Power button haptic feedback stopped working on MacBook Pro
The power button on my 13" 2020 MacBook Pro suddenly stopped vibrating when I tap on it. Everything else works fine; just the problem with haptic feedback. Is there a fix for this?

In Clock App / Alarm / Edit or Add Alarm / Sound, I control whether alarm-clock alerts use vibration or sound or vibration-and-sound. But I can't seem to have timer alerts (from Clock App / Timer) that are sound-only (no vibrate), without killing vibration for all apps. Or am I mistaken?

I often have to turn my iPhone ringer off. This is ok when I’m at my desk because when it vibrates it is loud enough on the desk that I never miss a call. My problem is that when I am walking and have the phone in my pocket, I almost always miss the call. This is becoming a real issue for me and I wondered if I could make the vibration louder, but [this question](https://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/111921/iphone-vibrate-level) indicates not. I have an iPhone 6s on iOS 10.3.3, and that question is about 4 years old now, so I'm hoping things have changed. Is this still the case? If its still the case, is there any way I can make the vibration stronger or something?

My mother's new husband is great but very hard of hearing. This would be really useful for him and everybody else if we could get his iPhone to vibrate when people are trying to get his attention or when other important words or phrases are said. I found the sound recognition settings that will notify you of things like coughs or door knocks, but strangely not for specific words.

A friend of me got a new iPhone 13, but is now disappointed from the sound of the iPhone. The ringtone isn't loud enough as well as the vibration is too subtle. Are there any settings/tricks which could help with this? Loudness is on max. level and flash light setting is on. But that isn't enough ... Don't know if special ringtones could improve this and imho Apple should provide such ones. Are there special third party devices, which could help with this? I don't mean a new hearing aid device, but e.g. a bluetooth loudspeaker which runs all the time and can increase the sound if a call comes in. I know the [article](https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT210070) from Apple, but that isn't helping me exactly in this case. Is there a cheaper option than buying an Apple Watch?

Can the vibrating notification when I get a text and using my phone work differently when locked?
I find it a little annoying if I am on phone and get a vibration for a text message. It's enough that I see the notification banner, i do not need it to vibrate too. I want the vibration only when locked, not when unlocked. Is there a setting for this on iOS 14?

I've been tweaking my notification settings for various apps recently, and today I noticed something very peculiar. I was using the [Transit App](https://transitapp.com/) in **Go** mode as I do on most days. As I approached my destination, I felt my phone vibrate... but I had already turned off Sounds in the notification settings for this app! *(See below)* I'm sure the vibrate was from Transit App because I had exactly one notification in my Notification Centre right after I got the vibration. Is there any way to suppress vibrations from app notifications, since apparently turning off sounds doesn't do it? Additional info about my phone settings: - Silent switch: Off - Do Not Disturb: Off - Vibrate on Ring: On - Vibrate on Silent: Off - Ringer volume: 50% - System Haptics: On

Is there a way create a precisely timed Custom Vibration in iOS 13 or later? Additionally, is it possible to make the vibration short enough to mimic the 3D Touch haptic feedback on devices with the Taptic Engine? Do Custom Vibrations even use the Taptic Engine APIs and subsequently is it even capable of that type of vibration? Essentially I’m trying to mimic the “Synchronized” vibration style with my own custom Alert Tone. I’m pretty much willing to go as far as building a little Arduino motor if that’s really what it takes, but I would like to know if anyone else knows any solutions that don’t require me replacing my human finger with a well-timed machine finger, because I haven’t found any.

Exit silent mode without vibrate
When using the hardware switch on the side of my iPhone to change from silent mode to non-silent mode, the phone vibrates once. How can I turn off this vibrate? There is no vibration from non-silent mode to silent mode.

Whenever I start a voice message recording in Signal or WhatsApp my iPhone SE vibrates. This vibration can be heard at the beginning of the voice message. The phone also vibrates at the end of the voice message, when I release the "microphone" button. Since this happens in two messengers independently, I suspect that this is a system setting. I was not able to find an option to turn this off. The phone does not vibrate when I use the built-in "Voice Memos" app. Neither the silent mode nor the do-not-disturb mode have an effect on the vibration. **How can I stop my iPhone SE from vibrating whenever I start and stop a voice recording in a messenger?** iOS 12.0 (16A366), iPhone SE (MP832DN/A)

This question has already been asked here: https://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/237138/how-to-disable-vibration-for-timer-alerts However, iOS has changed so that the workaround of disabling vibrations on alarms no longer disables vibrations on timers... due to the fact that you can no longer disable vibration on all alarms but control each alarm individually. I do not want to disable all vibrations with the mute button. Is there a way to control specifically how the timer behaves?

How can I get repeated alerts after a missed call on an iPhone SE? I am looking for some way to blink the **LED flash** and **vibrate**, periodically after a call has been missed. This periodic blinking and vibrating should continue infinitely, until I dismiss the alert. The notification needs to be noticeable even when the phone is lying on the desk, and the screen is hidden by the flip case, so an on-screen popup is insufficient. Decreased battery life is not a concern for me in this case. Optionally, this notification could be limited to times when the phone is connected to a charger. Which setting or app would allow me to do this with an iPhone SE? Something that works on an un-jailbroken phone would be greatly preferred. ----- *What I found so far:* There is a setting for repeating message notifications, limited to at most 20 minutes after a missed message, but for some reason I was unable to find such a setting for repeating call notifications. I also found a setting to blink the LED flash when the phone rings, but this only works for the exact moment the phone rings, it is not repeated at a later time.

Are there any other options besides (1) manually turning vibrate mode to ring, which sometimes vibrates anyway, or (2) manually activating Do Not Disturb?
