**Note**
- It doesn't open another app. Because I invoked Google, I am sure it is saved somewhere in Google space.
- I have been doing this on and off for years, as I couldn't take my hands off the wheel. But not knowing how to retrieve them. So, I don't think its the Samsung AI.
- "Hey Google" is within Android Auto, so its unlikely to be Samsung.

Take a photo and add a comment to it
I'd like to take a picture of something and add some comments/notes (e.g. while shopping, take a pic of something and make a note of its price). Doesn't have to be anything fancy. How to achieve that?

How can I export MIUI notes?
I'm using a Xiaomi RedMi 3S phone, whose MIUI environment includes a "Notes" app. The app itself does not have an export feature. Can I somehow locate/extract the note data - for all notes - into text files, or some other readable format? Note: I don't know where this data is stored.

I have a Xiaomi Redmi 9A that's been loyal to me for a few years. But afraid it will die on me after I noticed its battery started to drain by itself nowadays and it's also slow since longer.
I'm scared all my school, work, and other notes will be lost since I don't have the budget for a new Xiaomi phone yet, and even if I do get one, I don't know if it would sync over all of them to that, even if I do log into my Xiaomi account on that too.
Anyway, I have notes between them that would be better on PC, like my digital diary notes which also have photos (I would like to mix them into one Word file on PC). But I don't know any specific program to export notes from Mi-Cloud to PC as Word files (and yes, with intact images). (Speaking of 3500 notes and, like, 80-90% have HD images in them).
If anyone has any idea how to do this "NotesWithImages from Mi-Cloud to PC Word365", I'm welcoming them with spread arms!

I have a Pixel 7.
For months now I've been using Keep for notes I enter by voice through Google Assistant. It now longer works correctly.
Please help. Thanks in advance.
### Here's what I used to do
Press the Assistant button, say "take a note"
Assistant says, "alright, what would you like it to say"
I say, "get a new phone" or whatever
Assistant says, "alright, I've saved your note".
And the note shows up in Keep, either through my phone or through the web.
Life was grand.
### Here's what happens now
Press the Assistant button, say "take a note"
Assistant says, "alright, what would you like it to say" (or sometimes "What do you want it to say?")
I say, "get a new phone" or whatever
_Assistant says "Alright, which app do you want to use?"_
_OMG_
I have to say "Keep".
### What I want it to do
NOT FREAKING ASK ME WHAT APP TO USE EVERY FREAKING TIME!
#### What I've done to try to fix it.
* Reboot - didn't help
* Open Assistant Settings, verify Google Keep is checked - yes Keep is selected.
* Open Assistant Settings, disable notes and lists, reenable - didn't help
* Open Assistant Settings, disable notes and lists, reboot, reenable - didn't help
* Install some other Notes and Lists provider - tried to install another list app. Didn't make a difference
* Tried Gemini - OMG, near as I can tell, Gemini doesn't even know what a note is. Switched back to Assistant. Still didn't fix the issue.
* Remove Keep, reinstall - same problem
### Possibly related
Immediately prior to this behavior I installed an additional Gmail account in the Gmail app. I had three accounts installed, taking a note by voice worked fine. Installed a fourth account, and taking a voice by note started asking which app. Correlation does not imply causality, so I don't know that this was the cause. But for what it's worth, I uninstalled the fourth account, and it didn't fix the issue.
## Addendum
It works correctly in the car, through Android Auto.

How did I manage to create this note without meaning to? To be honest, I wondered if there might be something uninvited on my phone logging calls.

Wrote my life's memories on NOTES for the 2nd time. Last time, I switched from (lost) Huawei to Xiaomi and thought they were not restored because of that. This time, I restored my Redmi 10C data, stored on Google (not MiCloud) to Poco X5 Pro AND AGAIN LOST ALL NOTES including my notes for my book and financial data.
Does somebody know if I can FIND MY NOTES somewhere? My backup is 10 days old. I just restored it an hour ago (April 18, 2024).
I read that deleted notes can be restored for a couple of days.
Could maybe help if I wipe my phone via the Find My Device function when the thief charges it? Would they then be stored in the Google Cloud/MiCloud and could then be restored?

