Is there a way I can get it to not upload videos from my phone (or have it ignore things in a certain directory on my phone)?

Is there a possibility to take photos directly to dropbox? Currently Dropbox offers the Camera-Upload option, but it doesn't move, but copies files to Dropbox. This still leaves me to delete the local files by hand, hoping that the photos have already been uploaded. Similiarily there are solutions like FolderSync, but general purpose synchronization software is liable to misconfiguration and increased maintenance requirements compared to special-purpose software. Ideally I'd like to have a photo app, that doesn't keep local copies of the image, e.g. something like Cambox but for Android instead of iOS.

Does deleting content on my phone affect content on Google Photos?
If I delete photos and videos on my device to make more space for other content on my device, will it delete the corresponding content backed up on Google Photos or will it stay online?

I have the following use case: 1. Make photo with Android phone 2. Use that photo in a web application in Chrome, in my PC, by clicking on the button "attach file" which opens a file browser. I want to avoid being force to send anything anywhere. I just want to click the "attach file" button in the web page and be able to select the photo that I just made with my phone. Currently my workflow is a nightmare: 1. Make photo 2. Send it from my phone with WhatsApp, on a chat with myself 3. Go to my computer, to the https://web.whatsapp.com tab 4. Open the chat with myself 5. Download the photo to my computer 6. Go to the webpage where I want to access the photo. Instead of WhatsApp I could use email or any other sharing mechanism. It would still be a pita. I have sync setup in my Chrome for Android, so that passwords and so on are automatically shared. Can I do something similar with photos?

Google+ Auto Backup failed
When looking at my photos in the Google+ app, at the bottom is a footer that says "Backup failed" with a retry button. The backup still fails when I click Retry. Is there a way to find out why Auto Backup is failing so I can correct the problem?

DropBox Delayed Upload
How long does it normally take for Dropbox to upload photos that I take on my camera? I took some photos on Saturday and then my phone suddenly stopped working on Sunday. I keep checking my Dropbox online and it still hasn't uploaded. I have a Galaxy S5.

I just switched to using Cyanogenmod 9 on my HTC EVO 4G (and it works very well!). In CM7 and with other (stock included) ROMs, when I took a screenshot, it was automatically added to the Instant Upload reel in the Google+ app. **I liked this.** After switching, the screenshots no longer upload, even on forced "Upload All". I suspect it is because they are being saved to a location which is not scanned by the G+ app for instant upload. So does anyone know how to force a folder to be included? Or to change the default screenshots folder? **EDIT:** Note, my screenshots are being saved to Pictures/Screenshots/, which, to my knowledge based on Zuul's post, is included in the MediaScanner. Still no screenshots uploading. **UPDATE:** Found [this](http://suhuandroid.wordpress.com/2012/05/18/excluding-folders-from-media-scanning-on-the-samsung-galaxy-tab/) talking about a .nomedia file, and tried to scan the Screenshots folder, but there is no such file to be found.

I'm taking a video on my Nexus 5 and I want to view it on my computer immediately afterward. What's the quickest way to do that? Here are the options I know about, please tell me if there's something faster. - **Connect the phone to the computer with a USB cable:** Transfer would be blazing fast, but having to connect the phone physically would suck. - **Use Dropbox's auto-upload to get that video automatically to my Dropbox:** This is great in that there's no need for fiddling, but it takes way too long, as Dropbox is not smart enough to transfer the file directly from phone to computer through the LAN, but rather first uploads the entire file to the Dropbox servers, which can take hours. (The file is a few hundred MB big.) - **Use AirDroid.** The upload transfer is reasonable, but having to turn on the app, go to the browser, navigate to the file in their interface... That's annoying. Isn't there a way to have the video automatically transferred to my computer over LAN after it's taken? Or better yet, while it is being taken, to make it even faster?

During a Google+ Instant Upload, is it all or nothing?
I'm in the middle of an "Upload All" but I don't see anything online yet? Is it an all or nothing upload? My upload keeps getting stuck on the next to last item. It would be nice if I could see the first 356 of 358 items while the last 2 items are uploaded (or not).
