>
Currently, I am getting the same message multiple times every 5 minutes. At first I just sort of ignored it, and one day I decided I would just go ahead and delete all the messages. As soon as I deleted them, they just kept on coming back at 5-minute intervals.
I am on Sprint on the Nexus S 4G.
My phone has also been doing other weird things lately. Sometimes when I lay it flat on a surface, it will just reboot itself constantly. I'm not sure if this is related to the text messages or not.
Also, the messages only show up in the "Messaging" app which I don't really use. They don't show up in Google Voice at all.
I actually got some of these weird messages about a month ago, however they stopped for a good while. Today, I just decided to delete them, and now they've been coming in every 5 minutes. So far I've received 32 in the span of about an hour. I have not talked to Sprint about this, and I don't believe I have been charged for them. Also, I can't reply back to these messages. If I try to reply and I hit "send", it just tells me that the message was not sent.
Factory reset the phone. The messages are still coming in.

I am currently in India, and I'm not able to get roaming data with my HTC One M8 Sprint. I have tried several settings and several carriers but to no avail. I have called Sprint but their solutions haven't helped. I have registered for roaming and I verified this on the website. I can connect to carriers to make calls, but I cannot get roaming data.
Is there any way I can fix this without having to call Sprint Customer Support again?
**EDIT**
* Available network operators: Aircel, IND Airtel, Vodafone IN, CellOne
* Network Modes: CDMA Only, LTE/CDMA, GSM/UMTS Only, Automatic
* All roaming guards are disabled.
* Access Point is default Sprint World.
* CDMA roaming mode is set to Automatic
* Domestic Voice, Domestic Data, International Voice, International Data, and GSM Data is all enabled.

If I flash a custom ROM (lineage-14.1-20171004-nightly-kltespr-signed), will my unlocked phone stop working with the SIM? or the unlock will remain after the installation?
P.d: I don't know if it's relevant, but I'm outside the US.

Firstly, I am running CyanogenMod 12.1 on my HTC One M8 , but this is an issue I also experienced running stock Android (e.g. Lollipop).
The issue I am experiencing is that my device appears to be unable to reconnect or "get back" on the Sprint data network. For example, yesterday, I was in NYC (obviously somewhere that should and is covered), but I was unable to get a data connection anywhere in the city. I was only able to send SMS (*not* send/receive MMS) and make voice calls.
In the past, when I had this issue on Sprint, being the helpful individuals they are, they told me to restore my phone and reinstall Android. I did that, which helped for a while, but it wasn't long before I ran into the same issue on stock Android. After a while, the issue seemed to "resolve" itself magically. I never found out why or how.
More recently, I rooted my phone and installed CyanogenMod 12.1 on my M8, and I am running into the exact same issue I had before. Ideally, I don't want to have to restore my phone again, because not only do I not think this is the "fix-all", but it seemed like Sprint's lazy answer for not wanting to actually troubleshoot my device.
This is becoming increasingly apparent when I travel as I am unable to get GPS directions, send MMS messages, or do anything over data like normal when I'm off of a WiFi network. Despite having "bars" on my screen, CM will display a small "!" over my data icon, which I assume is an indicator that it is unable to connect to the mobile network in some way.
Is there anything I can do to better troubleshoot my mobile data connection?

I'm having a strange issue with a Motorola Photon Q. The Photon Q is carrier locked to Sprint but has long since been paid off. I have the IMEI and the MSL code to unlock the device to use with other carriers, but I've hit a roadblock in actually getting it unlocked. I called Sprint and the guy that answered seemed very helpful. He tried to unlock the phone. He even read through the manual to try to make this work. In the end he talked to his supervisors and informed me that because of how old the Photon Q is they can't unlock it through IMEI and that I need to go to the carrier that the phone will be used with, AT&T, and have them unlock it using the MSL code. So, I went to AT&T to talk with them about unlocking it with the MSL code and they didn't even seem to know what an MSL code was. I explained to them exactly what the Sprint guy explained to me several times but they didn't seem to understand. They wanted the IMEI, which didn't work. They kept asking me if it was an AT&T phone. Nothing I said seemed to get through and I still don't know how to unlock this phone.
So, how do I unlock this phone, the Motorola Photon Q, to be used with non-Sprint carriers like AT&T?

They pop up very frequently, and I cannot find a way to disable them.
**TL;DR:** Is there a way to disable the popup error messages related to no service on a Sprint LG G2?

