I have a Samsung S24 phone and have already disabled/repurposed the Bixby button. I have hearing aids paired with the phone. Randomly, when nothing is streaming to the hearing aids, Bixby starts up and tells me to enter my pin. I suspect it may be when my specs either press the play button or tap against the hearing aids. It is very annoying. I never want to use Bixby. Is there a way to disable it? Note - device is not rooted, and I cant root it. --- There is a **Leave Bixby** option but it comes with warnings of removal of data. I have disabled it from wherever else I could find. If I try to remove it's permissions it says that basic features will not work. I don't want Bixby, but this implies that other features of the phone may not work. It depends on how tightly integrated Bixby is.

Why won't Bixby or Google Assistant work while I record?
I'm on Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. Google Assistant can't start when another app is using the microphone
I can start them manually, so the problem is not exclusive access to the microphone. I've tried like five different recording apps and I just get the same message, when I try to activate it in settings. I'm not really sure what the problem is here.

I have read [this question](https://android.stackexchange.com/questions/205042/is-there-a-way-to-completely-disable-all-bixby-functionality-without-rooting-the) and realised that it is outdated. With the most recent android update for my Galaxy S9, I have no way to disable the Bixby button out of the box. Previously I had to sign in to Bixby, Then go to setting and disable the button there. Afterwards I could remove the samsung account and had no issues at all. **How can I get rid of Bixby/disable the bixby button without rooting the device?** --- Software update: G960FXXU2CSB9/G960FOXM2CSB3/G960FXXU2CSB3 Android version: 9 Security Patch: 2019-02-01 Bixby Home Version 3.0.02.6 Bixby Voice Version 2.1.04.18

I have a galaxy S20+, and multiple times per day, when I pick up my phone or pull it out of my pocket and turn the screen on, the flashlight comes on too. It's very annoying. The flashlight is supposed to turn on if the screen is off and you hold the power button. But often it happens immediately when tapping quickly to turn on the screen, instead of waiting for holding the button. I don't know why or how this happens. If I try to make it happen, I can't. When I try to replicate the problem, the flashlight won't turn on unless I explicitly turn off the screen and then hold the power button for a second or so, like it's supposed to. The problem just happens when I don't want it to and I can't figure out how to fix. Half the day my flashlight is on without me realizing, because it happens so much. When I'm at the gym I will often see the flashlight on through my pocket. It's so annoying. Often it shines into my eyes and hurts. I've looked through all the system settings intensely many times. I can't find any setting. Nothing in the side key has any effect. I disabled Automate and Button Mapper, but still it happens, so it's not caused by those apps. I looked through Firefds Kit and Gravity Box, but no setting is there. After months being annoyed by this and unable to solve, I'm coming here in hopes someone can help. Button Mapper can remap my volume key to do the same thing, so I really just want to fully disable the power key from turning on flashlight while screen off, to solve the problem. How can I do that? I'm rooted and willing to try anything. -- Update I found out that it happens only when the phone has been sitting or in my pocket and is picked up and try to turn the screen on at the same time, and it turns on the flashlight. Haven't figured out how to solve it yet.

Is there a way to completely disable all Bixby functionality without rooting the S9+?
I would like to get rid of Bixby altogether and preferably reassign the Bixby hardware button to a different function. Is that at all possible and if so: how?

How can I delete the Vision provider to free disk space?

Sign in to Bixby to start using the Bixby key.*
