I enabled its access to the local computer. The app is supposed to handle APKS, but in the APKS tab, it says no APK file found. I tried looking in the scan folder but it is unclear where it is actually searching in regard to Download.

I am trying to set up TLS interception with PolarProxy, using my own CA cert to see the clear-text payload of Android traffic. I am using BlueStacks 10 as an Android emulator. I used the procedure [at this link](https://android.stackexchange.com/questions/237141/how-to-get-android-11-to-trust-a-user-root-ca-without-a-private-key) to generate a CA cert and used the procedure [at this link](https://xdaforums.com/t/tutorial-how-to-install-custom-ssl-certificates-root-etc-on-bluestacks-4-5.4513773/) to place it on the BlueStacks instance. Specifically I mounted the drive for the BlueStacks instance onto a VirtualBox machine to add the cert onto the BlueStacks' drive.
I've checked that the cert is being used by PolarProxy since it shows up on the Windows machine I am hosting BlueStacks on. Further, the cert is on the machine since I see it at the /system/etc/security/cacerts folder in BlueStacks with the same permissions as the other certs on the instance. However, when I navigate to a website on BlueStacks using Chrome, Firefox, or Opera, the certificate is not trusted and I get an error. Is there a post-install step I'm missing here or something else that needs to happen for the BlueStacks instance to trust the cert?

I am looking to see if anyone has successfully figured out a way to manually backup and restore Bluestacks instances. I am not asking about Bluestacks backup and restore capability as this does not do individual instances - it's all or nothing - individual instances are not currently supported.
However, regardless of supportability, I have a need to migrate some instances across computers. There are a few configuration items that would have to be addressed:
1. port number conflict potential
2.
bluestacks.conf changes
3. potential change in directory at target
I was wondering if anyone has attempted to execute this effort and whether you've been successful. Am I missing anything else that could be dependent?

I cant download a specific app on an emulator
So I am trying to download stockspile (trading app). First I thought that my problem was that internet so I used US proxy. But I keep getting the issue your device isnt compatible with this version. Does anyone know how to bypass this ?

A group of games I play does not have Google Play transfer, and I thought I could use the import button on BlueStacks and find the file on my phone (save file) and copy that to the import of BlueStacks. However, seeing as every time I play on a different device, I'll have to copy through cable, import, etc.
I was hoping I could set something like OneDrive to backup and sync constantly that specific file (which would get updated as saved). Currently, I have to use Android Studio to access the save file - it is hidden from the operating system.
How can I do this?

How to run bluestacks emulator in slow motion?
I can run bluestacks emulator fine, but for some games which require dodging, it would be easier if I had more time to think. That said, is there a feature that allows me to explicitly reduce the fps or make it slow motion?

"One time setup" screen pop ups constantly on BlueStacks
I can't use any app in BlueStacks since it constantly sends the "One time setup" message. The "Disable" and "Force stop" buttons don't work for "App sync" and "BS services". No matter how many times I do it, they can't be disabled. Any solution?

I am interested in creating multiple independent copies of Telegram X in Bluestacks Version 4.270.1 (2803) on Mac Big Sur 11.2.3.
The reason I want to do it is when there is a lot of accounts signed in in Telegram X it starts to lag a lot and crash too. I think that by creating multiple version of the app and signing in with less accounts in each this problem could be fixed.
To do the copying itself, I had already tried some popular methods suggested by google such as downloading an app in Google Store in Bluestocks that allows to manage multiple sessions of the same app, but (a) it doesn't work and (b) I don't think it's exactly what I need. By it doesn't work I mean whatever app like this I download, when I try to do something with it, it crashes most of the time.
Could you please recommend an elegant way to do this if there is any? I guess, the option of the last resort is just creating multiple Bluestacks right? However, this will probably cause issues with local memory on my laptop pretty quickly.

I've installed Instagram on the BlueStacks simulator to work easier when I don't have my mobile phone with me at the office. My PC is OptiPlex 9020 - i7 and I have installed the latest version of BlueStacks.
The problem is that I see the Instagram videos upside down.
