I charged my phone overnight for at least 6 hours. It was working fine when I checked my emails first thing this morning. Then, the phone restarted itself (not uncommon!). Since then, I can't turn it on. I have taken the battery out and left it out for around 2 hours; it still won't turn on. I have tried to turn it on in recovery (holding the down volume button and the power on button) and still nothing happens. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Nick

Android Store (com.baidu.androidstore) is automatically installed on my device without permission. It happens in last 2 weeks. Two months ago, I had installed Baidu Browser (com.baidu.browser.inter) but had uninstalled it 1 month later. What I did to solve: - Unknown sources option unchecked - Uninstall the app - Reboot the phone But after few hours it get automatically installed again. Did anyone here have the same problem? Got the HTC Sensation XE recently. Liking the phone and the beats headphones/ear-in phones that come with the phone. However, the minimum volume is just too LOUD!!! The beats integration was one of the reasons I bought the phone so I don't want to buy different headphone with volume control. Is there a way around this?

When any app on my android device started to read GPS (with GPS icon ON at notification area), my mobile data connection is OFF right away and then ON again after about 10-20 seconds. It happens in every app and that's really annoys me. I've tried to uncheck the "Google's Location Service" at "Location" settings menu, but it affects nothing. Anyone has same problem with me? What's the solutions?

Often when someone phones me, the phone just locks up. I can't slide the ring up to answer. Sometimes the ring moves a little.. sometimes not at all. I just can't do anything until the caller stops ringing. The phone becomes responsive again and I have to call them back. I have just upgraded to 4.0 from 2.3 and the problem is still there. I haven't rooted the phone or done anything special to it.. Apart from this the phone is always responsive and I don't really have any other problems. How can I sort this out? I have an HTC Sensation XE and the smartphone is becoming slower and worse every day, expecially compared to my Nexus 7 and Samsung Tab 2. Android on the phone is slow and lagged ( I have to wait even 6-7 second after clicking somewhere), the battery depletes very fast and the phone itself becomes very hot if I do something "intensive" like using google maps. the Android version on the phone is 4.0.3 and as far as I know, there is no update. What can I do to improve the phone? It's market value makes it not worth to sell and it is still working, so I would like to find a way to fix it somehow, what can i do? I like a lot the vanilla Android of the Nexus 7, there is any way that I can put a plain android on the HTC, keeping all the functionalities? I dont care of Htc Sense, but I want to be able to use the camera, 3g, wifi, GPS and so on. Maybe some kind of reset would be enough to bring it bask to it's best days?

I think there's a bug in Android where some *Alicia Han* appears to be calling. This happens *some times* if you hang up on someone calling you, or you have a missed call. The name appears in the instant before the correct name of the caller appears on the phone. To be specific: In the interim between the phone screen turns on and the content is loaded on the screen. All relevant hits I get on the subject is this tweet. So I'm not crazy! Have any of you seen this, and do you know what happens / who Alicia Han is? This has happened haphazardly since I got my HTC Sensation XE a year ago. Edit: I think the problem might be that there is a standard Label text for a Person entry (such as the ones in the Persons list) that is set to 'Alicia Han' and the label text is replaced when the Person information is fully loaded. Edit: The bug is reproducible (at least for me) by hanging up an incoming call. The name Alicia Han appears for a few milliseconds before the real name is loaded.

I have bought a HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio and I am told apparently water got inside and cant be turn on. However when i disassemble it, saw nothing, any oxidation residue. After some normal cleaning, I assembled the phone and tried to test it, it turns ON but unfortunately the screen does not work. Now I don't know what to do and changing the screen is expensive. Is there any way to make this sort of problem out?

I bought this phone in India and brought it home to USA. In India I had no issues in connecting to 3G network but after coming back to USA I am no longer able to connect to 3G network (AT&T). I know the phone operates in a different frequency but I wanted to know if there is a way to tweak this. I got excited when I saw a similar link posted on another forum but that did not work on my phone. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks...

I presently have an HTC Desire handset which has a physical Search button. If I long-press on that search button I get a pop-up screen titled "Complete action using" and then I have three options of programs to run. I have the options of running my AutoRotate Switch program, running the Quick Compose feature of my SMS program or running a Voice Search. I find this jolly handy mainly for the auto-rotate Switch fast access. However, I understand that the HTX Sensation XE handset doesn't have a hardware Search button, ( or maybe no dedicated UI search button at all) so is there an alternative method of getting at this list of application short cuts on the new handset? Alternatively does the version of Android on the Sensation XE ( ICS I believe) have any kind of QuickLaunch feature that applications can be added to? Rob
