I have deleted a folder on my iPhone and removed the containing apps from homescreen. Now they are only in the App Library after the last homescreen. I don’t know exactly what apps where in this folder. How can I check which apps are only in the App Library and not on the homescreen? Is there a Shortcuts that can create a list?

These screenshots often feature fully custom app icons, designed and selected by the user. How are these people changing and customizing their app icons? The Springboard on my Late 2018 iPad Pro and now iPhone (as of the last month), crashes between every 20 minutes to 3 hours. I run iOS 13.2.3 The screen goes black, the spinning wheel appears, continues for about 6 seconds and then the Home screen reappears. Any app that I launch reloads. I've have the same case number with multiple Apple Senior Advisors since February and they simply can't figure it out. They have already replaced the iPad as a possible solution. They sent in my log files from an Apple profile to the iCloud team. They've had the log files for 2 months and have never replied. Obviously they're lost too. I've done every normal troubleshooting step under the sun, resetting to factory settings, putting it in recovery mode from iTunes and rebuilding the iPad from scratch, with no iCloud restore. I even signed in with a different, new Apple ID to test that. No joy, it still crashes. I believe I've narrowed down the cause: corrupted iCloud library folders/files because iCloud on a Mac syncs to an iOS device. So what's the best way to replace and re-build those? Recovery mode on my iMac and Macbook? A Terminal command? I can't use my iPad Pro as a functional daily driver when it keeps crashing when working. I moved (essentially deleted) several iCloud library folders on my Macbook and my iPad continues to crash. What steps can be done to isolate or fix this crashing?

App icons on my iPhone are 6 rows by 4 columns = 24 per page but iPad has 5 rows by 4 columns plus ‘dock’ Is there a way to have 6 rows by 4 columns on the iPad also?

My phone's jailbroken; there is no denying it. It is generally pretty reliable, with only a couple of previous springboard crashes caused by the Control Center. But now, every time I open my spring board, it crashes. CrashReporter's main suspect is libFlipswitchSpringBoard.dylib, and the other suspect is libflipswitch.dylib. I've re-installed both of those, but it just keeps crashing. I've also re-installed FlipControlCenter. Is there any way to fix this? I can provide the long list of tweaks installed, but I'll need to update it first. I have an iPhone 6s running iOS 10.3.3 jailbroken with totaly-not.spyware.lol (g0blin method I think, but maybe doubleH3lix). I was successfully using the Xcode Simulator yesterday evening. This morning when I came into work, I didn't change anything, but suddenly, every time I open the Simulator, this error pops up "SpringBoard cannot be opened because of a problem." The same exact thing is also happening to my coworker on his Mac. I've clicked Report and sent a report to Apple. Since I didn't touch anything, I can only assume that the problem was caused by some update that happened in the background between last night and this morning. I've tried deleting the simulator devices and adding them back. I've tried clicking "Reset Contents and Settings..." in the Simulator menu. And I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Xcode. I have: - **OS X El Capitan 10.11.5** - **Xcode 7.3.1 (7D1014)** - **Simulator 9.3 (SimulatorApp-645.9)** I have no idea why this would suddenly be an issue. Has anyone else run into this?

I have way too many apps on my iPhone, so many that I can't find any given app in the folders and pages of the Springboard Home screens any more. If I can't find it, how do I delete it? I don't want to use iTunes for this if there's any way at all to avoid it.

The text beneath the apps looks really out of place with the new iOS 7. Is there any way to turn it off without jailbreaking?

As an iOS developer I have many (>150) apps installed on my iPhone. Sometimes I cannot figure out on which home screen an app is located. I know how to start the app by using the search. And if the app uses a lot of storage I can go to "Settings -> General -> iPhone Storage" and delete it. **But is there any way to find the installed app in the spring board without looking at every home page and in every folder?**

All apps from private/var/stash/Applications.xxxxxx are missing suddenly. I can't exactly say when that happened, don't think it was any specific Cydia tweak. I still can ssh into my iPhone and see that the folder is still there, but the applications inside it won't show up on springboard. I already created a new symlink into root ("/") and I made chmod 775 for the applications folder. I've run out of ideas and would like to avoid a full restore. What could be wrong and what can I do?

On my iPhone's home screen, I have two versions of Cut The Rope 2 which have identical icons and display names. One version is the full version of Cut The Rope 2 , while the other is the F2P Cut The Rope 2: Om Nom's Adventure . Because the display names are identical, I'm not sure which version I should delete. **Is there a way to view an App's full name?**

How can I set the iOS 5 Springboard wallpaper to a different image than the lock screen wallpaper without jailbreaking? The answer may very well be "you can't." I just want to know for sure.

I'm using an html application with form authentication. If I open this application using Safari on iOS and complete the login screen, iOS asks me if I want to save my credentials. but it doesn't work the same way if I add this webapp as a link on the springboard. In that case, iOS doesn't ask me to save my credentials. Why iOS handle these 2 cases in a different way ?

Since updating to iOS 10, when I update my apps, some of the indicator dots are bright cyan instead of blue. For example, Deltek in the screenshot (compared to Sheets). Why? **edit:** In response to IconDaemon's comment, first, the light color was constant as I swiped to and from the page, with the background stationary. Second, I just checked again, and it's now the normal dark blue (see below). I didn't change the background or transparency settings. It might just be a bug, but I don't think it's an illusion or background interaction. **edit 2:** I just updated Facebook Messenger and it happened again. The dot is bright cyan, regardless of its position against the background. I've noticed that at various times, the status bar in SpringBoard will occasionally change colors. When using the Voice Memos app on iPhone, it will be red. While in a call, it's green. Using personal hotspot, I'm seeing a blue. Is there any significance to the colors, or is this a totally arbitrary choice by Apple?

Starting from a few days ago, my iPad mini(1st gen) was restarting every 3-5 minutes. I tried to normally restore, then recovery mode restore, and today DFU restore mode. None of these methods worked. My warranty is already expired, so I cannot bring it into an Apple store. How do I fix this problem? EDIT: I jailbroke my iPad today, hoping to find a solution to the problem in Cydia. When I was downloading a tweak, the "restart springboard" after downloading would restart my device. Could there be a problem with springboard? EDIT 2: I realized that it would have a period of time that it wouldn't autorestart(usually 2-3 hours), then restart approx every 30secs-2mins.
