I've recently been given a **Prestigio Multipad PMP3370B** (Android 4.0) which I thought would be nice for my daughter to watch videos on. I took an 8GB micro SDHC card from my Windows 7 laptop (NTFS format) and put it into the SD card slot but it wasn't detected.
After a bit of a read I tried formatting it as FAT32/exFat and inserting it but for both formats when going to the system settings screen > storage screen there is no card listed and no option to do anything.
So I have two questions:
- How can I be sure the SD card is inserted correctly? It seems like it wants to slip out
- How can I get an SD card working with this device
I don't want to go out and get a new SD card until I'm sure it works correctly as otherwise it would be a waste of money.

I have a new **Prestigio Multipad 10.1**. It's a nice tablet but I'm having trouble connecting it to my WiFi. I can connect but it's slow or never seems to receive any data.
I've tried a lot but I haven't a clue why other devices I have work. My android phone, my laptop, iPod etc.
I bought two of these and they both have the same problem.
There must be a setting which will correct this problem.
I have tried changing channels, I have tried a WiFi fixer but:
- **Google store just times out.**
- **Chrome never comes back with any results .**
I'm pulling my hair out. Please help.

so I've had the Prestigio Multipad 2 Pro Duo 7.0 for a hell of a long time. Sitting in a box, the tablet worked fine when we bought it back in like 2015 for like 2 - 3 weeks and then we started to run into problems like the booting won't start or it just freezes randomly. And to fix it we'd have to wipe all the data using Android Recovery. Until we couldn't get the Recovery menu to pop-up anymore, the Volume Up/Down + Power did absolutely nothing. And here I am 7 years later trying to recover it yet again. Right now the tablet hasn't changed at all, still got the same problem and all that time sitting in a box did not help it. I was thinking of flashing new firmware to it and stuff like that but I have no idea how to do so if the tablet won't start (stuck on boot screen). There's no way for windows to recognize it.
What I tried in the meantime while playing around with it:
Replugging the battery back in
Installed drivers for ADB(still doesn't recognize it)
Tried booting into Recovery with Volume + Power buttons(tried it in every single scenario and it wouldn't work)
(later i realized ADB only works if the device is on..)
Literally any help would be appreciated.

I want to install ArchiLinux on my multipad. I have tried to root my Prestigio MultiPad (model: PMP3670B) using some rooting apps I had found on the Internet, but all of them have requested an adb driver, which I have problems installing on my XP because it won't autodetect the device. As mentioned in all the instructions I had set my device to USB Debugging Mode and to MTP Mode.
I downloaded SDK and, using a couple of instructions, including some on modifying android_winusb.inf and adb_usb.inf, several times tried to install it manually. The Device Manager displayed MultiPad as two devices (MTP and Android), that had an icon with a yellow question mark. The best I could achieve was making the Add Hardware Wizard detect the MTP (it still wont detect the Android).
Using The command prompt I opened platform tools folder and executed
adb kill-server
, adb start-server
and adb device
commands, but the "List of devices attached" was empty.
Also when I tried unchecking the USB Debugging Mode on the Multipad and my XP started displaying it as a Portable Media Player.
This is my first tabled, so I'm really inexperienced. I guess I'm making a mistake somewhere, but I can't figure out where.
Maybe someone has rooted this or similar Prestigio MultiPad on XP and could help me?

What could it be and how prevent such problem?

I have a Prestigio Multiphone 3400 with Android 4.2.2. The phone is new and not rooted.
In Settings -> Personal -> Location Access, there are two checkboxes:
1. Access to my location
2. Wi-Fi & mobile network location
Both of them are checked.
But the only application with working GPS is Google Maps.
I tried for example GPS Test and GPS Essentials , but they both show GPS is off / GPS is currently disabled.
In the Settings -> Device -> Apps -> (application name) there is "This app can access the following on your phone:" followed with "approximate location (network-based)" and "precise location (GPS and network-based)"
Why are the Google Maps special? And why other apps cannot use GPS, while the permissions are obviously granted?

I was playing around with a wireless mouse and a USB OTG cable and decided to restart the tablet for some reason (I don't remember why). After that, when the device booted I saw the setup wizard that started when the tablet was turned on for the first time.
The device now resets whenever I reboot, and I can't download & install apps from Play (error says that theres no memory), and I cannot enter recovery mode.
