My phone is running MIUI 12.5 (rooted if it matters) and some apps just push individual notifications so each notification I get, shows up in its own bubble instead of showing them all under a group of notifications for this same app.
It's really hard since it takes up all my screen and if I want to search for notifications from a certain app I have to go over all the other notifications from the other apps..
Is there a way to force notifications from the same app to be grouped together in my notification bar?

I'm in Malaysia, and my current phone is a Redmi Note 11T Pro China Version, and according to this Malaysia 5G supported bands , my current phone's U Mobile only doesn't support n26 and n28b, and according to this U Mobile 5G Compatible Devices . I then used this Malaysia 5G Supported Bands website to check for supported phones and also found many phones that support n28b but not n26. I strongly suspect that I can't receive 5G signal because it don't support n28b band!

I am trying to create some apps on my xiaomi smartphone (MIUI 8), but when I try to run an app, the error
INSTALLATION_CANCELED_BY_USER
appears. I found that the problem is that I must enable the "Install via USB" option from developer settings. When I try to do so, I get a screen that says I have to login/signup with an MI account in order to enable this option, which is something I am not willing to do. So, I have 3 questions:
- Why did they make it neccessary to provide an account for enabling an option like this?
- Is there any way I can bypass the MI login screen and enable the option?
- The reason I don't want to connect my phone to an MI account is that I am concerned about personal data being uploaded. Is it a logical concern?

Can a Xiaomi Poco-M6-Pro sync notes from Mi-Cloud what I made on my Xiaomi Redmi 9A with all images in the notes intact?
After long discussions with my IT friend He told me about this model. So I will replace my 9A 2GB RAM with a Poco-M6-Pro 12GB RAM 512GB Dual SIM soon. My question is do they share the same built-in notes app and can my notes sync over from the 9A to the M6 Pro from Mi-Cloud?

How can I export MIUI notes?
I'm using a Xiaomi RedMi 3S phone, whose MIUI environment includes a "Notes" app. The app itself does not have an export feature. Can I somehow locate/extract the note data - for all notes - into text files, or some other readable format? Note: I don't know where this data is stored.

I also want to let you know that during the procedure i left the *oem unlocking option disabled* and ran the tool
So after the device's bootloader was unlocked (ss attached)
I noticed that the OEM unlocking option was still active (meaning I can flip the button and it will just ask for the pass and warn me and enable the option: again ss attached)
**So my question is is my device properly unlocked? OR Did I mess up with procedure ?**
I know i could dial
Now what does this mean ? Is it still locked ?
I would really thankful if someone can help

*#*#7378423#*#*
*(which doesn't work in miui devices)* or using *fastboot method* [mentioned here](https://android.stackexchange.com/questions/73567/how-to-check-if-your-bootloader-is-unlocked)- *but the problem is that my device's usb port is damaged in a way that charging works but MTP or any other option doesn't (Yeah I tried multiple usb cables, brought a brand new from official store and multiple devices)* or is there any app to do that ?
**EDIT :**
Okay now I tried by adjusting the chord into the port and running getvar unlocked

I have a Xiaomi Redmi 9A that's been loyal to me for a few years. But afraid it will die on me after I noticed its battery started to drain by itself nowadays and it's also slow since longer.
I'm scared all my school, work, and other notes will be lost since I don't have the budget for a new Xiaomi phone yet, and even if I do get one, I don't know if it would sync over all of them to that, even if I do log into my Xiaomi account on that too.
Anyway, I have notes between them that would be better on PC, like my digital diary notes which also have photos (I would like to mix them into one Word file on PC). But I don't know any specific program to export notes from Mi-Cloud to PC as Word files (and yes, with intact images). (Speaking of 3500 notes and, like, 80-90% have HD images in them).
If anyone has any idea how to do this "NotesWithImages from Mi-Cloud to PC Word365", I'm welcoming them with spread arms!

Xiaomi and its sub-brands run an Android skin called MIUI (recently updated to HyperOS). MIUI/HyperOS has a feature called Second Space. This is an excellent feature, it is like you have two completely separate phones in one device.
I believe that Xiaomi Second Space feature is an impllementation of AOSP Android multi-user functionality.
The unique aspect of Xiaomi's implementation is that the phone will launch one or the other of the "spaces" from the lock screen, based SOLELY on the PIN of fingerprint used for authentication on the lock screen. I.e., there is no need to select one or the other space (user) before authenticating to the selected space. It knows which space you want to go to, based on your authentication.
This is an incredibly convenient feature.
I have played with bare Android multi-user functionality on and older vesion of Android (Pixel 3, Android 12). The multi-user implelentation is clunky. The clunkiness is best described by example. I will use the terms User1 for the main user and User2 for the subsequently-created second user profile.
Suppose I sign in as User1, then lock the phone. I now want to sign in as User2.
With my Xiaomi, I can do this by simply entering the PIN for User2 on the lock screen.
With the Pixel 3 / Android 12, the process is as follows:
Remember that my last sign-in was a User1.
Enter the PIN for User1. (If I try entering the PIN for User2, it tells me wrong PIN).
Pull down the shade to select User2.
Enter the PIN for user2.
My question is this:
Are there any other Android phone brands the allow simple switching between users based SOLELY on authentication credentials, without first having to select the user you want to authenticate as?

