How to upgrade HBOOT from 0.80.0007 to 1.01.0001
I own an HTC Wildfire with HBOOT version 0.80.0007 and S-On. How do I upgrade to HBOOT 1.01.0001? Can anyone give me a nudge in the right direction? I've been racking my brains for the last few days, looking for a useful tutorial, with no luck at all, I hope to sort my problem out.

I have a nuumber of Android apps installed. When I use them from desktop shortcuts of phone, they work normally but in "All apps" (having up arrow symbol) section, it only shows 4 apps: Latitude, Local, Maps and Navigation. While all other apps are not there but still installed. So I am wondering that why and how that happened? I saw some other similar titled questions but they are different. I didn't hide any thing intentionally but not sure if I set some thing. Please note that I am not a layman, I am a developer so when I am doing some thing then I understand what I am doing, so I think it is some thing that did automatically, may be after and because of updates of apps. I also have app2sd card so not sure if it's related. So please some one tell if you know that how can I have my apps again under that apps section and can use it normally. My Android version is, Froyo and I'm using an HTC Wildfire.

I own an old HTC Wildfire A333. I recently switched it back to the HTC Sense ROM and I saw that the quality of pictures taken with the default HTC camera app seem better. Not slightly. Quite a considerable amount actually. I know that picture clarity is related to the camera hardware. I switched back to CM9 again and when I turned the camera app on, I could see the clarity was bad (without taking pictures, just through the app interface. I did take pictures though and the quality was bad. The settings were all accounted for). Even when I used another camera app the quality was pretty bad. Sadly, I couldn't flash the HTC camera on the CM mod to see if that's what makes the difference. Does software affect the picture quality? If so, how?

Whilst the guy in the shop was able to transfer my pictures and video, when he tried to transfer my contact phone numbers he said he couldn't do that without putting the phone into debug mode, and he could only do that if he could see what he was doing on the screen. Is there any way of getting a HTC Wildfire into debug mode without having to use the screen?

Sometimes (and it seems completely random) the screen lock function never works. When pressing the power button and pulling down the clock it tells me the screen is locked, but there is no lock there! When I pull it down I get to my home screen instead of the screen where I need to enter my lock pattern.

How to show screen display during phone call on HTC Wildfire?
I have started using the HTC Wildfire, and have a small niggle with it. When making a call, the screen blacks out to conserve power. This makes it awkward when you have to enter a number i.e. for an automated phone call response. Is there a setting to display the screen during a call?

The program made a xml-file of the text messages. Unfortunately i forgot to copy the the file before resetting the phone and thus deleting all contents. I've tried Remo recover and Wondershare data recovery but they dont seem to recognize the xml-format (pictures and documents are shown). Does anyone have a better suggestion?
