I want to have links that open certain OneNote notes. I was told in comments of a former question that we can achieve this like that: - Open OneNote on Windows, rightclick the note tab and choose "Copy Link of this note" - This gives two links, of of them beein like this: onenote:https://d.docs.live.net/ ... - Clicking on this link on an android device should open the same note page with the OneNote app Unfortunately, this is not the case for me! Here is the screenshot of how a Desktop-generated OneNote-link looks on my android phone: link on phone If I click on it the browser opens, not the app. In fact I am not too surprised because the beginging of the link, i.e. onenote:, is apperently not part of the link. Further, I noticed that under Settings -> Apps -> Apps -> OneNote -> Opening standards only the following formats are listed under supported links: *.sharepoint-df.com, onenoteresume.page.link, *.sharepoint.de and *.sharepoint.com. So the suggested link format onenote:https://[linktonote] is not listed here. Can I somehow add it here? And: is the beginging onenote: important at all since it is not recognized as part of the link? I don't understand why the link does not open the app for me but does for others.

I want to make shortcuts to OneNote notes on android in a certain folder (not app launcher folders, but folders visible in a file manager app). To do so I want to create a .url file containig the link to the note. Unfortunately, it is not possible to share notes with OneNote, thus I have no idea how the links look like. I was given the idea to enable developer mode on my android device and then to check the logcat while tapping the Android home screen shortcut. This should reveal the full Intent which contains the link of the note. I tried to do so but I don't understand the android developer mode. **Is this a possible way to find out the link of a shortcut of the home screen? Can anyone who succeeds in this share a OneNote home screen shortcut link**? I would like to know the link format so that I can make those shortcut link files by myself. ____ **What I mean by "link format"**: For example, I figured out that simply adding ?si= at the end of a Spotify web link opens the app. Compare https://open.spotify.com/track/3Bp8X5z1jgq7HS0tCr0liJ which opens the song in browser to https://open.spotify.com/track/3Bp8X5z1jgq7HS0tCr0liJ?si= which opens the same song in the app. I hope there is a simple solution as this for OneNote: Once I know the differences in format I can easily make android shortcuts from web links.

I'd like to make use of an Android tablet to write on OneNote pages that I'm actively viewing in a Windows computer. From the Windows computer, I get two links when I right click on a page and select "Copy link to page". These links look like the following:
https://onedrive.live.com/view.aspx?resid= ...
onenote:https://d.docs.live.net/ ...
The second link that starts with onenote:https://d ... is useful when I want to jump to the page on another Windows computer - I can feed it to the Run window, and the OneNote app will display the page I need it to go to. ---- **Question**: with **adb**, can I achieve a similar operation by feeding the second link to the Android tablet, through some "intent"? I know very little about Java and have no idea how to make use of these related posts . Mainly, I'm looking for a long adb command with appropriate flags that may take, likely, the second link as input and have the Android tablet open the page by responding to some intent. Eventually, with the long adb command, I see myself wrapping it in a bash function, and calling it by feeding in the full link that starts with onenote:https://d .... ---- **Update1**: thanks to user M. A.'s answer , I can send the onenote:https://d.docs.live.net/... link to the Android tablet - However, OneNote APK seems to only comprehend up to the section name in the onenote:... link despite the whole thing consists of page-specific pointers. Here is a demo where I fed in a **full link** pointing to a page, which was sent as an intent to only go to the relevant **section**. enter image description here PS: in OneNote, things are organized as Notebook/Section/Page/Subpage. In the screenshot above, the Notebook is "Paperless", and I have masked out the name for the section and page. ----- **Update2**: for the full page-specific URL to work, we actually need to escape the & signs in §ion-id, &page-id and &end.

is there any way in the Android App to save an image from a notebook to local sdcard except for taking a screenshot which in fact gives me a quality loss, especially on detailed high-res pictures? Thanks!

Microsoft user authentication on OneNote app?
Everything on my Galaxy Note4 is up to date and working fine. No dice in attempting to troubleshoot so far with a few of the usual suspects - update OS and app software, clear app data & cache.

How do I remove the OneNote Badge from the Android home screen?
I don't mind OneNote itself, but the badge icon stuck on the edge of the screen gets in the way of some controls in other apps. I know it can be moved, but how do I remove it?

In Microsoft OneNote 2013 for Android, is it possible to move a page from one folder or section to another?
In Microsoft OneNote 2013 for Android, is it possible to move a page (aka note) from one folder to another or even just from one section to another? This seems like very rudimentary functionality, yet appears impossible.

I have connected the tablet to my computer using a cable, and I can see the files on the tablet. I want to copy the cached OneNote file on to my PC using windows explorer. I have searched the Android file system but cannot locate any OneNote files. Does anyone know if the OneNote cache is accessible in Windows Explorer and if there is someway to recover the notes I have put into OneNote? Regards Muz

As I use notes on my phone primarily for quickly capturing information and reliably finding it later, this delay is too long. Google Keep does this far better, but I hate to have my notes in two places. I would be very happy to be able to find a way to add simple (plain text files would be ok but not perfect) notes very quickly and have them somehow synced to the unfiled notes section of my OneNote, which is on Skydrive.

I'd LOVE to be able to work with my notebooks from my Android browser or in some other fashion. I'm aware of MobilNoter. As near as I can tell, it doesn't leverage the live.com storage that I'm already syncing to. If that's true then it isn't the answer I'm after. Anyone else using OneNote with or on Android? If so, how? *(Please don't suggest I switch to Evernote. It is nice, but it ain't OneNote!)*
