HTC One M8 - Locked after Android 6 update

I don't know what I did but now I just get a screen saying:

I'm stuck on this screen and none of the options do anything.

Twitter for HTC Sense claims multiple accounts are not supported
I deleted internet data and other data to get more space on my internal memory. Now Twitter for HTC Sense will not work again and keeps telling me "multiple accounts are not supported". I do not have multiple accounts. But I can't get into this app to change anything. What should I do?

How to keep display always off during the call on HTC Sense 4.1 (Android 4.0.1)?
My wife has a problem with HTC Desire X (HTC Sense on Android 4.1) that during the call sometimes (in ~10% cases) the screens goes on for no reason. This cause phone calls to be canceled, loud speaker to be on, etc. I do not know how to reproduce it, but I was on another side of the line already man...
My wife has a problem with HTC Desire X (HTC Sense on Android 4.1) that during the call sometimes (in ~10% cases) the screens goes on for no reason. This cause phone calls to be canceled, loud speaker to be on, etc.
I do not know how to reproduce it, but I was on another side of the line already many times when this problem has happened.
The solution I see is to disable this "automatic on" feature. When the call button is pressed or the phone call is answered, the screen should go off and can be switched on **only** by pressing a hardware button (central or on/off button) and not by the proximity sensor.
I could not find an application that can do this.... Is there any?
If not, is it possible in theory to create such app without replacing the HTC Sense interface?
**ADDED:** Are there maybe some other interfaces around that have such settings? In Samsung or other devices?

I have an HTC Desire HD (on Vodafone UK). I noticed this week that when I now connect it to either pc or mac the option to mount as a hard drive is no longer present. Why? What do I need to do to get it back?

Is it possible to set custom calendar notification sounds for each calendar event?

I think my phone is an HTC wildfire. It's the smallest white HTC on the market and it has 'with HTC sense' on the back.

what I would like to do is be able to take a text message and copy a PORTION of it to use somewhere else. This comes in handy if an email address or phone number wasn't automatically picked up. Especially if it's part of a long text.
The problem is that I can only copy the entire text message, and the text selection arrows never show up. I have used several sms apps and they all seem to do this.
Usually, I long press on the message, then a screen pops up asking me what I want to do. I select copy, and now all the text is in my clipboard. However, as stated above, I only want a portion of that text, not all of it.
If you are wondering, I have an HTC One, running Android 4.4.2 and HTC Sense 5.5.
If anyone knows a way to do this, please let me know. I'm open to using a different SMS app if that's what it takes. Thanks.

I have no problem to disable that on my HTC M9+ (Android 5.0.2) and Mi 5S Plus(Android 7). All 3 phones are running the same version of Play Store, 8.4.19.V-all[FP]175058788
This article described the setting does not apply to HTC U11+ as it is running Sense as home screen management/launcher, so the Home setting is replaced by Sense Home settings, and there is no such configuration within the setting to disable adding icon to home screen.

I'm trying to stream music from The Hype Machine on my HTC Desire.
When using the HTC Sense stock browser I can press play, go to

Only then the music will start playing.
If I activate the key lock or take the focus away in any other way, the sound will stop.
When using Opera Mobile I can't seem to get the sound to work at all.
Looking at the site's source the streaming is done with Javascript (mootools).
On my desktop I don't get any javascript errors and the site works perfectly fine.
Can anybody tell me why I have to jump through such hoops with the stock browser to get the sound going, how I can have the browser keep playing in the background or with the key lock on or why the sound doesn't seem to work in the otherwise nice Opera Mobile?

I was wondering, is there a way to reduce the number of screens available with HTC sense phones to say 5? Just I find that 7 screens is excessive for my needs, and I heard I can get a decent performance / battery boost from having less screens.
So is there a way to reduce the number of screens without using a custom launcher (which I think gets rid of HTC sense?)
Currently I just have my two side screens blank, but that looks off when you zoom out, however I have found that even that has produced a noticeable improvement on my Desire HD

I'm sure it use to show notifications and I cannot find any settings that would control this.
Will factory reset if this just seems wrong/buggy.

Can I have horizontal scrolling in the installed application on the Sense 5.5?

This is extremely annoying. After the last update to Android 2.3.5, whenever I get a call from certain contacts, picking up crashes the whole phone application and resets the SIM. Rejecting the call is even worse, as the ringtone continues indefinitely and the phone blocks all input.
There is a support thread about this with other people having the same problem.
The solution for re-syncing all Facebook contacts didn't work for me. Has anyone here had the same problem and knows how to fix it?

I own an old HTC Wildfire A333. I recently switched it back to the HTC Sense ROM and I saw that the quality of pictures taken with the default HTC camera app seem better. Not slightly. Quite a considerable amount actually.
I know that picture clarity is related to the camera hardware. I switched back to CM9 again and when I turned the camera app on, I could see the clarity was bad (without taking pictures, just through the app interface. I did take pictures though and the quality was bad. The settings were all accounted for).
Even when I used another camera app the quality was pretty bad. Sadly, I couldn't flash the HTC camera on the CM mod to see if that's what makes the difference.
Does software affect the picture quality? If so, how?
