How to make sure OneDrive synchronization is up to date?
I use OneDrive on my Android phone for years. And pictures from my camera album were always uploaded to OneDrive. Now, since a few weeks, this upload is not consistent. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. It seems all is uploaded until the last day. But often pictures from the last hours are not uplo...
I use OneDrive on my Android phone for years. And pictures from my camera album were always uploaded to OneDrive.
Now, since a few weeks, this upload is not consistent. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.
It seems all is uploaded until the last day. But often pictures from the last hours are not uploaded.
Sometimes I can trigger uploading by disabling WLAN and then enabling it again. Or sometimes by restarting the phone. But sometimes I just don't see any way how to upload the pictures.
Currently I have OneDrive version 7.22.3 which seems to be the latest version.
Do you have any idea what I can do that the upload of all pictures works automatically again? Or how can I trigger manually the upload of the newest pictures?

Can I set up Onedrive for Business on my phone (Galaxy S23) so that it uploads files only? I know it's not exactly sync, but I can (or at least I could) do that in standard Onedrive (both on the phone via Samsung Sync or on my PCs via the app), but apparently Onedrive for Business is the cheaper version of the standard one, with functionality missing...
Normally, Samsung doesn't allow integration with Business version, and I don't want to pay again for storage, this time M365 family plan...
I do not need the media on my phones, the photos and videos I take on my business phones just have to be stored somewhere, anywhere really, except on my phones.
Is there a way to do it? I scoured the net and it seems the answer is "No", but since I am admin of my whole M365, maybe there's something I can do? I can see Power Automate option in ODfB, but never used that before, is it worth investing my time or M365 Family account is the only option to make it happen?

I am playing around with Microsoft Intune enrollment of Android phones, and I have noticed that I am partially able to use Microsoft 365 apps for Android.
I have 2 phones, that are wifi-only.
* A fully managed Huawei P10 lite running Android 8
* A Fairphone 2 running Android 10 with a work-profile
Both phones can connect to the internet, enrol into Microsoft Intune, install apps.
However, only the Huawei is able to log-in with the Microsoft 365 Office apps, i.e., OneDrive et al.; the Fairphone 2 fails with the error message declaring that no network connection is available.
My Google results are full of similar complaints, however, there's either no possible solution posted, or some seemingly random "tips" such as clearing the app's cache, un-installing and re-installing (an all time Microsoft-support classic), and more various and wonderful actions to take.
I have seen suggestions to change DNS settings to use e.g. the 8.8.8.8 DNS server from Google, however, our guest wifi already uses this DNS; to no avail. While all other apps connect to the internet, Microsoft'S finest 365 apps for Android are blissfully unaware of the available network.
Has anyone from this community some wisdom to share?

I've a Samsung Galaxy A8 phone (android 8.0.0) and it's connected to my OneDrive accounts (both personal and business) where I store music.
I've tried downloading music to my phone, but I could only make the files available off-line, no proper download.
I've Google Play Music and Samsung Music installed, neither can browse OneDrive off-line files. I can play them with a very basic player (probably skin of one of before mentioned players?), but that's not a solution for me.
How can I listen to music from OneDrive?

I would like to put a shortcut on my Android phone's homescreen to a Word document file on OneDrive. When I touch the shortcut, the Microsoft Word app should open and allow for editing the file. If I save in Word, then the document should be uploaded to OneDrive online storage.
The OneDrive app allows me to put a shortcut (widget) to a folder but not a file. ES File Explorer allows me to put a shortcut to a file stored locally on the phone but not on a file stored on OneDrive.
I figure I need to download an app. Which app will work?
This question is similar except it is for Google Drive.

Installing an APK from the Google Drive app on Android works fine for me after setting Google Drive on the "Install from external sources" list under Security settings to 'yes'. But the Microsoft OneDrive app does not appear on the list (even though it is installed), so I can't set it to yes. When I tap on an APK in OneDrive it just downloads it, it does not install it. There is also no permission for the app to "Install unknown apps" under app settings.
From the search references, I found OneDrive is included as a source from where an APK can be installed (sideloaded) and have not found any search reference indicating it is not, but I cannot get it to install from there. Have tried on three different Android devices.
What am I missing? Can anyone here install an APK from OneDrive on Android?

Does anyone know if the OneDrive app has issues with certain Office documents? This particular spreadsheet has 168 worksheets - could that be a problem for the app?

How can I get Onedrive to automatically save screenshots to a different folder than "Camera Roll"?
