I have an HTC One running Android Revolution HD (ARHD), with Android 4.4.2, and I've been getting this error that says >Bluetooth share has stopped working. The problem is that I have *no clue* what's causing this error to appear. I think it started appearing after I clicked the "share" button in an app - but even after fully rebooting my device, I STILL keep getting this error. Does anyone know what could cause this error? And more importantly - how do I debug what app is causing this error? I just don't even know where to start investigating.

So my HTC One M8 battery has been dying recently at around 30%. I'm pretty sure it's hardware, as it happens even after flashing a RUU multiple times. Well anyway, I just searched for showtimes for a movie theater near me and it shut off with no warning, as now is normal. I plugged it in, turned it on and... Nothing from the Android OS is vibrating, as in the lower on screen buttons don't give haptic feedback like before, but all third party apps do, like my SwiftKey. I also noticed that I can't swipe down from notifications to get to my quick setting, it's like it was never designed to go any further. Another thing that changed is that Now On Tap is also disabled. Holding on the home key does nothing. Is it possible the sudden shutdowns finally corrupted something? Should I restore the backup in thankfully made last night, or is there a way to fix any of this?

How to unlock the bootloader of HTC One A9?
I **forgot my password** so it **got formated**, I was gonna just **set the phone** again but the thing is my phones **WiFi does not work** *(Maybe because of the firmware)*. I **forgot my password** so it **got formated**, I was gonna just **set the phone** again but the thing is my phones **WiFi does not work** *(Maybe because of the firmware)*. So I thouht I could use **Mobile Data** but I need to **set the APN** and the **Tools button is grayed out**, so I can not do that *(Is there a way?)*. So I think the only way I might have is to **re-flash its stock OS**. And I started trying that. But.. when I try to flash the **ZIP RUU** i downloaded from XDA Forums using the flashing tool they provide *(I tried others but got the same output)* i get this error when the second zip is being written (bootloader) ERR Update zip file failed. (bootloader) ERR ZIP ERROR, exit read zip loop (bootloader) ERR ZIP signature checking failed... (bootloader) Update zip file OK (bootloader) ERR ZIP ERROR CODE, 22 (bootloader) end@Done I looked in Google and found that this maybe because the download is corrupted so i downloaded again but i got the same. Then I tried to flash the firmware because maybe it could be that but I get that same error. So as i looked more i thougt maybe is was because my **bootloader is locked** so looked in how to do that and followed the instructions in HTCDev for my specific model but the *fastboot.exe* file i got opens a terminal window but closes in a second so I did it using the *Open PowerShell from here* method but then **instead** of the response i should get as the **instructions** said i got this error (bootloader) [KillSwitch] : /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/frp (bootloader) [KillSwitch] Last Byte is 0X00, disable unlock (bootloader) [KillSwitch] oem unlock Turn Off! I looked for this in Google and a **forum comment** says it might be like a **protection** because of the reset, What can I do about this if I need to get my phone working again somehow?

The phone is supposed to have 10.5 GB space according to Windows, but at the moment only 945 MB is free (again, according to Windows). However, when I select all of my files within and check properties it shows that they all take up only 5 GB of space, meaning another 4-5ish has disappeared. Any ideas how to fix this, as I'm trying to free up space for more music and pictures? enter image description here enter image description here Screenshots from DiskInfo and DiskUsage: enter image description here enter image description here

My phone is an HTC One running Android 4.4.2, and the headset is a Logitech G35. I've tried connecting the headset to the phone with a USB OTG cable several times with mixed results: * The buttons on the headset (play/pause, skip, volume) always work. * Sound sometimes comes out of the phone, sometimes comes out of the headset, and sometimes doesn't come out at all. * When sound DOES come out of the headset, it's either at "full volume" (not as loud as I would expect it to be) or muted. The phone won't let me set it to anything in between. * Someone called once while I had sound coming out of it: the phone used the built-in speakers & mic for the call. It works just fine with my laptop (running Linux Mint) so it shouldn't need any special drivers. I'd like to make it work properly because it sounds much better than my earbuds and is pretty good at blocking out noise. I haven't really tried the mic and I'm not too worried about it. What do I need to do to make it work? Am I just overlooking a setting or something? Update: I found [this question](https://android.stackexchange.com/questions/36887/how-can-i-determine-if-my-device-has-usb-host-mode-otg-support?rq=1) and [ran the diagnostic](http://usbhost.chainfire.eu/?search=543132) . It looks like it should have full support for USB devices, so I don't know why it's not working.

Starting last week, my HTC One running ARHD 31.5 keeps forgetting the default launcher. Every few minutes, it will forget the setting and ask me for a launcher when I hit the home button. So far, I haven't found a pattern yet. Here's what I've tried so far: - restarting the phone - removing the default setting via Settings > Apps and setting it fresh - tried different launchers to rule out the launcher deleting the settings - updating the ROM (seriously) It happens both when the phone is locked, or when I keep it unlocked and basically not doing anything but keeping the screen alive. After a few minutes, the default will be gone. Any ideas how to debug this are welcome.

Since my phone (HTC One M7) can record in 720p at 60 fps, I'm curious if it's possible to record smaller video, like 320x240, at much higher speeds, like 180 fps. Is the 60 fps a hard coded limit?

I have tried many things to do this: - KingRoot - KingoRoot - TowelRoot - WeakSauce - The PC Version for KingoRoot - iRoot (PC and app) - And several other programs None of those worked. I am running 5.0.2 I can not unlock my bootloader with HTCDev.com because my phone is branded by Verizon. Also, Rumrunner does not work. I get either: (F**k it) or (Such dumb issues you have...). I would also like to know what is causing this. My end goal is to be root with Cyanogenmod and TWRP Touch. My HTC One is about 18 months old. On almost every incoming call I receive, the loudspeaker turns on. Other than the fact you look like an idiot saying 'Hello' only to have your phone on the loudspeaker as if you don't know how to work the thing, it's actually pretty sore when you get a full blast 'HELLO' directly into your ear. I'm wondering if it's an Android issue or specifically an HTC One thing. I honestly can't remember if it happened directly after an update, and I don't really have any odd apps, at least none I think would affect in-coming calls anyway. This question is very similar to mine, but the apps which were un-installed to rectify the problem, are not and have never been on my device. What is the possible reasons for this, and how to fix this?
