I have done factory reset of my honor 5x Android 6.0.1 by mistake. This phone is rooted and I have tried disk digger pro, desktop applications like easeus recovery via USB debugging. It detects only recent data but not deleted one. 1. I have not overwritten any data ; 2. Phone did not has encryped storage before reset ; 3. It has fingerprint lock before factory reset ; 4. I want to recover phone storage data ; 5. PC applications unable to find any deleted data after scanning all sectors on phone storage. I have done recovery on Android 5.0 lenovo s850 and it was fine so I have recovery experience. - Has factory reset cleared all sectors ? - Does Android 6.0.1 not support recovery ? - Should I rollback to 5.0 and then try ? - Any method available ?

I have a Huawei Honor U8860 with Android ICS. I use two Mugen Power batteries. I always use one battery until it's empty, then charge it to full while using the other battery. Recently Android battery level has started to behave incorrectly. The battery level drops dramatically, then stays at the same level for a long time. I experience similar behavior with all the three batteries I own: the Mugen Power batteries and the original battery. Below is the battery status chart at this moment. Suddenly the battery level dropped to 3 % yesterday, but it stayed there and I've been able to use the phone actively for another day since then. Clearly the battery is still performing well, but Android gets incorrect information about the charge, sometimes even shuts the phone down. I tried calibrating with Battery Calibration app, but the problem has only got worse. Any ideas what's causing the problem? How does Android get the battery level? From the electronics integrated into the battery or by deducing from the voltage level? What does the calibration actually do? Battery level chart

As you can see, perhaps 75% is taken up by a file called 'UPDATE' in the dload folder. Can I delete this? Is this an install file or is it the operating system?! Obviously I could answer my own question by deleting it but I don't want to delete the operating system.

When I start Doggcatcher, after a couple of minutes Android kills Endomondo. What can I do? I'd rather kill any other application or service than these two, but I've already tried uninstalling almost every other app except the system apps. I have stock Android ICS and Huawei Honor.

I have an Huawei Honour running 2.3.6. I have plenty of apps installed and some I have moved to a 32GB sd card. Now I notice that quite randomly some application that are stored on the sd card just disappear. (I am not talking about the apps become unavailable when mounting the USB file system on a PC, as that is to be expected.) All that remains is a placeholder-icon that will be removed once I click it, and every hint that this app was ever installed is gone. I have to go to the playstore and reinstall it. Now I wonder what the source of this problem could be. Is it Gingerbread, or a hardware error (the device itself, or the sd card)?
