It is obviously some setting that I have played with. But searching for "lock", "unlock" and "pin" in the Wear App -> Watch Settings does not reveal anything useful. From memory, the only recent changes I have made is to enable Google Pay and loaded a visa card. But I can not find any settings for wearables on Google Pay.

I'm using a recently bought Samsung Galaxy S23FE. I mostly bought it because my previous phone didn't have NFC and couldn't be used for contactless payment. What I'd like to do, is to use the fingerprint sensor to authorize payments, and *only* for payments. I haven't found how to make either Google Pay itself or the phone's payment feature require fingerprint. The only thing I found is to have it require unlocking the phone (for which I _don't_ want to use fingerprints). So right now I have to type my unlock code everytime I use my phone to pay, which is much less practical than tapping my finger on the reader. Is it even possible to do what I'm looking for? If it is, how can I do it and what did I do wrong?

How do you fix the problem when you try to make a paid purchase it says "Couldn't complete your transaction. Your Play balance can only be used in Canada. See the fit card terms of service.". I am in Canada. I've tried purchasing multiple apps from the Play Store on multiple devices. So this error must be associated with my Google Account. My balance is about $50. I use a VPN and have tried with it off but no difference. I have purchased apps in the past and it worked.

I have installed Google Pay and NFC credit card payment is neat. However, I don't feel safe about it. What if someone snatches my phone, then pays with it before I notice, or after I notice but before I can call my bank to stop the credit card tied to the account? As things go now, payment up to 30 Euro (I am in Ireland) work without unlocking the phone, just by waking it up with the power button. Is it possible to set Google Pay to work with NFC only when the phone is unlocked? In this way, if the phone is snatchedm at least it will take the thueves some time to find my pattern...

I use google wallet for paying with my phone in stores. Recently I downloaded a new app (via my credit card provider- I gain credits that I can use as money) and I would like to use it as a **secondary** payment app. My issue is that this new app won't allow me to use it unless I make it my default payment app. I wanted to know if this is a general requirement or something I should contact the support to fix. I want to continue to use google as my default payment app, unless I specifically want to use the new app. Is that at all possible?

I installed an app and it has a subscription for the pro version in-app. Image It automatically selects the account and shows the added cards in the subscription popup window Image I cannot change the payment account, I guess it grabs the account from Google Pay installed on my phone which I use for everyday payments. I don't like it, I don't like when some arbitrary app that I don't trust has access to my payment profile by default, and I like to disable such possibility for the app. Is there a way? I don't understand where this possibility comes from, I didn't grant any payment permissions for the app. Image Is this permission inherent for any app and I can't disable it? Answering future questions: I **tried** to install this app from another account like suggested here , I **tried** to reinstall, and I even installed this app from APK in the end. No result. It still points to the same payment account, I guess it was saved from the first time in the very beginning when I installed the app from it.

My Google Play country used to be France. I changed it to USA, and can use Google Play myself, but I can't set up Google Play Family Library: "Country not supported. Confirm the country associated with your account in Google payments > Settings." I have two payment methods, but one is expired. The expired card might belong to a relative in France, but I can't find a way to delete the expired card, only update its expiration date. Note: my address under Payments Profile is a U.S. address. Note: I see a link to "Close payments profile". If I do that, can I keep my gmail account and open a new payment profile associated with it? The Country is United States I suspect that the expired card is a French card

My mother has been playing a game on her tablet (its called Hidden City), in which she sometimes buy in-game elements to help her progress. But since about 2 months, each time she tries to buy something, Google Play reject the payment by sending the error OR-PMSA-03 Does someone know what this error means and what might cause it ? We already tried to check with the bank, and according to them, there is no problem with the credit cart she is using, so the error might come either from the game (we already tried to uninstall/reinstall it) or the tablet itself Thanks, Méta

The situation is pretty strange: Google Play store tells me that Google Pay is not compatible with my device (Samsung S10), but **I know it is installed and I have used it in the past**. When I click on NFC it allows me to choose Google Pay as preferred payment option, my bank app could set its debit card into Google Pay and I'm definitely able to pay by using my phone (I've done it multiple times). But.. The app is nowhere to be shown. I tried to look for it in settings/apps but it is not there and I wouldn't know what else to do to find it (apart from a factory reset?)

I have a quick question about NFC on Android devices. Assume that I have a device set-up for Google Pay, i.e. I added a credit card. I also have said credit card in my wallet and it is capable of NFC transactions (i.e. I can pay with the creadit card in the same way as I can pay with my phone). The battary drain of NFC on phones is negligible these days, mostly due to the low power consumption when in "passive" mode. But whenever you do a payment, the chip switches to "active" mode to actually process the payment. If I put my phone with NFC enabled onto my wallet (containing the NFC-capable credit card), will the phone be constantly in active mode and thus consume more power?

It's not a debit card that can be scanned as a method of payment; I would just like to keep digital copies of all of my cards in a single place on my phone. My State Farm app gave me the option of saving a copy of my car insurance to Google Pay, and I'm hoping there's a manual way to do this for other cards. I've tried using the Add Pass feature, but there doesn't seem to be an option for just uploading an image.
