Issue with the Apps that are installed on SD Card after reinserting the SD Card
I am using an Xperia X10 mini pro (Android 2.1-update1). I rooted the phone and partitioned the 8GB SD Card into two parts. 1. ext3 2. FAT32. I installed [Link2SD][1] to move the apps to SD Card. I am using an Xperia X10 mini pro (Android 2.1-update1). I rooted the phone and partitioned the 8GB SD Card into two parts. 1. ext3 2. FAT32. I installed Link2SD to move the apps to SD Card. This has been very useful as this application has an option to move the installed/updated apps to SD Card automatically. But recently it happened to remove my SD Card from phone and inserted another 2GB SD Card for some other purpose. I started the phone and the apps that are showing on phone aren't working as I installed them on my SD card. So I put my 8 GB Micro SD card back to phone. Now the problem arose. I was not able to access the apps installed on SD Card. I had to reinstall all the apps that are there in my phone. Is it how it behaves ? Don't I remove my SD card from phone ? I did a little amount of Experimenting on this and found that its happening only on inserting another SD Card. My mobile is searching for the apps on the newly inserted SD Card. As there are no apps found it might be deleting the links on phone memory. This is my guess only. Still the question stays "How to overcome this kind of scenario ?"

I have a problem with my Xperia X10 (U20i). I purchased it new. It worked fine for a week or so, then I switched to another network operator. When I try to connect automatically it says "Registered on network" but there is no signal. I changed 3 sim cards so far. Still the same. When I put the sim card in another phone that also works, the other phone manages to find the signal. I put back the sim card in my Xperia, it works fine until for some reason I have no signal and the circle continues. I love my phone, I want it to work, with this provider. I am very annoyed. The network provider doesn't know what could it be, they blame the phone. But the phone works with other providers with no problem so I assume it is something else. I did a factory settings restore, I checked for updates. I want to fix it, this issue drives me crazy and I don't want to let it go, I want to FIX it.

Problem with accents in Xperia x10 Mini Pro using CyanogenMod
When you press and release the button in the bottom-left corner, it normally comes up with smilies and accents. If you hold down on it and press "e" once, it will give you "é". But with CyanogenMod's mod, it doesn't work. It just does the same as the blue button. Can anyone help? ![enter image...

I have searched around the net and I have seen here and there people use terms such as real dual-touch and fake dual-touch. I don't really understand what's the difference here? Can the dual-touch ability be faked and how is that possible? By the way, if anyone can tell is it possible to activate the dual touch feature in my phone I would be super thankful.

Recently I started to notice that a lot of people who call me, can't hear my voice during the call. The phone is an almost 2 years old Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini pro, so I guess the microphone could just get old and somewhat start to fail. Also it could be wrong from the beginning. I didn't had that much calls until recently. I think noticing it just now might be reasonable. According to my experience the problem only occurs during incoming calls, I've never experienced it while I called somebody. And only in the first incoming call, if I was recalled right after the first call, everything was fine. This makes it look like if it is the provider's issue. And of course some app blocking my microphone also came into my mind, but I don't have many installed and I don't know if any of them would do such a thing anyway. (The phone was never rooted, it has the official 2.1 ROM, etc.) The question is: because I still have some of the warranty left... how could I determine if my problem is a hardware problem, a software problem or a provider problem to know where should I go with it? (According to my experience if I just say something is wrong without hard evidence, the repair service and the provider will only try to make the other take the blame. Not to mention that they will factory reset the phone, say that they couldn't reproduce the problem, so it had to be one of my apps.)

I went to the Taipei Computer Applications Show 2011 today and bought a Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro from the Sony Ericsson booth there. However, the specs don't seem to match the one on GSM Arena for Xperia X10 at all. Mine shows Android version as 2.3 Gingerbread, a 1 GHz processor, and an HVGA display instead. Is this a legit version or have I just bought a very sophisticated brick?
