feel stupid, but, in my defense, I had no idea that ability would be only available there. I even tried "forgetting" the WiFi connection and re-entering the password, but it just won't show me that notification anymore. So, any ideas of how to fix this, guys? How can I force the connection to my internet-less router, or, alternatively, how can I force my Android to show me the notification about "WiFi offline" again?

I have created my own DNS resolver for blocking some web pages and I can't figure out how to use it on Android. If I configure the DNS of any other device to use my DNS, it works like a charm (I've tested this both Windows and Ubuntu). I tried configuring it in the Private DNS section of an Android, but it keeps saying "Couldn't Connect". If I use 1dot1dot1dot1.cloudflare-dns.com instead, it works. So, my question is: What are the requirements for a DNS Provider to be configurable in the Android's Private DNS section?

I was using WiFi normally on my phone. Then I turned it off, and after some time, turned it back on. Since then, I can not access the internet. It's showing > Connected (no internet access). I tried to set a static IP. It did not work for DNS 192.168.200.1. No matter what IP I set with this DNS, it does not work. Then I used 8.8.8.8 as DNS, now it's connected. But it is really slow, and the connection does not seem stable. Every time, I have to reload google.com several times just to get the page. The problem is specific to this device only. Other devices connected to the same network are perfect. Can someone suggest to me what I should do? Is this a router issue? Or is this my device problem? I'm new in this area. So my knowledge is not so deep, and you might have to explain things a bit more in detail for me to grasp the concept.

Now when a FTP or HTTP file server is run on the android device, other devices should type that IP to connect to the server. This IP is not fixed. When you switch to another WiFi network or enable hot-spot on android itself, it changes. Is there any way to assign a **fixed hostname** (for example my-pixel) so other devices could use it instead of the IP (like ftp://my-pixel.local:4030)? (I also asked this on Stack Overflow but no answer there)

My only internet connection at present is via a hotspot on Moto G7 (running Android Version 10) connecting via GiffGaff (which runs on the O2 network). I keep the phone data on 3G as 4G seems slower when the network strength is low. I have had a connectivity problem between my phone and my Asus laptop running Win 10 Home (build 19042.1348) for about the last year. Sometimes the connection is fine running at 1-3 Mbps download but frequently it disconnects. I can often get a reconnection by disconnecting and reconnecting my connection to the phone hotspot on my laptop and/or by running Windows' network Troubleshooter. This disconnection happens every 3-10 minutes so having to reconnect 10 times an hour is not unusual. I would be grateful for two things: Firstly if there is an obvious solution I would love to hear it; Secondly I am unfamiliar with this area and would be grateful for a recommendation of diagnostic tools. I emphasise this is a problem of connectivity between the laptop and the phone via wifi. This is not a problem of the network to the phone. Thanks for your time.

I haven't yet come across a situation where factory reset didn't resolve the issue. This one is very intriguing to me as I could not conclude why the phone could stay in the partial flight mode (faded blue). It may be a coincidence, but it happened sometime after the firmware update. However, it doesn't look like a widespread issue to assume it is a bug. I have attached an image that shows flight mode in faded blue. It stays that way until I switch to Wi-Fi calling or remove the SIM card from the tray. I cannot select networks from the settings - "Error while searching for networks." Here are the steps I have taken so far: 1. Wipe cache partition 2. Clear SIM cache, grant permissions, network rest, restart device 3. Multiple resets with flight mode on and off, finally did a Factory rest 4. Used ODIN flashed with latest stock ROM 5. Used ODIN flashed with a year-old ROM - system performed updates as well 6. Used ADB shell to enable cell in airplane mode, no impact. ADB mode shows flight mode was off. 7. Replaced with new SIM card, no difference Based on the above steps, it looks like this is probably a hardware issue, but I would be relieved if it comes from experts. No drops or physical damages to the phone. I haven't read anywhere that partial flight mode results from hardware failure. However, neither ADB made any difference to conclude it as a software/GUI issue. If there aren't solutions left, I can make peace with my phone. I would appreciate your comments and inputs. enter image description here

For Image Sync, this is what happens: 1. On my phone: turn on NFC 1. Turn on my Pentax camera. 2. Open the app on my phone, click on "cam images" to try to download the camera's pictures. 1. App wants me to connect through NFC or through wi-fi. I pick NFC and put the camera near the phone. 1. The connection seems to work, I see "connection successful" at the bottom of my phone. Then a popup lets me select my camera. I click "connect" and immediately after, another popup appears saying "Something came up. The application has cancelled the request to choose a device" 1. If I go the wi-fi route, the same thing happens. For the GoPro, my phone is able to find my camera but when I try to download the images, it says "connecting" and nothing happens. Then another popup: "we had trouble connecting with your GoPro". My phone has developer mode turned on. Is there a setting that i'm missing? It can't be that both apps are faulty, right? It has to be my phone. I've tried various combinations of connections on my phone turned on/off: wi-fi, bluetooth, data. Nothing works.