I think that it's because of the Android-system is actually blocked by a kind of firewall, as I see it's not even trying to revoke the services, though my device in connected to the internet.
I am using the Xiaomi Pad 6 with the Global version of MIUI 13, I also have Xiaomi Pad 5 (Global version of MIUI) but with same problem on HyperOS.
This isn't my first time disabling the authorizations as I've done that before on Redmi Note 10 Pro but with the Indian version of MIUI

So, I was bored and I decided to check some developer options to see what they could do. I found this option called 'smallest width', at first, I set it from 392 to 100 and it automatically set itself to two hundred something, I believe. So, I did the same thing, but this time, I set it to 1000, thinking that it would automatically set itself to the maximum value possible... But it didn't. Right after pressing 'Ok', my screen became so small and a message popped up saying "System is not responding", then my phone restarted to recovery.
Unlike many people who were facing this problem on the internet, my phone's bootloader is unlocked, I have TWRP recovery installed, my phone is rooted and I had USB debugging on. I rebooted to bootloader and tried
I don't know if it's okay that it's saying
adb devices
, but my phone wasn't there. After that, I booted to TWRP, clicked Mount, checked all boxes (I couldn't check storage), and clicked Mount USB Storage. This time, my phone showed up on the list. Check the image below.

recovery
instead of device
, but I ran adb shell wm density reset
and it didn't work. The same with adb shell wm size reset
.
As you can see in the image, there was no error, but the phone still didn't want to boot. After that, I tried to check my current screen size and density using adb shell wm size
and adb shell wm density
, but there was no response.
I also checked the build.prop
file in /system
and found this line persist.miui.density_v2=440
, I changed it to 220, but nothing happened.
Now my question is, why is there no response when I run adb shell wm size/density
? It doesn't work in the TWRP terminal as well. Is this command supposed to be in the /sbin
directory? Because I couldn't find it there. How can I add it if it is not there? And lastly, if you can suggest any other way to fix my phone that would help me a lot.

I wanna ask regarding the problem I've got after failing to install an app through an external store (TapT*p). I tried to retry it a few times until I had enough, and it happened that my storage spaces increased a lot after installation failures.
What I've been trying until now
- Cleaning every cache using a disk analyzer or something like that
- Rebooting my phone
But it seems the data persists and won't be gone. I think I know what I have to do... but I don't want to do a factory reset because of this matter, and my phone state is unrooted thus I can't do deeper regarding the issue.
It seems I've only seen one of the same problems in this forum, and the author says the problem was fixed in 3 days, could it be true tho? https://android.stackexchange.com/q/231266/44325 .
Anyone who has the same problem or knows how to deal with it, please tell me the way!

I lost all my website shortcuts on the homescreen on Android 11. I didn't know of **this bug** due to which all web shortcuts on Android can suddenly disappear at any time. **How to get the shortcuts or the link URLs of these shortcuts back?**
Also see [How do I backup my website homescreen shortcuts?](https://android.stackexchange.com/questions/224433/how-do-i-backup-my-website-homescreen-shortcuts/256780) where I described the two things I tried. Briefly, in Xiamoi Mi Note 10 (MIUI) under Backup and restore one can backup the the System launcher.
The problem is that I'd also like to restore things between my last backup and now if possible because it's been a while since I did the last backup of the Systemlauncher and that when restoring from that file, the homescreen shortcuts are not restored. When copying the backup file located in /MIUI/backups/AllBackup to a Linux computer and running
strings /directory/AllBackup/timestamp/Systemlauncher\(com.miui.home\).bak > ~/backupfile.txt
I can read the file with a text editor but the actual links seem to be encrypted or simply unreadable. When I search for com.miui.home.launcher.DEEP_SHORTCUT
I can only see the titles of the shortcuts and there even are some problems with that.
The mobile Web browser didn't warn about this bug which is still not fixed by Google (or whoever is responsible for closing it) so I think most people only learn about this once they lost all shortcuts so that they start to use other methods to save websites like browser bookmarks. I have the latest Android updates and I also have problems deleting app caches. I had many shortcuts and many of them were important so I need them back. **How to read the links in the .bak file?** Often the title is incomplete and they all have a shortcut_id
but that ID appears only once in that file.

