My HTC 610 froze and could not be rebooted. I had a game installed through google play and was continually signed in to the google acount. I was told that as long as I was signed in, the game's progress would be saved. I received my new HTC 610 today and signed in to google+, went into the google play menu, clicked on my apps and my games automatically transferred. When I opened up a game, the progress was not there. Is there any way to restore progress?

I have this problem as a game user. I have contacted the game developer and they told me that's an issue of google instead of their game. I have an old phone A with a Play Games account A that saved my game progress A. I have another old phone B with a Play Games account B that saved progress B. I now have a new phone C that signed in both Google accounts A and B. When I opened the game, it loaded my game progress A, but actually, I wanted to load progress B. Therefore I signed out my Play Games account A in the game settings inside my game, and signed in my account B. Restarted the game, but it still didn't load progress B. So I cleared the cache and data for both Play Games, Play Store, and my game app. I uninstalled my game app. Then I switched to my account B in Play Games and installed the game app again. However, it still only ran progress A. So I gave up to play progress B in my new phone C, and opened my game in my old phone B. Turns out my old phone B, even it only logins to Google Play account B, runs the game with progress A. None of my phone seems able to load progress B anymore now. Does that mean my Google account A overwrite game progress A onto B? How is this even possible and how can I fix it? Ideally, I want to run progress B in my new phone C. Or, at least my old phone B runs my game progress B back again.

I have an issue with achievements in Google Play Games. I've noticed this when playing Clash of Clans (but it's not limited to it. Every game that has Russian translation of achievements is affected). I used to use Russian language in the game and my Google account. Now my Google account and system language is set to Ukrainian, and the language of the game is set to English. Google Play country is set to Ukraine. However, Play Games continues to show achievements in Russian. I can't find how to change it. I've already asked for the help from the community, but got no answer after more than a week: https://support.google.com/googleplay/thread/251211195

I play some games by a developer and there is no cloud save so most players would use adb to back up and move their save files. Lately though when trying to back up the game, it's just producing a 1kb file, which from my understanding, usually means that they have backup allowed set to disabled. However, in the game's discord I asked about this and the developer says that the allow backup flag is still set to true. Is there any way on my end that I can see why the backup isn't working as expected? The command I'm using for backup is: adb backup -f "C:\myPath\backup.ab" com.default.name I am using a Samsung Galaxy S20+ 5G (SM-G986U) that has **not** been rooted. Thanks!

I've been experiencing a problem with the 'Play Games' app from Google on my tablet. When I go to my profile, I see a message showing me > Your Game Profile is hidden > Touch to change this setting SCREENSHOT In order to make it public, I touch the option, and press the Make Public button. Then, I see a popup saying that my profile is being updated and then a toast appears telling that my profile has been updated. However, when I go back and re-visit my profile, the message still persists meaning that my profile is *still* hidden. Also, my friend told me that he can't see me in his 'Players' list even though he follows me on Google+. This means that my profile is not public. So, **How do I make my profile public?** My tablet is running Android Kitkat 4.4.2 and has all the apps (Including Google Play Games) updated.

I have the samsung a32 5g. Is it a good idea to clear RAM often on your phone? I have 4GB total and notice it is always usually using 2GB, and 3GB when I have opened apps recently. To prevent app game crashes and increase performance, does cleaning RAM actually help? Should you turn off auto-clean since it might close apps you wanted open and would be more inconvenient than helpful? Does cleaning RAM manually work the same way a phone restarts and "cleans" RAM or is it different?

But since about 2 months, each time she tries to buy something, Google Play reject the payment by sending the error OR-PMSA-03 Does someone know what this error means and what might cause it ? We already tried to check with the bank, and according to them, there is no problem with the credit cart she is using, so the error might come either from the game (we already tried to uninstall/reinstall it) or the tablet itself Thanks, Méta

I have downloaded Dragon Quest 5 on my LG V60 UW. During the game there are transitions between a world/town/dungeon map and random combat encounters. Sometimes the combat encounters are a black screen where I can touch the buttons if I remember where they are and sort of ham-fist my way through it and the map area reappears after the combat is over. Other times the buttons don't work or ones I'm not used to pop up and I just have to kill the app and try again, losing some progress. Usually killing the app and starting over again restores the normal functionality. I have contacted Square-Enix support about the issue and their suggestion to me includes wiping out all my data and cache for my web browser as well as the google play store. Does this step make sense to anyone? Has this worked to fix issues with other apps before? To the best of my knowledge this game does not interact with the web browser in any way. Likewise the app store is a separate app, and I would not imagine that the game shares data with it.

