A few days ago, I logged out of my Instagram account
when I wanted to log in again. The error below appeared in three of my accounts, but I could log in to any other account.
“Error: Sorry, there was a problem with your request”
I erased all data and documents from my iPhone 13 Pro Max, but the data did not erase. The accounts show me again and the same error.
I deleted Instagram data from iCloud, but the accounts shown in the picture remain in the application.
I want to take this step because there is an error in the application; I can log in from my accounts on any other phone.
Is there a solution to this problem?

I'm having an issue where I'm not able to promote posts on the Instagram app. I was told by Facebook support to delete the app but when I reinstall Instagram after deleting it, all my data and account info is restored.
It's repopulating the same accounts that I had signed in from that device earlier, so I assumed that it may be some local data. It should ask for a fresh sign-in.
How do I completely delete the Instagram app and all documents & data associated with it from my iPhone?

HDR playback on iOS social media apps
When I'm scrolling through reels on Instagram, every now and then (becoming more and more frequent) I will come across a video that slowly turns up the brightness a considerable amount (at night it becomes truly painful). The like and comment buttons (which are white normally) will slowly become des...
When I'm scrolling through reels on Instagram, every now and then (becoming more and more frequent) I will come across a video that slowly turns up the brightness a considerable amount (at night it becomes truly painful). The like and comment buttons (which are white normally) will slowly become desaturated gray colors. I'm assuming this is because the HDR video is overlayed with SDR content so it looks desaturated in comparison.

This phenomenon happens to me and a lot of people I have asked, however it also doesn't happen to people with older models (iPhone XR does not seem to expereince). But, when I look up what iPhones support HDR playback, it says iPhone 8 and later. So I'm wondering a couple things:
1. Is this phenomenon called "HDR Playback"
2. What phone models support this annoying "feature"
3. Is there a way to disable this? Other people on other forums have said turning on lower power mode disables it, but I was wondering if there was a more proper way?
I get that this can be useful for artists and pro videographers and the like, but when this HDR colorspace stuff is done on amateur videos it gets super annoying because they are frequently just overexposed and it hurts my eyes.

Using iOS 15.7.6 on an iPod Touch, when I go to any photo in my camera roll and press "share," the very first option listed is a profile picture from a random account I follow on Instagram. I have never sent any photo to this account and I never will. I am worried that if I tap on it by accident, the selected photo will immediately be sent to this account without any confirmation (but I'm not going to test this); but even if there is a confirmation dialog, it's annoying having this random profile picture show up when I'm not doing anything with Instagram and don't intend to.
How can I hide the Instagram contacts from the "share" list in Photos so I don't see this all the time?
This is a dedicated list of contacts that appears *above* the list of apps through which I might want to share the picture. I don't mind Instagram appearing in the list of apps (though I'll probably never share a photo in IG messenger) but I don't want the IG contacts appearing above the app list or appearing at all.

After a few months I noticed that my iPhone is using my location quite frequently. This has different reasons, some of them are legit, some not so much.
In the settings you can see which apps requested your location frequently.
I did set up the location settings as following:
- **Instagram:** NO Location ACCESS
- **Weather:** Location access while using or while using widgets
- **Maps:** Location access ONLY WHILE USING
- **Find my:** Turned ON
- ...
However, I noticed recently besides **Weather** and **Find my** using my location very frequently, **Maps** is also using my location quite often just after I launched Instagram although the Maps app not being launched or running a while ago.
*Is there anything I can do about this?*
*Did some of you experience some similar behavior?*
This kind of gives me the feeling Insta is kinda using my location over a bypass or something.

What I have done so far:
1. tested on Wi-Fi
2. tested on cellular data
3. turned on/off assistant (to smart switch between Wi-Fi and cellular data)
4. reinstalled instagram app
5. rebooted phone
Other apps are working ok, the problem exists only in instagram.
EDIT: Seems like from 2020-12-18 the problem is gone on iOS 14.2. I suspect Instagram app update has resolved the problem. iOS 14.3 seems fine also.

On my iPhone 13 Pro, I do not have the same features available as on my friend's iPhone 13 Pro.
For example, in Stories, I cannot post location and tap a few times on it to change it to black background and white text. While I can tap and change some designs I do not have that particular one.
Also, the layout of things does differ. When I open to add text to a story at the bottom I do not have @mention and Location tabs
**What I tried**
1. Reinstalled Instagram several times - still no changes
2. Tried to log on from my friend's phone to my profile - Yes, I got the feature
3. Checked the app versions - yes, we do have the same
4. Wrote to Instagram support - no answer
5. Checked on older iPhone 11 - it has this feature
What other things I could try??

in the past I’ve been able to click a video in iCloud drive, and the option to ‘save to camera roll’ has been there. From there, I can use the instagram app and it will find the video stored in my photos/videos on the phone.
Now this option isn’t there. I can’t find a way to save the mp4 files to my phone at all. It’s not a huge file (35MB) but sending it to myself by email hasn’t worked.
Clicking 'open with instagram’ on the video in iCloud Drive does nothing, the menu goes away but it doesn’t open. If I click ‘open with winzip’ it will open in that app and allow me to play, but again gives me no option to save.
I managed this two weeks ago several times and it let me save it. What can I do???

Sometimes when I take a photo I like to share it with friends and family, so I press the button that points up, which then leads to a screen where I can share the photo with facebook, flickr and several other things that I don't use.
Recently I decided to use instagram as a means of sharing photos, since I had noticed some of my friends on facebook doing it.
I installed the instagram app on my iphone and have used it a few times to share photos, but it is missing from the list of things to share with immediately after taking a photo navigated to from the photo gallery.
How can I get instagram to appear in the list of destinations that I see when I decide t share a photo from my phone?

How do you clear all Instagram app settings and what it remembers *after* you have logged out? So that it doesn't remember (i.e. forgets) your user name so that it doesn't pre-fill in this field at the login screen?
There are options to clear data in the Settings screen, but these are too blanket and coarse in that they clear everything - I only want to clear one thing.
Problem seen on Sep 2010 (4th generation) iPod touch 32Gb. IOS Version 6.1.5 (10B500)
Latest version of Instagram app, as of date 2014 05 18.

When i tried it looked normal and everything with the 'get' button there, but when i pressed the button it changed to the iCloud thingy with an arrow on it. Whenever i try to download it now, it just comes up with a loading circle then quickly goes back to the cloud. i have tried so many things like changing my apple ID account, making a new account, restarting the phone. Nothing works.
(it is not doing this with any other apps)

I deleted both apps and checked that there was no data from either app stored on iCloud (I went to Settings - iCloud - Manage storage and there was no mention of them storing anything on iCloud). Then I reinstalled Instagram, opened it, clicked on Login and the page still showed “Login as MYFACEBOOKNAME”.
How is this possible? How can I delete my FB login info once and for all on my iPhone?
