I have a HTC One X , Android 4.2.2, everything worked as a charm, but suddenly my WIFI/Bluetooth functionality stopped working. I cant see any WIFI network and cant turn WIFI on/off. It just shows me the message: 'Error' on the Settings > Wifi dashboard. also I cant enable bluetooth. At Settings > Info > Hardware info it states: Wifi: 802.11 a/b/g/n Wifi MAC Adres: Unavailable. Bluetooth: 4.0 Bluetooth adres: Unavailable. I tried a wifi diagnostic app (Wifi fixer) it states: WIFI_STATE_UNKNOWN I tried the following: * give it a static IP-adres, but I can't reach the advanced settings tab. (Settings > Wifi > Advanced) * Soft and Factory Reset. Because it cant tell me the MAC adres of the wificard/Bluetooth is unavailable. I am afraid that the radio unit is broken. Do you have some suggestions for a fix or how to trace the cause of this problem?

I turned on usb-debugging on my HTC One X just to see if I could identify it when using Android SDK. Now the usb-debugging mode always shows up when I connect the phone to my Windows and Linux computer. I have Android 4.1.1 on it; it's not rooted. The settings in developer options is off for everything. Developer options itself is also set to off. Despite this, I always get a notification on my phone that it has connected in usb-debugging mode when I connect with usb-cable. When I check the developer options, they are mysteriously set to on again. When I try to change the settings for the usb connection, I get the settings for Portable hotspot & tethering and not the settings to charge or use mass storage. Strange! This behavior prevents me from using the mass storage option. On my Linux computer, I cannot see any files on the device. Are there any global configurations/settings I can clear to fix this? What else should/could I do?

I am seeking your help to clear up some of my confusion in solving a problem with my HTC ONE X. I tried flashing a custom ROM on my HTC Android phone but all the files and partitions got messed up that every time it boots up, it is on a bootloop. I know the cause to this is due to a mixture of inconsistent (boot, recovery)partitions libraries that I have on the phone. Therefore, I want to FULLY WIPE OF ALL the data on the phone's storage and reinstall a clean set of libraries and stock rom. However, before I wipe off all data and install the new stock rom, I want to know all the commands that I can issue to correct this problem but the problem I have is that the stock zip has a boot.img, hboot.img and recovery.img along with a set of folders (System and Meta-inf folders) and I don't know the command that I can issue to push the folders I mentioned in the right partition, "/system" partition. Moreover, I cannot boot into any recovery modes (CWM or TWRP) so everything has to be done via fastboot commands, I think. I know I can execute the following commands if everything was an .img file but for the folders I do not know how to push them onto my phones storage. For example to push the boot content on the boot partition, I issue the following command to flash the device fastboot erase boot fastboot flash boot boot.img and the following for the rest of the partitions:- fastboot erase recovery fastboot flash recovery recovery.img and so on.. So what would be the solution to push those folders that are non image related onto the right partitions? Lastly, the phone is unlocked, CID: 11111111, Hboot: 1.09 and can only boot into fastboot mode for now. I also tried running the automatic RUU files via zip and exe formats but always fail due to signature or some other missing file error.

Now I cant use adb, device not detected, can't install another rom because I cant use the phone storage. All I can do now is go to the recovery or bootloader screens, the device is detected by my pc though. Did I just brick my phone? any leads to what I should do? I can lock/relock bootloader and flash the recovery

It keep turning on with the battery and bolt logo and display don't turn off. If I press the power button, the phone is boot again into Android. Now I have to turn on Airplain mode at night when charging. Am I the only one who encounter that problem because I doubt that is happening as I unlocked bootloader. I ain't sure as I unlocked the bootloader since the day I bought it. How can I charge with power off?

I've recently got hold on an HTC One X having moved from an HTC Desire. I noticed that my One X charges very slowly when connected to the USB socket on my PC, whereas the Desire was comparatively fast. When charging the One X from the supplied AC adapter the charge is very fast. So, I purchased a new Mains Adapter to keep in the office. However, when connecting the phone to this mains adapter the device still says Charging : USB under the battery status tab and it isn’t as fast as I thought it should be So, is there some difference between the supplied AC adapter and this third-party one I have purchased? Presumably the power supplied s not as high or is there something more?

If I use a third party application, I can set the date/time and see the timestamp on the photo. My old HTC Legend (Gingerbread) had an option to choose whether the timestamp would appear or not. Is it a feature not supported by Android 4.x, or is it just because of HTC One X model? It was not present on Ice Cream Sandwich or since I've upgraded to Jelly Bean.

I just updated my HTC One X from Cyanogenmod 10.1.13 to 10.2 RC1, which seemed to go smoothly. It completed the "Checking apps" stage, and when it rebooted, it got stuck on the boot screen (the spinning concentric circles) for about 15 minutes, at which point I held the power button to turn off the phone, but it just restarted and it's stuck in the same place. What are my options? The problem I have at the moment is I can't turn on or off the phone (just restart) and I also can't get adb to work when I connect it to my PC. (oh, and no...I didn't backup before updating - because that would have been a smart thing to do) Thanks for any help.

I have just brought a Second had HTC ONE X from an auction site, When booting up the phone it works fine, with no sim card. However I have a 2degrees (New Zealand) Micro SIM which is a snapper sim I.E. it has a java applet on the sim to work with NFC as a payment method , when I insert the SIM I get a few seconds later. > The process com.android.phone has stopped. I have no cell reception, and, in the settings for "Mobile Network" It has: > Disconnected because service is unavailable The process then proceeds to crash again every ~30 seconds. Often displaying the quick notification > Preparing Sim Card... The Sim toolkit usually displays: > SIM Toolkit is not ready or is unsupported. But the one time I did manage to get into it, it did say it was 2degrees. I have a custom ROM installed, when I brought the phone it came with a custom ROM, thinking that was going to be the issue I have reflashed it with a different rom, with the same symptoms. I attempted to log what was going on using logcat, but it got 5K+ entries in a few seconds with the majority seemingly important, so this is viewable here: https://gist.github.com/3977367 Below is my device.txt from logcat build.board=unknown build.brand=htc_europe build.cpu_abi=armeabi-v7a build.device=endeavoru build.display=IMM76D build.fingerprint=htc_europe/endeavoru/endeavoru:4.0.4/IMM76D/89015.2:user/release-keys build.host=ABM041 build.id=IMM76D build.manufacturer=HTC build.model=HTC One X build.product=endeavoru build.tags=release-keys build.time=1344347715000 build.type=user build.user=root version.codename=REL version.incremental=89015.2 version.release=4.0.4 version.sdk_int=15