So the phone is a S5 SM-G900P, it is stuck in the Sprint logo when booting and the volume keys are broken (power and home keys work).
Developer mode and adb weren't activated in the phone previously
What I have tried:
- adb (doesn't recognize my device)
- bought a JIG that gets me to the download mode screen
- I have flashed 3 official firmwares using odin (
G900PVPS3CQD1_G900PSPT3CQD1_G900PVPS3CQD1_HOME.tar
.md5
G900PVPS3CQC1_G900PSPT3CQC1_G900PVPS3CQC1_HOME.tar
.md5
G900PVPU3BOK4_G900PSPT3BOK4_G900PVPU3BOK4_HOME.tar .md5).
- Tried flashing TWRP recovery via odin so i could do the factory reset without pressing keys, it gave me a pass and i was hoping that it took me to that screen after that but same story getting stuck
All the flashing goes smoothly, but like i said gets stuck in the sprint logo
on all 3
I've read that going into recovery mode and wiping dalvik cache and cache plus factory reset fixes the stuck in carrier logo screen, but with no volume keys i can't access recovery mode.
So i'd love to hear any input or any ways you guys come across that can help me
Much appreaciated

This happens whenever texting my bank, or other business services that use short codes like this (e.g., 50292, or 22000) for customer interaction. I can receive their messages but I cannot send back any replies to them. They always fail with the same stated error message. I happen to be using a Sprint Samsung Galaxy S5 running on stock firmware. For SMS messaging I've preferred to use Google Voice (it's linked up to my Sprint number and handles my voice-mail too), but the error still happens on the stock SMS messaging app.

Can I use my Samsung SM-J700P on the ATT network?
It was locked to the Boost Mobile network (Sprint) before I supposedly unlocked it with Odin, but using the ATT SIM card says it's not supported for the device. I've spoken to both companies and neither seems to be able to help. Thanks for any advice

On my Galaxy S4 (Sprint), I regularly get a voicemail icon in my notification bar with the message:
> With this update, you will be able to enjoy premium Ad-supported features such as inline playback and auto forward to email.
I have no interest in "enjoying" these features, and I cannot figure out how to make it go away.
- "Allow automatic updating" is not not checked.
- I have no messages that haven't been listened to.
- I do not want to disable all notifications from the voicemail application, as I would like to be notified when I have messages.
- Clearing the notification makes it go away for anywhere from 5 minutes to a day, but it always comes back.
Is there any way that I can disable this specific message?

I flashed Cyanogenmod to my Galaxy S3, got the stock ROM after restarting
I used the Cyanogenmod installer on my phone and PC, everything went fine, and at the end received a success message. After restarting however, I was back at the stock ROM, though with all of my data and settings deleted. What did I do wrong? The device is rooted. I have ClockworkMod working.

What might the problem be?

In that respect though, I have no idea what Virgin Mobile is, though I know Sprint is CDMA, and the Galaxy S series, from what I understand, seems to be GSM. Virgin sells them, though, so I assume getting an S5 will be fine. I'm just wondering which one, locked or unlocked, will provide me with the easiest process when setting up the S5- or whether there'll be a difference.
I did read from Virgin's help site: "Your non-Virgin Mobile phone needs to be unlocked to work on the Virgin Mobile network."
Not sure how relevant it is.
(From the last question in the Get Started section, about halfway down the page)

I have a Sprint Samsung Galaxy S3 (SPH-L710) worked fine until I dropped it. After I picked it up the phone shut off, I tried removing/reinserting the battery, it would go to the Samsung logo, vibrate, and shut off. Power switch doesn't seem to work.
I tried plugging the charger in and it does nothing. I remove the battery and plug in the charger and the red light comes on, but when I reinstall battery it goes off.
I have tried removing battery, holding down power switch for 1 minute, then reinstalling battery. Does the same thing, vibrate, Samsung logo, off. I tried removing battery and when reinstalling it hold down the home key and volume+ key and it will say loading recovery, but then screen black.
The repair store where I live said it needed a new LCD Display and Digitizer??? I shouldn't be able to see the Samsung logo screen, Correct? I need to power on phone to remove some file and photos. Can this be done?
Any help is appreciated, thanks.

My provider: Boost/Sprint

Android 6.0.1
I've looked around and found confirmations for this build with one difference, the builds confirmed don't have the "1

Can anyone explain the significance of the 1 at the end of my build?
Also will I need to reactivate my service if I root?

When i connect it to my pc my phone just notifies me that its charging. My pc will not detect it period even after uninstalling/reinstalling drivers. I've tried using Linux, MAC, Windows 7,8,8.1, and 10 still no luck. This is extremely frustrating considering i can not transfer anything unless i upload everything through some form of cloud storage. I have even tried changing the radio settings on my phone from MTP to MTP ADB and several others in hope that this would fix it. I have also tried flashing other versions of support OS versions even going back to 5.0.1.