On Xiaomi Mi Note 10 I can't clean the caches of apps.
A workaround for cleaning the caches that worked partially was to make the Google PlayStore display the warning about missing disk space for an app update (by filling all available disk space) and clicking "Zum Speicherplatz" (go to disk space) then clicking on "Data in cache" to delete that cache. However, that does not delete all the app caches, only what is detected by the playstore and cache-cleaning apps that do not show the same don't work at all.
When I try deleting the app caches with a cleaning app, it runs without an error but no disk space is actually freed up afterwards. Also it displays that lots of system app each have a cache of the same size (for example 50 MB each and 1 GB overall) and doesn't display the actual apps with large caches, but this may vary. It does not run without an error with the cleaning app "1 tap cleaner" which doesn't work at all because the buttons are greyed out when it tries doing the below automatically.
When I go to manage apps and open an app there, the "delete data" (and the "force quit") button(s) are disabled (greyed out) and "disk space" displays "0,00 B". On a previous phone the same apps also had a lot of data in the cache but I could always delete them manually and with cache cleaning apps.
Here's how I know that the caches of some apps are larger and that they haven't been deleted (beyond that there should be more disk space left): there's a stock app "Deep cleansing" ("Tiefenreinigung") and it shows which apps take up a lot of disk space (when clicking on "Apps" on the page). The buttons for the apps are also greyed out for but I could delete their large caches on another Android phone. Screenshots:
----
An app taking up a lot of storage space with its cache that is not shown in the first screenshot is the stock Gallery app by Mi UI which can't be deinstalled and also has the delete data button greyed out. At least that what a scan with SD Maid shows.
When I go to "Deep cleansing" ("Tiefenreinigung") app data at the bottom only shows Uninstall (no more uninstall button). It shows the data size right next to the apps but these can't be sorted and **most apps show 0.00B** which is clearly false.
A way to still see the largest apps is to use the app **Cx file explorer -> Analyze -> Apps** and it shows multiple apps that have a file-size much larger than it should be which doesn't change or doesn't change much after deleting the cache with a cache cleaner app that shows the same thing as Playstore for deleting caches. Their filesize is much smaller when uninstalling and reinstalling the app. In the right screenshot you can see how the delete data button is disabled and this is the case for most apps. **Is this normal for this phone?** The stock cleaning app doesn't delete as much data as the app says it would delete so even that can't delete that data.
The only cache cleaning tools that work look like
this (screenshot taken from here )
but it also doesn't delete all the cache when clicking on "Cached data":

On Xiaomi Mi Note 10 there are three prompts asking for authorizations:
* When opening Bereinigung (the stock cleaning app; I tried using that because I still can't delete caches with Xiaomi Mi Note 10 )
* Two prompts when installing any new app (I think it used to be two)
I accidentally pressed confirm to the prompt when opening Bereinigung (shown in the left/first screenshot) and I think I accidentally pressed confirm to one of two prompts after installing an app (now it only shows one prompt when installing an app shown in the right/second screenshot).
The text says something like (it's in German in the screenshot):
>In order to use the basic features of this service, you must agree that Xiaomi will collect, process and use your personal data
and
>Grant authorization
>Virus scan is provided by Xiaomi. To be able to use this feature normally, you must allow Xiaomi to collect, process, and use your personal information (including the data related to your usage of this feature which will be used for content recommendation) in accordance with the Privacy Policy
I didn't actually meant to press confirm but the button appeared where I meant to press another button just before the prompt showed up. And I don't even want to use these features either.
**I'd like to revoke these authorizations, how can I do so?**
I checked "Authorization & Revocation" in the settings, but there
* it does not display the Bereinigung app or general app install related authorizations but just a few apps that I haven't disabled so far: "Updater", "Updater for System-Apps" and "Security"
* authorizations can't be revoked for the few remaining app: when pressing revoke it just loads "Revoking authorization" and then displays "Could not revoke authorization"; and for the apps that this worked it required retrying it many times.

My Redmi Y2 phone was working fine for long time but suddenly I found that "VOLUME UP" key is not working so I tried to restart the phone but it got stuck into Recovery 3.0 screen. It only gives 3 options:
- Reboot
- Wipe Data
- Connect with MIAssistant
Pressing on "Reboot" displays two option:
- Reboot to System
- Go back to Main Menu
Pressing "Reboot to System" reboots device and again goes back to "Recovery 3.0" screen, this keeps going on. I don't want to loss data so I didn't try "Wipe Data" option. Its not moving out of this screen no matter how may times I reboot it. I tried FAST BOOT by pressing (VOLUME DOWN + POWER) button, but it has no effect, it shows logo for a moment and ended up to same "Recovery 3.0" screen.

I'm using a Xiaomi smartphone with MIUI 14 sporting Android 13. However it doesn't limit the actual speed: I've tried it setting it to 128 and 256KBps and it still downloads at the max. speed my WiFi offers.
Am I probably not alone with this problem and this is a bug or not supported by Xiaomi?
Or what am I doing wrong?

The option to download and set high-quality voices in Android text-to-speech is not available in MIUI 14. Is there a way to do so?
