The key is that my music files are all over the place in separate folder in my phone. It would be too time consuming to sift through every folder and pull out the individual song files that are in my playlist, not to mention some of the files are weirdly named so I'd end up missing some. I'm trying to move just the songs that are in said playlist so I can burn them to a CD. The music app on my LGG4 let me export the playlist into an ".m4u" file but I'm not sure what this does or if it even helps. Any guidance? Thanks in advance.

I can find plethora of software promising you to do all kind of magic, but half of them most likely malware, adware, bloatware: https://www.coolmuster.com/android/top-3-android-repair-software.html Good news is I had USB debugging enabled before the screen broke. The phone works perfectly tho. I can hear the alarms, email notifications, notification sounds from other apps, the PC recognize it. Is there a software which makes it possible to show the screen of the phone on the PC when connected through USB cable???

I have always worked with laptops and amnt a fan of smartphones or tablets, But I will soon be required to use an app, which doesn't have a desktop alternative, meaning I will need an Android-capable device. So I was thinking could I run Android off of a desktop and as I will also need my SIM card from my cell phone, I was looking at the Lenovo ThinkPad X250 as it comes with a SIM card slot. And I know Android can be loaded onto a laptop using the likes of Bliss OS or Android x64 But I have read that people have had issues with connecting to the mobile data from the SIM card when using Android this way and was wondering if anybody knows any good ways to accomplish this.

I have set up a BBS on my laptop and use my mobile data for all internet access. I am able to connect to other BBS's via TELNET so assume port 23 is open on mobile network, EE. I assume my phone is acting as the router and can get its IP from cmd: ipconfig listed as default gatway. also setup dynamic IP via NOIP with a host name pointing to the laptop IP found on the noip system BUT no one is able to connect to 'myhostname.ddns.net:23? firewall is configured to open port 23. I am thinking is because I am using mobile data for internet access and port 23 is not open for inbound traffic on the mobile network. yet i did read in another post that EE dont block any ports. Does anyone know how I can enable connections to my BBS over the mobile network? even if it involves some android app on my phone to open the port phone is Galaxy A20e Android 11

I want to transfer the SMS messages on my Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone to my PC (with Linux Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS), in a form in which I can open and view the messages on my PC as I do on my smartphone. I know about the apps which can back up smartphone data, such as Kies and Smart Switch for Samsung phones and ADB and Android File Transfer for Android devices. But as far as I can tell, these only back the SMS data up rather than save them as files which can be opened on PC desktop.

recently I have been trying out new roms. When I flashed resurrection remix v5.8.5 on my device (Lenovo vibe k4 note) via TWRP recovery, after that the room was working fine, but magisk came pre-installed, which, when I open, gives an error: "magisk manager has stopped working". So I decided to change to another rom. but I can't boot into recovery menu after flashing resurrection remix os. when I try to boot into recovery, it directly boots the system. And when I power it off, after an hour or two, it automatically powers on and boots the system. I would be grateful if someone helps me. Thank you

I have installed Android x86 on my Windows 10 HP Laptop. It was "Android-x86_64-9.0-r2.iso". I ran it on my PC and it opened rooted. I installed an app I required. The app has got lots of videos that are supported for playing only on an unrooted device. So, I couldn't play the app's videos. What I did: - I enabled developer's options and disabled root access in it. I still couldn't play the videos. - Enable Developper Mode. On the developer's options, enable full root access. Run the terminal emulator. Use the followings commands : > su > rm /system/bin/su > rm /system/xbin/su After typing these commands as: *These files are read only files* type of message. The last command resulted in a question y/N and after writing 'y', I still got the former message. None of these methods worked. I need an OS that gives me both root access and unroot access as and when I require. This is quite easy in Android emulators as they have a single option on setting which can enable or disable root access. But my app is not supported on emulators. Hence, the need for OS. PS: I don't know if this is the correct site for my question. I couldn't find very appropriate tags. Please suggest the correct website.Thank you. PS: I am asking regarding whether other OS might be suitable for what I need. Like PrimeOS, BlissOS, RemixOS, etc.

The copying process always stops midway, even when I tried to copy one song by one song. 2. I took out the micro SD from my phone and put it in the PC which has an micro SD slot. Copying works?, but destination files are all broken and unplayable. 3. I went to the place where I originally downloaded the songs onto my PC, which hosted them as an rar archive on Google Drive. I tried to download the archive directly to my phone, but the archive disappears from my phone's filesystem after the download is done. What is happening to my phone? It's a Asus Zenfone 5 running on Android pie. The micro SD card is about 7 years old. Edit: I tried a few more things after posting the question initially: 1. Checking the filesystem of the micro SD card on Windows 10 reveals no errors. 2. Using FTP inbuilt on my phone, I can copy the rar archive from my PC to my phone's internal storage. After that I tried copying it to the micro SD card with a file manager on my phone. After the copying process is done, the archive is no where to be found on the micro SD card. It seems like the problem is not my phone, but the micro SD card making the files disappear after copying the files onto it.

I want to buy a tablet to use it as secondary screen for my pc by cable and I want to know which features/hardware must have to be use it as secondary PC monitor. I am asking because I have been using spacedesk to connect my tablet to PC via Wi-Fi. It works fine but if the connection is not good or the tablet processor is not powerful enough, there is too much delay between PC and tablet monitors.