When touch responsiveness is really important (other than urgent moments, actually that would be a more important context). I have a sm-j700, android 6.0.1, 1.34GB RAM (low RAM is the biggest problem). To play games like pubg mobil elite, or AnimA ARPG, I have to: - clean google play services app bloatful data (seems to cause generic overall slowdown, why they dont fix it?) - disable OS animations in developer mode - disable the weather forecast widget and set its update interval to none, that app is really problematic Edit: disable or uninstall (adb shell remove) most apps that insist on using RAM, was what really worked here. Use simple system monitor to track'em. Use system safe app remover for hints on what you can uninstall. And I always have to: - developer mode: stop all services using too much memory >= 10MB (least google play services and anything else you think is important like a firewall), and weather forecast app if it ever believes I need it running and causing trouble (sometimes I have to do this again while playing the game). And the only way to stop "samsung push service" from auto restarting is going to it's info and force stop it. - quickly start the game after that to grant it will use RAM before the annoying bloatful services have a chance to mess it up If I don't do that, suddenly touches are ignored, the game freezes for many seconds, touches freezes and the game keeps playing like we are holding the touch, and worst of all, the OS may crash and reboot... But all that is quite a lot of micromanagement lowering the quality of the android realm user experience making people everywere complaint, when it is actually easily fixable. Are there other tips I am missing? Could all that be automatic on a non rooted phone? Like a generic game launcher that grants all is perfect before running the game? But if it could work only on rooted, I would consider doing that. Should I split this making an answer? Did it work on your phone model and android version?

I have downloaded 3 new games: Idle Slayer, Shadow Hunter and Archero. They are all small games that don't require that much space or graphic processing. I was able to play them for 3 days with no issues whatsoever but out of nowhere they started to crash. I open them, it shows the title screen for a second and it closes entirely on it's own. This problem doesn't happen with any other games or apps I previously had installed. I have a Huawei Mate 20 Lite, it has 25,40 GB of free space out of 64 GB and 4 GB of RAM. I clean up space weekly. I cleared the caches of all the previously mentioned games and it still kept happenning. So I uninstalled Archero and Idle Slayer because I knew I had them connected to Google Games so I wouldn't lose progress. When I reinstalled them they worked but when I closed them and tried to open them up again, they had the same problem of crashing and it's been that way ever since. My phone's not old, it's been 1 and a half years since I've bought it and I haven't installed from nor visited sketchy websites. My software is up to date and it's not a problem of internet, I've checked that angle too. Can someone please shed light on what I can do to resolve this issue? I quite enjoy these games and I worry it'll affect future installments to my phone. Thank you from advance.

recently I tried to run android games on my laptop in *Gameloop* emulator (shooter games in general). after playing a couple of minutes in ***PUBG Mobile*** with the same headphone on, I noticed that the audio direction and footstep sound are far more clear and accurate than what it sounds on my mobile - I have a non-rooted Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro with the latest MIUI 12 on it. - and a headphone I purchased from a local store. I saw **this question** on this site, and if I'm not wrong, it says that I cannot play more than 2 channel audio on a 3.5mm headphone jack! But since I was able to hear more accurately on my pc with the same 3.5mm audio jack(aux), I am thinking that the android was the problem. Is there something I can change on my phone to make it output sounds like my pc, or even make it a little more accurate? **PS:** another thing I want to mention is, my mobile doesn't even split left or right channel while playing surround videos on youtube. I cannot tell if the sound is completely from the left channel or right because both sides of the headphone play the same sound. thanks for your suggestions.