Sometimes, I want to take a voice note quickly. My ideal approach will look something like this:
1. Take the phone
2. Push a button
3. Speak a sentence (**without unlocking the device**)
4. Done
Later, I want to see a list of open voice notes (not handled yet) and reply them. No speech-to-text magic is needed. The primary focus is on speed.
Background: If I am talking to someone and want to take a note, I don't want to disturb the conversation since taking the phone, unlocking it, opening a note app, and finally typing it takes too long.
Best solution would be this: Start recording without looking at the phone. Like a dictaphone.
Anyway to get this thing get done?

Add phone number and note in Samsung Galaxy A72
My Samsung Galaxy A72 phone can add "notes" to phone numbers in my call log that do NOT have a contact associated with them. I want to add a lot of numbers to my block list and add notes to them, is this possible somehow with adb or with some sort of program (that I can write myself, if I have to)?

So far, I have a Tasker task with 3 actions: Variable Set (for the photo's filename), Take Photo (which takes the photo and sets the photo's filename), and Variable Query (for the caption). The issue I run into is getting the photo and caption into a note app. Is this done with the intent or share action? Can I get both the photo and text to be stored at the same time? Thanks.

I bought a new phone and it didn't have any note app aside from Google Keep. I mess around with Google Keep and didn't find any import option so I try ColorNote.
Then from my old LG phone, I tried to share the memo, but the format is
.lqm
. When I force them to open with ColorNote or WPS Office, it broke, and only random symbols and jumbled words remained. The share option didn't have a share as picture/PDF/text, just share as .lqm
.
Is there a way to migrate this? Would be nice if I can use Google Keep, but ColorNote is ok too.

How do I make sure my notes and highlights from Google Play Books are saved when I factory reset my Android phone?
I need to unlock my Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini, Android ver. 4.2.2, and I'm not sure if the notes I took on my books using the Play Books app will still be there after the reset. I need all those notes for school and it would take forever to copy them all down.

I lost some notes from the app Samsung Notes and I think I know why or at least how to reproduce the event. This happens when the phone has no space left (0 free bytes). When whatsapp app makes a backup at 2am, it eats a lot of space and then a few minutes later it comes back to normal. When I click in a note to open it while the phone has 0 free bytes, the note doesn't open anymore (message: "Can't open note. File corrupt"). It also doesn't let me share it anymore or convert it to pdf or text (message: "File corrupt or not supported). The phone is a Samsung Galaxy A5. I'd like to know if the notes are really lost forever or there is something I could do. Thanks.

I have ~1400 S-Notes that use ~40 GB of internal memory on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Where are the S-Note files located? How do I access them directly? Is there a way the enable access to the S-Note files? Are there any tools that give access to all files on the phone?
SmartSwitch doesn't have enough room to back them up anymore (needs 23 GB of internal memory only apparently).
- I've tried finding them using the Android Studio Device File Explorer on the Note 8, but can't find the files. On Samsung Galaxy Note 2, they were located at
/storage/emulated/0/S Note
. This directory on the Note 8 has only one small text file.
- I've also made backups using ADB (adb backup -apk -obb -system -shared -all -f F:\samsung\note8\2021_09_06_backup.ab
), but the backup does not seem to contain the S-Note files. It also does not backup everything maybe due to lack of space.
- An ADB pull (adb pull /data/data/com.samsung.android.app.notes F:\samsung\note8\
and adb pull "/storage/emulated/0/S Note" F:\samsung\note8\
) of that directory only returned the small text file.
With only 500 MB of free internal space left, I've resorted to having to delete old notes now! The S-Note trash holds onto the deleted files for 15 days before actually deleting them but gives the file space back somehow.
I don't understand why I have to work so hard to access my S-Notes files. It's hard to use the S Note files on my Windows computers now after an S-Note upgrade that changed the file format.
