Using Apps2SD Pro app on Samsung Galaxy Note 3 N9005, Resurrection Remix Nougat v5.8.5 with Magisk v17.1. I lose the linked apps again & again after reboot. This happened several times already. I tried all mounting script types, including the advanced one, but after several reboots, the linked apps are disappearing (errors attached). See the Storage screenshot, where you can see the sdext2 (labelled as EXT4) mounted by system, instead by Apps2SD. The problem is that the sdext2 partition is mounted earlier than the Apps2SD is started and initialized, so Apps2SD can not mount the sdext2 partition, thus the system loses the installed linked apps. How can I make Apps2SD started before sdext2 partition is mounted by the Resurrection Remix system? <img src=" class="img-fluid rounded" style="max-width: 100%; height: auto; margin: 10px 0;" loading="lazy"> <img src=" class="img-fluid rounded" style="max-width: 100%; height: auto; margin: 10px 0;" loading="lazy"> <img src=" class="img-fluid rounded" style="max-width: 100%; height: auto; margin: 10px 0;" loading="lazy"> (Tap to enlarge)

What is the differences between RR images ARM / A64 / ARM64 / system?
When downloading [Resurrection Remix GSI images][1], there are a lot of options to choose from, namely: - A64 - ARM64 - ARM - system ARM64 is self-explanatory. ARM could probably 32-bit version for armv7 CPU. What is the other 2? I cannot find any explanation anywhere on their website. [1]: https://...

I'm using Resurrection Remix Tissot 7.0.1 (Pie) in a Mi-A1 and I'm looking for a way to disable autorefresh on my apps, someone know how to do it? The "autorefresh" is the function of Android that refresh an app (like Firefox Browser) always you change it from second to first plan, and I see this as a wasting of time, of data, of processing time and of battery life. If I'm writing something in a comment box on Firefox, for instance, when I change the browser to second plan to confirm some information and come it back to first plan, it refreshs the site automatically and I lose everything I've written.

When I flashed resurrection remix v5.8.5 on my device (Lenovo vibe k4 note) via TWRP recovery, after that the room was working fine, but magisk came pre-installed, which, when I open, gives an error: "magisk manager has stopped working". So I decided to change to another rom. but I can't boot into recovery menu after flashing resurrection remix os. when I try to boot into recovery, it directly boots the system. And when I power it off, after an hour or two, it automatically powers on and boots the system. I would be grateful if someone helps me. Thank you

My question is, what is the alternative available for **LineageOS 16?** I'm asking because it doesn't have any customization app by default and I need one because the Home button of my cellphone is broken (hardware stuff, not software) and when I used RR I just added a new home button on the bottom of the screen. How can I do the same for LineageOS? Thanks in advance.

How to force SELinux to permissive even when setenforce 0 is not working and kernel was 100% permissive when flashed?

Yesterday it turned to enforcing status, then SPenCommand stopped working. And when I tried to setenforce 0 in terminal, it gave me error: invalid argument. I don't want to flash phone again, backup takes a lot of time, as well as restoring, because I have very old PC and I flashed it on friend's laptop who is now 50 miles away and won't come just because of this (my computer still uses USB 1.1 interface - I know it's garbage but its working for 15 years stable. Any suggestions how to do it on phone itself, would be helpful. Please help me somebody :)

I am running Resurrection Remix Oreo (8.1) on my Samsung Galaxy S7 (herolte). This has been my preferred custom ROM for years now. However, I have an annoying problem: the SIM toolkit[*] application does not work properly. It used to work on the phone I had before (Galaxy S4 with RR 8.0). For testing purposes, I switched back to stock firmware and gave it a try. Everything worked fine. Thus, I would like to copy the original STK app to my custom ROM. I also tried RR Pie (9.0) and original LineageOS 16, without success. However, I cannot just copy it over. It somehow must be signed correctly. This is my first problem. Can I sign it with the public android platform key? Or would it have to be signed with the RR developers' private key? There is another problem: The app is made for Android 8.0 (API 26) whereas I am using Android 8.1 (API 27). I might be able to change the manifest using apktool or something similar. I would appreciate any advice. [*] I use this as an authentication method for my online banking platform. The bank sends a message to my phone telling the SIM card to pop up a dialog where I have to enter a special PIN (not the normal code to unlock the SIM card). The phone then sends back a message to my bank telling them to log me in. What currently fails is the "OK" button. Pressing it gives absolutely no reaction. In more recent versions of LineageOS, there is also a "Cancel" button, but it does not work either.

Unlock with fingerprint instead of PIN after Device reboot or Device Locked by admin

Android has a security feature that requires the user to input PIN/Pattern/Password if the device was locked by an app using the Device Administrator permission or when the device is restarted. Recently though, I've started using custom ROMs like LineageOS and Resurrection Remix . I happened to notice something interesting in Resurrection Remix: that it allows you to use fingerprint even after an admin device lock or device restart. Take a look at the screen capture below. <img src=" class="img-fluid rounded" style="max-width: 100%; height: auto; margin: 10px 0;" loading="lazy"> You'll find this setting typically under Settings > Customizations > Interfaces > Fingerprint settings. Now, with that option enabled, it allows me to unlock device with fingerprint auth. regardless of the method with which the device was locked before. I've since switched to LineageOS for reasons but I kind of want this feature and am looking for help. I've also looked a bit into the Resurrection Remix Sources but was unable to find anything helpful. Perhaps, maybe, is there a build.prop hack/tweak/option I could use to get said feature in LineageOS too? Any pointers in the right direction are greatly appreciated, Thanks! Note: In before someone points out, I understand this option, if enabled, can seriously downplay device security but I kind of want to learn about why it works how it works. I do not necessarily plan to enable this but learning is always interesting. I also happen to understand code a bit, please feel free to use code instances (I was thinking about Android Keystore auth code) to make things more clearer should need be.

Does Resurrection Remix exist for Asus_Z00E_2?
It is not on their website, but I can't believe they have skipped making a ROM for this device. It looks like none of the official releases support this device. I really don't know why though.
