I have a Pixel 7. For months now I've been using Keep for notes I enter by voice through Google Assistant. It now longer works correctly. Please help. Thanks in advance. ### Here's what I used to do Press the Assistant button, say "take a note" Assistant says, "alright, what would you like it to say" I say, "get a new phone" or whatever Assistant says, "alright, I've saved your note". And the note shows up in Keep, either through my phone or through the web. Life was grand. ### Here's what happens now Press the Assistant button, say "take a note" Assistant says, "alright, what would you like it to say" (or sometimes "What do you want it to say?") I say, "get a new phone" or whatever _Assistant says "Alright, which app do you want to use?"_ _OMG_ I have to say "Keep". ### What I want it to do NOT FREAKING ASK ME WHAT APP TO USE EVERY FREAKING TIME! #### What I've done to try to fix it. * Reboot - didn't help * Open Assistant Settings, verify Google Keep is checked - yes Keep is selected. * Open Assistant Settings, disable notes and lists, reenable - didn't help * Open Assistant Settings, disable notes and lists, reboot, reenable - didn't help * Install some other Notes and Lists provider - tried to install another list app. Didn't make a difference * Tried Gemini - OMG, near as I can tell, Gemini doesn't even know what a note is. Switched back to Assistant. Still didn't fix the issue. * Remove Keep, reinstall - same problem ### Possibly related Immediately prior to this behavior I installed an additional Gmail account in the Gmail app. I had three accounts installed, taking a note by voice worked fine. Installed a fourth account, and taking a voice by note started asking which app. Correlation does not imply causality, so I don't know that this was the cause. But for what it's worth, I uninstalled the fourth account, and it didn't fix the issue. ## Addendum It works correctly in the car, through Android Auto.

I have a Pixel 7 and am fully up to date with any software updates and WhatsApp version. Recently, I have been having an issue with WhatsApp audio/voice calls. During the call, if I try going to the home or lock screen or even opening another app for some reason if I talk, the other end isn't able to hear me. For the other line to hear me speaking on the phone, I need WhatsApp to be opened and for me to be on the WhatsApp screen. Once I leave the app or my phone goes to lock screen, I can still hear them perfectly fine, just I seemingly lose the ability to talk for them to hear me. I have no idea what the issue is, I've tried clearing the cache and restarting my phone, this problem has already been for a month or two. Does anyone have any suggestions/ideas?

I was wondering whether there exist any Android wheelchairs that run Android. These could allow people that were unable to move their limbs but could still use voice to control their wheelchair through voice by talking into a phone in the front part of the wheelchair connected to the wheelchair via Bluetooth. Currently, Android has something known as voice access to control your phone via voice. But it could be nice, if, this mechanism could be extended to connect to a wheelchair via Bluetooth and control it via voice. Perhaps the phone can also be powered on and off via a voice command. Not sure about the charging part, but I think a robotic part that could find the wall socket and charge wheelchair and phone simultaneously would be nice. This would be very useful to people with no arms and legs or to people whose arms and legs were paralyzed such as paraplegic or tetraplegic people, but who could still use their voice to connect to their phone, operate their wheelchair, move about and communicate. Thank you.

How to browse, an organized, textual list of commands that can be issued to Google Assistant

I was wondering whether there is any way (my guess, is that this would be almost like an exhaustive dictionary) to go though a textual list of all the Google voice commands you can issue to the Google app or to the Google Assistant app. Where can I find such a list? Can I find one on the system (perhaps, even within, the Google Assistant app itself, or, alternatively, within a special (related), app on the system)? Thanks

I was wondering whether there is any support or whether Android had any plans to support using Android under the rain (for instance, also in situations where an umbrella may not be enough because of the wind. Under these scenarios, the screen, gets all wet, and the rain drops activate touch, on the screen, getting the phone to respond to the pattern of rain drops that touches the screen, in a manner that becomes out of control of the finger swipes). Because of this, I thought it would be nice if it were possible to configure the phone to have the screen become unresponsive to both finger and rain touch (impossible to make these separate), and, whether, at the same time, it would be possible (via Android support), to activate screen touches and swipes or even interact in a completely separate but intuitive manner using a headset (microphone and earpieces) attached to the phone via the headset input (because rain could interfere with voice as well, as it makes some noise as it taps on the screen... but the screen remains still largely viewable). The voice input could be similar to TalkBack, but, instead of navigating with finger swipes, you could navigate (and enter input) via voice. I think this would be nice. Does Android support this? Would anyone be willing to implement such rainy weather support in Android? I think it would also be useful for people lacking arms or hands or who had these paralyzed but could still use voice to navigate and enter input into their phone. When will this behavior be implemented? Thanks.
